We came home, super excited to eat and opened the box to a legit bunch of cilantro on top of our pie. The rep I spoke to on the phone was nice but seriously, an hour wait for a replacement? Zeeks goofed on our order and expected us to wait a whole hour for a new pizza to be made? Lol, someone pinch me. Not for the faint of heart. Large, flavor-rich portions with lots of fixins. Spacious, clean interior with lots of booths and windows all around. Prices are a little high, but you do get a legitimate pizza. Service is upbeat and friendly, though it gets a little busy at times. I like the separate section for meat-lovers, vegetarian and other pizzas - there are several options on each. My personal favorite is "The Spanish Steps" with gorgonzola (but you need to be a cheese-head like me to down this baby), otherwise have some fun with the "Buffalo Soldier", "Thai One On", or a nice "Hawaiian". Basic selection of drink items and a full bar. Nothing amazing there. Also felt no pull towards an appetizer. You get more than enough with the pizza itself. If you know you're going to be stuck in the ferry line due to the schedule, rush-hour traffic, or a breakdown (the WSDOT iPhone app is very helpful for that), this is basically your last chance for some food unless you opt for McDonalds across the street. Zeeks was our go to pizza place for the last two years. Not anymore. Today, I picked up large Thai chicken pizza. Only after reaching home I realized the pizza base was burnt. We had to throw it away. It just indicates the restaurant doesn't care. It's simply irresponsible to provide inedible pizza. We as customers expect a certain quality for the $40 per pizza. read more

I didn't have high expectations of Zeeks but enjoyed my dining experience. I was, at first, perplexed that there were so many families with children (AWESOME) so close to the bar area (not so much). My bartender was attentive, helpful, and quite pleasant. I ordered a medium "kitchen sink" that arrived in a reasonable amount of time. The pizza was "just ok", but made slightly yummier after a few puffs of the "Marley Naturals". The crust was thin and slightly undercooked for my tastes. The toppings, although liberal in portion and evenly distributed, were difficult to contain through a slice by hand delivery system. Luckily, I am a trained master at utensillry, quickly negotiating the dissection of the pie's dimensions with the precision of a surgeon's scalpel. Pizza is good, maybe 4 stars. The poor rating is purely based on ease of use ordering online. Their app and website are extremely dated and difficult to use. No option to order as a guest so a login is required. That wouldn't be a problem if the forgot password feature was actually working. Without this you can't order online and there isn't anyone to contact about login or password reset issues. Worst pizza. Worst delivery. They didn't even call to say they would be 20 minutes LATE. Ordered at 5:55PM, pizza left West Seattle Zeek's 1 mile away at 7:00pm, but NEVER ARRIVED! Dominos, Pagliacci, and Pizza Hut arrived before them. All order by new neighbors after me. In fact, Pagliacci's came back twice as another ofmy new neighbors came down and told me horror stories about "Zeeks". Zeeks Pizza should have stayed in Medina ( a superrich Bourgie neighborhood on the eastside) and never ventured into white-collar West Seattle. Pretty solid! I came here with a group for a late lunch and we were able to get seated right away. Our server was super friendly and service was decently quick. We started with an order of cheese bread, which comes with ranch for dipping. It's a pretty big appetizer (about 12 pieces) so definitely good for sharing. One member of our group is gluten-free, so she ordered some kind of mushroom pizza on the gluten-free crust. She said it was great and my husband liked the slice of it he tried. The rest of us split two pies and everyone was pretty happy. They have a decent selection of beer on tap, but not super extensive. There's free parking in the back, too, so all around it's a good little place for a casual meal. read more

Zeeks Pizza - Pizza Near Me - Seattle, Washington

I have to say that I'm quite impressed with Zeeks Pizza. Generally, their pizzas are brim-full with toppings and their combinations have great flavor profiles. My personal favorite is the Thai Chicken, and you can even choose your spice level like any Thai dish. While some may feel that the sauce is slightly on the salty side, I think the pizza dough combined with sauce balances the salt content well. And, I would say their pizza crust is the best around! Just enough crisp, not too dough-y, and no grease at all, here at Zeeks, the crust should not be discarded on the plate! I've been here 3 times now (generally prior to and after an episode of poke-hunting at Lincoln Park) and have found that the best appetizer is the Greek Salad. Plenty of olives to make it super greeky, with a house-made dressing that brings all salad ingredients together beautifully. Super kid friendly, with crayons and worksheets for the kids. Once they even brought out pizza dough for the kids to play with (they loved it!). My only criticism is that service times (both server and food) can be a bit slow, when the restaurant isn't even full. But, the delicious pizza makes you quickly forgive this part. My boyfriend and I just finished moving into our new apartment and we were tired and starving. I said pizza is a good move-in day dinner and he told me he knew of a pizza spot around... Im from New York so pizza is a pretty big thing but my standards don't apply at all to this. It was not a good pizza. It was not worth the money. The vegetables were still cold and uncooked and the dough wasn't crispy like it had been baked thoroughly. Admittedly, the order was placed a little bit over an hour before closing time. But that doesn't mean you should just lazily throw a bunch of shit together and call it a pizza. Whoever made the pizza today needs to work on making cookies. Could've been a good soft baked cookie. A very bad pizza though. I was starving but I could barely hold down more than a slice. Maybe it'll taste better when I add a bunch of hot sauce and eat it cold in the morning. Zeeks is not my favorite pizzeria. There's one close to where I work, so often when we have a lunch meeting it is catered by Zeeks. Thus, I usually find their pizza to be lukewarm and of so-so quality. It's not really optimal conditions to give them a fair review. However, last night I was at Beveridge Place Pub with a friend and we needed some grub to absorb the massive quantities of fermented hop beverage we were imbibing. This Zeeks is right next door to the pub. I called them up, placed an order, told them we were next door at Beveridge Place and where we were sitting. Less than 30 minutes later the delivery person came over with a piping hot pizza--including plates, napkins, crushed red pepper and parmesan. I still prefer Pagliacci's thin crust to Zeeks', but the pie (a Puget Pounder, with pepperoni, sausage, canadian bacon, olives and mushrooms) was quite tasty and really hit the spot. They've got a number of tasty combos and several veggie pizzas too, if that's how you roll. I'll definitely order from them again--next time I'm at Beveridge Place! read more

The last time I ordered at this Zeeks location, I ordered online. They then delivered only 1 out of 3 pizzas and no salad. I went back online to check and see if I screwed up...nope. All 3 pizzas and one salad were on my order. We were short on time, having to leave for an event but I called them and they said they would rush the rest of the order. No apology, just willing to 'Rush' it. Delivery man drove back to Zeeks and then back to us. He was pissed, saying "they charged you for the rest of the order but they shouldn't have" I will NEVER go to or order from Zeek's again. We were ready to have a delicious meal with our 3 year old and excited to try the new location in our neighborhood. The hostess greeting was fast and friendly and the place was packed. We only waited a few minutes for a table. We were seated in a booth and started looking at our menu's, we were hungry so we knew exactly what we wanted when the server greeted us 5 minutes later. The service was so-so...not a lot of attention. She had a full section and was busy. There wasn't anything for the kids (ie crayons, kids menu, kids cup, etc..) so our 3 year old was pretty antsy. The greek salad came pretty quickly but was just okay. There was hardly any feta, the olives were scarce and cut into quarters and that's about it. The dressing was just oil and vinegar...:( We waited another 20 minutes for the pizza to arrive. We ordered the Hawaiian Pizza, again it was just okay. The only plus is that it was served really hot. The sauce was very bland, no taste at all. Where is the garlic, herbs or even salt? Very disappointing.... we were hoping for a great experience. All in all, we paid close to $40 for a split salad and a pizza that was very mediocre.... bummer. read more

Coupon in the recent Val-Pak? I'm there. Being a Luciano's regular, I wanted to branch out to try Zeeks delivery this go around. I, personally, love me some white or olive oil sauced pizza so we got half a Yeti and half Puget Pounder. When we busted open the pizza box, my first thought was "ewww - it doesn't look hot." Not sure if the pizza was making its way around the West Seattle neighborhoods or if it was sitting up on a counter waiting for it to be delivered, but it was lukewarm at best. Nothing special at all and it seemed like an old school Shakey's Pizza. Kind of light on the toppings and just not that great. The free chopped salad was the highlight of our dinner. Everything as promised and a nice balsamic vinaigrette to boot. We were asked about red pepper flakes and parm. Affirmative. Uh, not in the box. Zeek's is my very favorite pizza in the city. I've been ordering from them for over 20 years both for delivery and dine-in, ordering either the John Candy or Ultimate Pepperoni pies. When I dug into my pie last night, it tasted as if someone had spattered a can of Ragu on it and sent it on its way. For me, the sauce is the foundation of the pizza and I couldn't get past the awful taste. Also important to note, I recall the crust having a savory garlic favor, which, now is gone. I don't know what happened, but for the price of the pizza and in respect to pizza in general, it should have been better. I am also a big fan of the half-and-half pizzas; I love variety, and who wants to commit to just one kind of pizza? Not me. Plus, it makes satisfying multiple people easy. What's not to love about Zeeks in West Seattle? Let's just say I'm a thin-crust girl, and I stick to my principles. (Except when at Beveridge and in need of sustenance.) If you like a bready crust, Zeeks is your place, and you can have it! Plus, the toppings come across as mild in flavor and a bit light in application. How odd. This wasn't the first time we went to this Zeek's and I was sure I reviewed it. I've always been a fan of Zeek's because it was my first experience with pizza that went outside the box and even a little around the bend! I moved to Arizona for 6 years and was subject to the "mundanization" of chain pizzas (CPK, Papa John's, Pizza Hut, Domino's, you get the idea...) and I honestly missed Zeek's! Local pizza places (that didn't require reservations / required excessive line waitage) relied on lots of cheese, lots of crust, lots of toppings (think: Rosati's, Floridino's, Oregano's, Jimmy & Joe's...) to get their point across. By the time I returned to Seattle, the Golden Age of Neopolitan Pizza had already begun! In a new thin-crusted world, where the recipe for deliciousness is merely a blend of top quality and simplicity, Zeek's seems to have somewhat lost its edge. The ingredients are good quality and they have some winning combinations and a good crust, but they don't stand out as much as they used to on my palate's memory. I'd give this branch a 3 stars because they are out of the way of the parking nightmare that mars the Alaska Junction experience. They have plenty of seating and friendly staff in a nice open, airy space. But I estimate they'll need to do a little re-inventing to put themselves back on the map, especially with Abbondanza so close by. Something about them feels stale. read more

My wife and I have been here a couple of times now. It is good pizza. It hasn't blown my mind though. The prices run from about $14 to $25+ depending on the pizza and the size of the pizza. They have a decent selection of beers...nothing fancy but not bad. Wait staff is friendly although they can be pretty slow sometimes. I have run out of water/tea/soda and had to flag them down to get a refill. Not every time..but enough to be annoying. I would give them more stars if the pizza was a little better priced but, for the price, it just isn't that great. Paid less and had better. Would I go again..yeah, if some friends wanted to go or if I happened to be in the neighborhood. Would I deliberately drive out of my way to seek it out...probably not. read more

One of the only things good here was the service. Probably because we were one of 2 tables there... My order was for the "Chop Salad" and a small Hawaiian Pizza with red onion. Both ended up as huge duds. The chop salad was not a chopped slad. It was a green salad with some croutons and garbanzos. Usually I go easy on dressing. Too much can drown the greens. But this one was almost completely dry. Totally disappointing. The pizza was worse. It wasn't cooked enough. It could have been cooked twice as long. The onions we added were raw (so we thought). The waiter told us it was cooked. What a surprise. They decided to redo the whole thing. The second time around, it was just barely cooked. Something must be wrong with the oven, since the crust was done, but the cheese was barely melted. The crust is so bland yet overwhelmes the pizza with it's bland doughy taste. Ick. I'm not really sure why this place has so few stars. I visit West Seattle a couple times a year to see my parents and when I was there for the holidays we ordered take out from Zeeks one night. When looking at their menu online I have to say that there were several pizzas that I wanted to try (all of which had interesting names). We got a pacific pounder and cherry bomb We ordered online which was super-simple and went to pick up our pizzas. We got there a few minutes early and lo-and-behold they had Mac & Jack's on tap. So of course I proceeded to get a pint while my girlfriend missed out on liquid glory and had some wine. Right when we finished our drinks the pizzas came out, piping hot, and we drove home. The pizzas were warm and delicious when we got home. I have to say that I am a stalward Pagliacci's fan but 1)Pagliacci's doesn't deliver to 35th and Holden area (which is screwy since it's West Seattle) and 2) if I'm going to go pick it up, Zeek's is closer and has beer. Pagliaccia's should start delivering in a broader area. Zeek's also has some pretty cool t-shirts that you can buy with a cool picture and a name of their pizza. You can only get them in their Bellown restaurant though. Otherwise I would have bought one. read more

I've had Zeeks before and remember it being really good. So we decided to order from this Zeeks for the first time, we usually order from Pagliacci's closer to our home. We ordered a large Puget Pounder which came out close to $30 after all the charges and fees. We were really disappointed because when it arrived, the bottom of the box was extremely soggy. Pizza was a decent size but the toppings kept falling off, not enough cheese. My husband called it an over priced pizza hut pizza. On a positive note, delivery was fairly quick, less then 30 minutes. We'll probably stick to our Pagliacci's pizza. read more

We are new to the West Seattle area and had a hankering for a pizza one evening. Someone had mentioned Zeeks so we gave them a try. They were very punctual got here right and the toppings look great the crust however was bad. I had asked if they did thin crust pizza and she said no sorry but we hand tossed all of our pizza crusts. Well it was thick and very chewy and kind a like cardboard.
