Zucker Bagels is a must for anyone who takes their bagels seriously. The bagels are fresh, perfectly chewy on the inside with just the right crust on the outside, and packed with flavor. The cream cheese selection is generous and creative, and the classic combinations are done exceptionally well. Service is quick and efficient, even during busy hours, and the staff keeps things moving without feeling rushed. I love their sweet and spicy traditional bagel!!! Whether you're grabbing a simple bagel with schmear or a fully loaded sandwich, Zucker consistently delivers. It's the kind of place you'll find yourself craving again the next morning.

Looking for a NY Bagel during our trip to NYC. This place delivered. Place was packed but service was organized and efficient. Hard to get a seat but eventually got one. The bagels were delish, and the schmears were top notch. I had a Salt bagel with kimchi Cream cheese. Wife had the avocado toast with an egg. Spectacular!

We tried this place at the recommendation of a driver we had in the city. He said it was the best bagel, and I tend to agree! They have lots of variety of bagels that are big and light and fluffy, but very tasty! Today I tried the egg bacon and cheddar sandwich with everything bagel. It was delicious! I will say they are quite pricey. My one sandwich was $11. If you come here just know that the lines tend to be long, but there is an option to order online and just come in to pick it up. When I arrived today, the line was to the front door however it moved quickly and I ordered in no time. Also, as a note the space is tight ...there's lots of small tables and some bar seating. People tend to rotate through them pretty quickly, but it is very tight.

I stop by this Zuckers almost every time I'm in the area! I enjoy it as a bagel spot. Lines and seating tend to be a bit crowded and the bagels are somewhat pricey for what they are. I recently got the truffled egg on a garlic bagel--it was SO good! The bacon egg and cheese was also good, but a bit on the pricier side and didn't blow me away, I'll probably stick to the more fun combos rather than the classics here. The latte was good as well! I love a seasonal flavor so that was pretty exciting for me. All in all, this spot is reliable albeit a bit pricey, but it absolutely has me coming back. The variety of flavors is a huge plus, and I love the sandwich options.

No wait on a Friday morning at 7am so our food came out quickly and there was seating. Staff was nice enough. Definitely ask for them to toast your bagel because it's whatever cold. Like a grocery store bagel. Not a lot of indoor seating as it looks a to-go shop. Lox and cream cheese was delicious. Pepperoni pizza was interesting.

Solid bagel near Bryant Park and the library. I was in the area and needed something quick (before a Broadway matinee, to be exact.) I was in the mood for a bagel at lunchtime and Zucker's delivered. It took more time than I thought to get my food and I devoured it standing up. They have lots of seating, including bar seating near the window so you can people-watch. Picking up your order after you order can be confusing--they give you a paper and then check your paper. I don't think they handled the lunchtime crowd that well. Bagel was fine, it was warm and large and a good amount of moist. It's a bit pricier for a bagel than I expected.

I had to run in here on my way to some errands. Service was quick and there were lines specific to deli orders vs. lunch orders which I love. I ordered a basic - white fish salad on an everything bagel - it was perfect! There are some tables for dining in and I loved the high top bar area as I was on the go and didn't want to set all my things down.

This spot was within walking distance of our hotel and across the street from Bryant Park. There are signs all over telling you how to order and where to line up. You also have the option to order ahead. You get in the ordering line, tell them your order and they give you an order slip to pay at the register. A bacon , egg , cheese is going to set you back about $10 here but again it's manhattan. I'm not even sure of the going rate in other places. They also had some specials advertised out front. They have tables inside but there is also plenty of seating in the park so take advantage of that on a nice day. Shout out to Shappel (sp?) who was working the check out both times we stopped in. Super nice and friendly!

A solid spot to grab a quick bagel for a reasonable price! Zuckers is super casual with a few small tables for seating and a counter to order at. I love how many different options there are at Zucker's from the bagel types, cream cheese flavors, to bagel sandwiches. I had the garlic bagel with pizza cream cheese and it was a delicious affordable combo.

Stopped by Zucker's and loved it! I got the everything sourdough bagel with the honey jalapeño schmear, plus avocado and pickle -- and it was so yummy. Perfect balance of spicy, sweet, creamy, and crunchy. The service was super quick, and the location is easy to access, which makes it perfect for a fast, delicious breakfast on the go. Definitely a spot I'd come back to.

First bagel in New York City. My boyfriend and I were roaming around the city and it was not quite time for a meal, but definitely time for a snack. We stopped by Zucker's Bagel near Bryant Park and the New York Public Library and shared a Traditional ($16.50). Staff was like, you should get your own, he's paying! Nice hustle. Seating was limited and very tight. Tables were dirty and no one went around to clean anything the whole time we were there. I had my own wet wipes to sanitize our space. Food took a while to prepare. The Traditional comes with their Nova Scotia salmon, plain cream cheese, beefsteak tomatoes, red onions, and capers. Sounds like a basic lox to me. We opted for the everything bagel. I liked it as much as any other lox bagel I've had in the past. Nothing special considering the hefty price tag.

Wait in queue on the left side to place an order at the counter. The staff will provide you a slip to go around and pay at the second counter. The bagel was pillowy and dense with lots of flavor! There was ample toppings on the everything. However, the bagel was not toasted well enough for any crunch. A bagel with plain cream cheese came out to $4.90 (including tax). While this is not the best bagel in the city, it's better than a street cart bagel. read more

Overpriced. Inefficient. They're still doing paper tickets in the kitchen, even though their point-of-sale has digital capabilities. It's not like they are an old institution and want to keep things original; they just opened up a year ago. Their digital menus keep changing every five seconds, so you can't properly read the items or monthly specials. The lines are stupid long. The prices are too high for what you get, and you're still hungry afterwards. $15 for a bagel with smoked salmon, cream cheese, and tomato? Come on. We had to go get more food at the holiday market afterwards to fill up. The bagels are your average bagels. They even got our orders for the latkas wrong. Biggest disappointment of our day in the city. read more

Food was delicious and fresh, though a bit pricey as one might expect as the establishment is across from Bryant Park. What really detracted from greatness was that ZERO attention was paid to the restroom. This is singular as the men's room was out of order. Had to use the women's which was FILTHY and devoid of any toilet tissue, hand wipes, or soap. Really a health hazard in a place where food is served. Manager needs a lesson in how to run the place. read more

Quick service. Food was good, I ordered the Avocado toast on an Everything bagel and added Salmon, $16. It was good but I don't know if I was a fan of the little tomatoes, it can be a little messy. The Baked Salmon Egg sandwich was very good, definitely recommend. Good atmosphere, right across the street from Bryant Park. The bagel was okay, nothing special, and much harder than it should be at 10am. The lox was however excellent. The coffee mediocre, at best. And the rugelach was sooo doughy and undercooked and probably the worst I've ever had. I really wouldn't mind paying $45 if it was very decent to excellent, but it wasn't. Overpriced swill, with 100 people waiting to get some. I don't get it. read more

Looking for a bagel shop that is not too far from Summit One and have good Yelp reviews. This one fits the bill!! They were doing a promo with Tillamook yesterday. We all got a free bagel with Tillamook spread! Always happy to get freebies!! Their bagels is very good. Spread is extremely generous - maybe too much. Cappuccino and lattes are great! Lox is yummy as well. 4 stars as it takes a very long time to get the food and drinks for 4 of us - over 30 mins. Maybe it's because of the promo?? I was hoping we have enough time to sit down to enjoy breakfast before we go to Summit One. We had to eat and walk in order to meet our admission tickets time slot. On the way out, they are giving away free tub of Tillamook cream cheese to take home as well. read more

Zuckers had the perfect mix of old school classic New York and new school modern convenience. As you enter the line your group makes it way to the next open lane. You order it up on the slip and don't delay you might get that classic New York bite. The bagels had the perfect balance of chew and crisp layered with cream cheese the perfect meal any time of year. The zuckers everything seasoning was perfectly balanced so much so they sell it by the bottle! Best side add the hard boiled eggs because it has more of that seasoning to add to the eggs! read more

I was expecting a lot with the order of Baked Salmon Sandwich. From the name of this place this would be the best choice. But disappointed. Bagel was hard as if made from yesterday. Salmon was so salty that I had to take them out before I could eat the rest of the sandwich. Service was average. Ambiance is good. A few tables to sit and eat but I took it to go so didn't matter. In conclusion definitely not worth $17 for that sandwich. read more

Very good bagels with a variety of fish spreads so wide that it defies imagination. My only knock was that attempting to order a cup of whole milk became an exercise in patience. Employee seemed baffled by the order and the ordering system apparently couldn't account for a large cup of milk. read more

Excellent bagels and coffee, but.... Came in on a Monday around 11AM. Kinda crowded, but staff was dealing with volume efficiently. Well.... Maybe not so efficiently. Husband and I both asked for onion bagels with our orders. We both got salt bagels. And their salt bagels are REALLY salty. Yes, we should have returned them, but we were on a tight schedule so just scraped off the salt we could and ate them. Be sure and check your order folks! read more

Zucker's has decent bagels in a convenient location across the street from Bryant Park. The bagels are fresh and don't need to be toasted. Every time I've stopped by here I've ordered a Zucker's Traditional which comes with Nova salmon, plain cream cheese, tomato, red onions and capers. This is a great combination and I can taste each of the ingredients, with none standing out more so than any other. The only downside is that the signature sandwiches are supposed to come with a pickle and coleslaw. Most of the time, they forget to include the two sides (sometimes I want it, sometimes I don't) so if it's important to have them check your bag when you receive it to make sure they are in there. The service is pretty quick and it's pretty organized there. After placing your order in the back counter, you take your order slip and pay the cashier. Then you wait until your name is called before picking up your order at the counter. Some really good bagel shops are 2 or 3 blocks away. Some are better and some are not. Zucker's is a bit pricier than the others but makes up for it with its convenient location and the quality of the bagel with nova and cream cheese. read more

THis place DOES NOT KNOW how to make coffee. The Pots were not washed and the coffee filters and There is no fresh Coffee, watered down. Services is ehhh. Sadly this is my last time going there will go elsewhere. How can you sell bitter and burnt coffee. I am not critical, but this one got to me. Live and let live. Hope someone is listening. read more

On our recent trip to NYC we went to Zucker's for lunch and for breakfast. The bagels were very good. My wife is not as big a fan of bagels as I am, so she had a grilled cheese sandwich that was loaded with cheese on white bread and then oatmeal for breakfast, which she also liked. Seating is very limited. They have bar/counter seating for approximately eight people and have approximately 6-7 table/booths. read more

We have been eating here the last few days because it's close to our hotel. The bagels are good but we have noticed the everything bagel gets pretty hard when toasted. The service is really quick and it seems pretty efficient. Good easy breakfast not much more to say read more

The staff is super friendly, my only constructive comment about the service is that they call orders by first name (so if a bunch of people are named Joe this causes confusion). The location is great - right next to Bryant Park it's a perfect spot for a quick work lunch. Their everything bagel is perfectly seasoned and super tasty. Also love the everything smoked salmon. Definitely recommend! read more

Do yourself a favor and skip this place, there are so many better ones. The "bagels" here are very dense and bready, not at all chewy like a bagel should be. The amount of cream cheese they give you is a joke, extremely thin (literally thin enough to see through). Don't go here if you are looking for an amazing NY (or anywhere) bagel experience. We ordered delivery from this location three times when we stayed in midtown. The breakfast sandwiches and bagel & cream cheese were everything we wanted. We couldn't stop thinking about how good it was that we ordered the new par-baked bagels when we got home so we can have them any time! They turn out perfectly in about 10 min in the air fryer. I ordered the Latke Bec bagel to go. It was so easy to order via their website/Apple Maps. Very user friendly. When I arrived at the restaurant, they had signs that clearly labeled where to pickup making the pickup process a breeze. Once at the pickup counter, someone immediately came to get my order for me. She was super friendly and the service was quick. The bagel was delicious! It was so filling that I could only eat half! Definitely try it out if you're in town! 10/10 read more

I ordered the La Summer sandwich and added pesto. After sitting down and taking my first bite, I immediately understood the hype. Without a doubt, this is one of the best sandwiches I've had in a very long time. I'm not even a huge sandwich person when it comes to subs and deli meats, but everything tasted incredibly fresh. The ingredients paired together perfectly, and you could still taste each one individually. The only thing I'd change next time is the meat. I had no idea prosciutto was a type of ham, but honestly, it didn't even taste like ham to me. It was sliced paper-thin, slightly salty, and worked surprisingly well with everything else. Next time, though, I'll probably add salami just to see how it compares. Overall, this sandwich was a solid 10/10, and I will absolutely be back--whether it's to try a different sandwich or, if we're being honest, order the exact same one again with salami added. I will say it's on the expensive side, but that's New York City for you. Apparently, all of the ingredients are flown in from Italy. After tax and tip, I paid a whopping $28 for a single sandwich. That said, it was incredibly filling and definitely kept me satisfied. The workers were also really nice and accommodating, and the indoor seating was beautiful. The atmosphere felt like a fancy Italian café, complete with couches and artwork throughout the space. I wish I had taken pictures, but honestly, I was too busy enjoying what might be the best sandwich I've had in years.

My experience at Zucker bagels is absolutely the worst and if I can give them a -100 I would from the first time I entered. Bagels are good cream cheese is great, but the service and staff are pitiful and as a matter of fact when I finally got a hold of Bridget after several days, she told me hey yeah this is on sixth Avenue. We have a lot of parades going by. This is New York, people don't show up to work And I said that's not my problem. I am a consumer purchasing at your facility and you failed, not only did you fail me but if you check your Google reviews and yelp reviews, you will notice that service is terrible. After my conversation with Bridget, and listening to her excuses I decided to post this. She supports her employees regardless if they lie or make excuses or tell you the wrong thing. Here are a couple examples of that the Mac Zucker bagel comes with whitefish tomato and onions yet when I ordered it, they priced it out as a regular bagel with whitefish and failed to put it on. For me it was the dishonesty and lack of caring. Use of the bathroom comes with a code but you only get that at the bottom of the receipt after waiting on line as they have one cashier. It's one of those classic New York spots where the line moves fast, so you definitely want to know your order before you make it to the counter. Walking around Rockefeller Center during the holidays always leaves you craving delicious food. As a native New Yorker, we decided to check out the popular tourist spot, Zucker's Bagels. Despite the long lines, the staff was incredibly efficient, quickly moving customers along and filling orders. Seating can be a challenge, as there aren't many tables and chairs available. We tried the Salmon Lox on an everything bagel and the Pastrami sandwich on an everything bagel. Both were fresh and tasty, with generous portions of salmon lox and pastrami. This is the must try bagel shop on your NYC trip. Without a doubt, I would recommend going for the rainbow bagel. There are so many different cream cheese flavors here - The sky is the limit. The bagels are very filling. As this place is very popular and may feel overpopulated, the line moves fast. The verdict is: some trends do deserve the spotlight. Located right in Midtown, it's a great quick stop whether you're heading out for the day or grabbing breakfast before exploring the city. The shop had a nice local neighborhood feel with a huge selection of fresh bagels, spreads, breakfast options, sandwiches, and coffee. I went with the onion bagel with jalapeño cream cheese, and it was perfect. The bagel was fresh, soft on the inside with a nice chewy texture, and the onion flavor really stood out. The jalapeño cream cheese added just the right amount of spice and creaminess without overpowering the bagel. One thing you immediately notice is how fresh everything tastes. The portions were generous, the staff was friendly, and the atmosphere had that busy New York breakfast vibe that makes the experience even better. They are a standard classic bagel in nyc -- good if you've never had a proper nyc bagel. Not the best though. What brings me back here again and again are their sandwiches which are AMAZING. I usually get the Chipotle chicken or the wasabi cc and lox-- both are delicious. They are not cheap with the stuffing and the food is fresh. The second time around I got The Works ($16) with Cucumber Dill Cream Cheese, also with the Pumpernickel Everything Bagel. Both were good in their own way, it just depends on what you're in the mood for. They definitely don't skimp on the fillings and give you plenty of cream cheese. I could taste everything that they put in it and it's just such a great combination of flavors. They also have a wide variety of cream cheeses and bagel types that there's just endless possibilities of what you can get. Really good place to get a quick breakfast. The inside is cute with some seating available. People move in and out pretty quick so the wait is short. There is also a nice park to sit close by.
