Zoey's serves up amazing fried chicken sandwiches, and we are so impressed by literally everything we've tried on the menu! I usually get the cordon bleu, and it is phenomenal, the brioche bun is buttery and soft, the garlic spread is perfectly salty and garlicky without being overwhelming, and the chicken? OH MY GOD THE CHICKEN. It is so moist and perfectly breaded, it's truly just so so good. And the price cannot be beat for such an amazing sandwich. It also comes with perfectly crispy fries! -chefs kiss- My fiancé gets the sweet pineapple curry sandwich and it is likewise, delicious. The curry is spiced and warm, and the pineapple is a perfect compliment to the crispy chicken and curry, it's so uniquely delicious and he dreams of this sandwich on the regular. It is that good! The homemade buttermilk ranch is also well worth picking up, the sandwiches are so moist that they don't really need it, but it's so delicious and creamy and herby. I wasn't sure that I wanted a chicken sandwich, but when I saw the different options on the menu board I chose a pineapple version. The chicken was well cooked, perhaps a little too thick to manage. I've been here a couple times now and it never disappoints. These chicken sandwiches are head and hands above anything you're going to get from a big chain. The chicken is always moist and has great texture, and they're generous with all the condiments. They have a lot of different combinations of sandwich fillings, but I love the bacon avocado so much I think it will be a while before I really explore the menu. The staff are really nice too. Zoey is a great personality gooder this place, she's warm and friendly and just seems down home to me. Hubby and I went in around 1:30 on Saturday to try this new place and wow I'm glad we did. Delicious! She's only been open 10 months and this lil place only seats 20 people and that's a good thing. Best chicken sandwich I've ever had!! I get the original chicken with bacon. Large pieces of chicken are perfectly cooked with a lightly crispy layer on the outside. Amazingly juicy on the inside. Fries are also good and complement the chicken sandwich very well. Zoey makes you feel welcome and her food is prepared with a lot of love and care. Glad to make a stop here anytime I'm in the area. Tried this place out after finding them through the local library - got a mix of chicken tenders, chicken sandwiches, burgers and chicken wings. Everything was fantastic. I got the habanero chicken sandwich, while yes it's made to order and super fresh. The chicken was a little dry to me, and I thought the sandwich would be tossed in a habanero sauce and it wasn't. They also have local artwork displayed on the walls that's available for purchase. There was only one woman working, it was slow which was nice because it allowed me to soak up the place. Went here again 2 weeks later for a second visit. I called ahead of time to order because I didn't want to have to wait while the food was being made. The man who took my order said 20-25 minutes. I arrived at the 25 minute mark, and was told by the same man it would be another 5 minutes. Turns out, he and another guy in the fry area only started making my two sandwiches AFTER I had arrived. This meant I ended up waiting inside almost 15 minutes for my order. I am disappointed as the woman who greeted me and made my food the first time I tried this restaurant (I think she's the owner) was really friendly and customer-oriented. Generally, the feel of the shop is unclean. Sorry guys, it's true. Their fried chicken breasts appear to start as thawed fresh meat and are hand breaded. Their sandwich choice is okay. They use what I consider "cheap" fries. This sums up the culinary experience. It's uninspiring. Although, I use Zoey's, and will continue to, my expectations are low. If they wanted to boost attention, they would focus some attention to cleaning their restaurant. Especially where we sit and wait for food, and their single bathroom. They could switch to fresh cut French fries and offer some special sauce for those fries. Even adding an insanely hot chicken sandwich option would help. Needed a quick lunch during an hour break in a conference. Walked in and was greeted by a very friendly lady. She was doing it all. There appeared to be 3 to-go/pick-up orders ahead of us. We were expecting it to be a bit of a wait as a result. We ordered and sat down. I'm not sure we were seated for more then 10 minutes before she brought out our lunches. OH. MY. GOODNESS. Amazing. Like someone else mentioned here, Zoey has also claimed one of my teeth. Their chicken sandwiches are tasty, I'll give them that. I thought I had found my new takeout spot. Unfortunately for me, my 2nd time eating here, a piece on my sandwich was so hard, it shattered my one of my molars. It caused so much damage, there was nothing my dentist could do but pull it. It'll cost me 4 grand to get a dental implant, so that'll probably never happen. I really should sue this place for the cost. If you are going to eat here, make sure you have good dental insurance, and that you don't mind missing a tooth. For me, totally not worth it. Would not recommend. read more

Tried this place in 2020 when I first moved to Everett, I ordered the original fried chicken sandwich and I was amazed by the seasoning and how well it was fried. I went back again today, and got the pineapple curry chicken sandwich and it was mind-blowing. The owner is really sweet and runs the business by herself and maybe with her son's help on the weekends sometimes. She gave me extra fries, and let me tell ya, their fries are so crispy and well seasoned. Definitely the best chicken sammie place upnorth and price is very reasonable for the portions. My family and I have eaten here 1x and honestly I don't know if I'd give it a second chance?. It was very over priced, my fries were cold (nobody ate the fries) and the chicken had a real good flavor but I could tell it had been sitting a while as it was dry and rubbery. It was slapped together so the tops and sides of the buns were covered in sauce nd it was basically an unhot mess that I was very disappointed in! When i went in for my carryout the employee(s) did not say anything to me they seemed cold and stand offish. I'd been meaning to write this review for some time, and was reminded today when we drove 30 miles out of our way to pickup an order which as usual was prepared and presented perfectly. The flavors are rich and unique and the fried chicken is excellent. Zoey and team never skimp on sauce (whether it be on the sandwich or a side order for dipping) which to me is a game changer. I'm a pretty good cook with southern foods but Zoey's fried chicken is THE BEST. Thick cuts of breast, perfectly battered (not too much, just enough for a great crunch) and spot on seasoning. Based off reviews, I went to Zoey's today and brought home three fried chicken sandwiches for the family and we all loved them! It's a small family owned restaurant with a simple, clean interior that appears to have been modified for temporary take out only (tables off to the side). The picture is of their hot fried chicken sandwich, keep in mind it had to endure a trip home so it got a little smooshed but that didn't affect the incredible taste. Zoey makes you feel super welcome and she's such a sweet person, I loved making conversation with her as she was frying up my spicy chicken tender sandwich, which was really, really good. The chicken was crispy on the outside and super soft on the inside and the flavors was amazing as well. She has some really great art on her walls painted by some local artist which is really cool.
