Decided to try out a new place today. We walked up to Avocado's Food at Ontario Mills and sampled the Guac and Corn. Both very yummy. We looked over the menu and decided to try a few things. One of my daughter's got the Protein Toast. It had whole wheat bread with guacamole, egg, and seasonings. It was tasty and filling for a small meal. The Salmon Sandwich. It had had salmon, guacamole, tomatoes, and feta cheese. Very good all around. Everything is made fresh and toasted there. The workers were very kind. They said they had just opened a few weeks ago and hoped to get the word around. Spread the word and support local business.

I was skeptical of trying any new food combinations from the mall but Avocado's is different! Annie the chef made my egg and avocado toast amazingly tasty! I tried her samples she had made earlier of guacamole and some esquite with chips and it was all refreshing and not heavy but impactful with delicious flavors it will make me come back! Her avocado on the toast has a great balance of tang and flavor. I recommend this place to everyone that stops by the mills!

I stopped by this spot on a whim and ended up really impressed! I ordered their tuna sandwich, a side of Mexican-style guac corn in a cup, and a refreshing iced tea/lemonade. You can tell they use quality ingredients. The corn cup was also a standout -- sweet corn, a generous amount of cheese, and a nice creamy base. It had great texture and flavor without being overly heavy. The iced tea/lemonade was the perfect drink to wash everything down -- lightly sweet, cold, and refreshing. The food wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. I just think it's crazy to be charging $17+ for one slice of sourdough toast and avocado and a few slices of hard boiled egg. It's literally just that, nothing special about it. Two slices would make more sense at that price, which is what I thought I would be getting. Maybe other things on their menu are worth it but not the toast. read more

I was very impressed by the food, and most especially, the very attentive service of the young man at this little stand at the mall. The sandwich we shared was fresh --including the guacamole it comes with-- and it was made to order before our eyes. It might look simple, but the flavors were vibrant, refreshing, and very satisfying. The lemony guacamole paired well with the smoked salmon, the feta cheese, and the crisp sourdough and chips. Pretty darn good and not-so-guilty a selection compared to the other food typically found at a mall. While the attendant prepared our food, he made REAL conversation with us. It felt like we were talking to a PERSON and not someone who is only thinking of rushing us out, which is a rarity these days, so it was truly appreciated. He had genuine pleasure in interacting with people and making the food. I am only sorry we were so happy to be engaged with him that we forgot to ask his name! I'm really disappointed with my recent experience at Avocado in Ontario Mills. I always look forward to getting something from here every time I visit the mall -- I'm practically a weekly customer. When I first arrived, there was no one at the stand, so I assumed the employee might be on break. I decided to take care of a quick return and come back. When I returned -- still 15 minutes before closing -- the employee had already closed the register and packed everything away. I kindly asked if they could make an item with avocado since it was still before 10 PM, but he refused. I even ran across the mall to the other Avocado stand, hoping someone there could help, but that employee also refused. This is not fair to customers, and it's not the right way to run a business. If your posted hours say you're open until 10 PM, then customers should still be served until 10 PM. read more

The owner of the shop was inviting, courteous and efficient! Finding an avocado and elote bar already sounds like a GREAT IDEA ! Clean work space! He wears gloves while prepping orders We got the guac corn cup with chips and it was such a great snack to walk and eat. Good size and he filled up the cup too, flavor and good portions. Where do I even start? I truly love stopping by and eating the their food! I'm a mall employee and there food court isn't the most healthiest option for me. On top of their great options and great customer service their food is sooo simply yet tasteful and colorful. Always made with the freshest of ingredients! Our orders were brought over by an employee once they were ready and I was immediately impressed by the amount of toppings and how good everything looked and smelled. My sandwich was super tasty and I especially loved the chipotle mayo and garlic herb bread! Having never tried Cheba Hut before, I immediately asked my friend where the closest location was after taking my first few bites. I'd love to try more sandwiches.

The portions here are VERY GENEROUS. It had plenty of tasty meat and lots of noodles (cooked a bit al-dente for my taste, but it's different for everyone). I think my boyfriend and I could've honestly shared one bowl and be satisfied. It was not a bad price either for a huge bowl. I might be biased since I love huge portions for an affordable price, but I thought it was a delicious bowl. The appetizers were solid, I would've liked a bit more portion as the egg rolls and shrimp rolls were a skinny. If I lived closer I would probably frequent this place a lot more, but this will probably be the place I go to when I fly out of ONT. Way better than other spots that I've tried in the IE so far.
