golden milk latte was good. but the breakfast was not up to par, as mentioned in other reviews. weekend waffles had no flavor and was thin. whatever mix they used tasted stale. i ate only the fruit and a few bites of the waffle. i was excited to see they offered clotted cream and jam with the scone, thinking it was like an English scone. but was hugely disappointed that the clotted cream was overly sweet and tasted more like sweet whipped cream and made the jam taste sweeter. the scone was an american chocolate chip scone: thick and starchy. overall was disappointed with the food but enjoyed the coffee and vibes of the cafe. read more

I could not avoid trying this highly rated neighborhood café. We went for a weekday breakfast, and hence there was not too much crowd. Street parking was nonetheless not completely easy. The place seems to be designed for small group gatherings, reading, games, but obviously suffered from the pandemic. Anyhow, the menu was retrieved from QR code. We chose an avocado toast, a muesli/parfait, and a quesadilla, which were all very nice, fresh, and crispy. Super delicious was the Spanish coffee. The servers are very nice and friendly. I really want to like this place but I think it may only be good as a coffee joint but not for food. The waffles were served with a fake maple syrup, not real maple syrup. The syrup like this one with fructose corn syrup really ruins the pancakes or waffles. Aside from Dennys every other cafe and restaurant uses the real maple syrup. For the amount paid a little real maple syrup would go a long way! I hope the owner considers making this small change. The eggs were overly salted and I don't mind salt. But there was way too much on these eggs. Maybe I'll try the food again in the future but I wouldn't order any pancakes or waffles without real maple syrup. The coffee was good and I would definitely order that again. read more

This is a great place for a meal, a coffee, or to study. Even if people are talking in the cafe, it never seems to be too chaotic or loud. Despite it just being a coffee shop and having informal seating, the food is excellent. I especially love their breakfast burrito with beef chorizo. Do be aware, though, the kitchen often closes before the cafe closes. The service is kind and efficient. I never have to wait long for my order to be taken or for my drink/food to come out. They usually even deliver it directly to you. Additionally, sometimes if you happen to be there when it's slow or close to closing, they will make one of their green smoothies and hand free samples out to everyone there. Such a treat! read more

I always get the the Mexican latte and the Spanish Latte both are delicious and strong drinks. The restaurant is always clean, and staff are courteous. The decor is warm and unique. There's literature for you to read if need it. The outside patio is available if you want to enjoy the neighborhood. I've been wanting to try this place and I'm so happy I finally got to try it! I love breakfast places especially when they have pancakes! I got the oat milk latte and breakfast plate - it comes with two pancakes with fruits, andouille sausage (or turkey bacon), two eggs, and potatoes. It is such a big plate that I took half of it home! Everything tasted so good! This is a great place to have coffee and plug in to do some work (they have free wifi and plenty of places to plug your laptop), or sit and enjoy a delicious meal. What's up: We just finished our hike and we were looking to grab some breakfast. After a quick search of what was in the area, we decided to check out this little place and see how "zweet" this place was :) Parking: Street parking. Easy to find. We managed to grab a spot in the front and didn't have find parking on the side streets. Environment: Once you walk towards the building, the word "quaint" kept running through my head. There's outdoor seating and it's decorated with lots of plants. Order inside at the counter. Menus can be viewed via the QR code scan. After ordering, we were directed to our table. The tables are spaced out for covid safety. Once our food was ready, they brought it right out. What was ordered: - Breakfast Burrito with Beef Chorizo (yummy and tasty with the salsa) Yay/Nay/Meh: Yay. This was a nice find and the food definitely hit the spot. Their soy chorizo burrito is SO AMAZING. We had tempered expectations, but were so impressed with how delicious it was. We also had the turkey bacon which was good, but didn't hit as hard following the soy chorizo. Service is also impeccable here - although we ordered for take out, we decided to just eat really quickly at one of the tables out front. They were still nice enough to bring us out napkins, forks, etc. Street parking isn't too tough out front and luckily the generous bike lane makes parallel parking much less stressful than on other busy streets. Went there today, the food was ok but the server was not up to par. I asked multiple times for jelly and water. The water jug was not filled and there was no cups and the server got mad I took two plastic cups to try to get water. The kid was too busy eating at the table or on his phone so I had to keep asking multiple times. My order was wrong but I ate it anyways. Came here to work yesterday morning as part of my coffee shop remote work Fridays. To start, parking is very easy as there is street parking all around the neighborhood. The cafe itself is a great place to grab a quick bite to eat, meet with friends, or even sit with your laptop to work. I was greeted very kindly by the lady working the cashier. They have a large menu which included vegetarian options as well as caffeinated and non caffeinated drinks. They also have pastries and smoothies as well. I opted for a egg sandwich on a croissant and a coffee. I was blown away by how flavorful and filling the sandwich was! It came with a side of sauce that had a very mild kick to it which I enjoyed. I also enjoyed their coffee. They were nice enough to let me sample their green smoothie which was absolutely delicious. My favorite cafe in my area! This is my go to place to study and my latte. The latte I get all the time is the Spanish Latte! It has the perfect amount of sweetness at the right price. It is offered both on Ice and hot. I like it more as a hot latte but when its hot outside I get the Iced Latte. I tried their Breakfast Burrito before, which was filling and was so flavorful. I also tried their pastries before, which they can heat up. The pastries are of good quality and worth it. There are plenty of tables and outlets everywhere! The volume of the music was enough for me to not be distracting. There's also pillows around, which makes it comfortable to sit and lounge as well. The overall environment is great with the decor and layout of the cafe. Parking is easy, since there's usually street parking. The service is fast and friendly as well! We checked out this new spot yesterday around 2pm. Super cute location, the staff were very kind (I believe this place may be family owned). There was 7 of us so our order was obviously larger so we didn't mind the wait (roughly 30-40 mins total ) but the food came out one by one, 5-8 minutes a part and they got one of the orders wrong so that took additional 10 mins to bring out. I understand the staff did the best they could BUT I HIGHLY recommend anyone visiting this cafe to review the prices when they're ordering. I noticed the price difference from our receipt and on their physical menu. 2 of our items were $1-3 higher than what the menu shows. For example: the breakfast burrito on the menu shows $11.95, when ordering at the register, it was $12.95. We also ordered a mix berry smoothie (24oz) and cup display price shows $7.75 but the gentleman rung up $7 + additional $3 (for same) item on receipt. I didn't catch it until after we were leaving. Overall, food was decent and we didn't have the worst experience but most likely won't be back for another visit. read more

Parking: Easy, open, free street parking I ordered the turkey bacon breakfast burrito. As soon as it came out, I took a bite. To me, this was bland and it didn't have enough bacon to stand out. It came with a little salsa which was a good topping but there wasn't much. They give you a small container for a full burrito but it should at least be two small containers. My wife and I love this place. This coffee is top notch and it has the vibe of a family run business with happy staff that seem to be taken care of very well. The interior is spacious and cozy with proper AC in the summer and a nice outdoor patio as well. Free water and wifi and clean bathrooms are a big bonus and it seems to be very open to those working on their computers and putting in "office hours" haha. There are always creatives working, but because there is ample space it never feels too crowded with "remote workers." The kitchen here is pretty great as well. Delicious. We buy our coffee beans from this spot when we can. Our only complaint is that they are closed on Mondays and we constantly forget that fact and have showed up several times on a Monday. What can we say, for the price and the vibe this is our favorite spot and we're yet to find a spot in the area we like nearly as much. I got the iced strawberry mocha with only 1 espresso shot because I like my sweet coffee drinks and the strawberry mocha combo is so good, it's like a chocolate covered strawberry.
