Pizza is cheap and the vibe is exactly what you'd expect. Had a few minutes' wait for pepperoni but wasn't much of one. Not the best pizza, but it's legit, and legit in New York means it's pretty good. The price makes it a tremendous value. All I can say is gonna love it.

This place looks like a shady hole in the wall place. I was hungry and the price for a generic piece of pizza was right. If you want toppings it's under $3. The two gentlemen were distracted by their cash register so I had to wait for them to finish. Another person was ahead of me so after he paid (cash only a sign says) they took my order. The pulled a slice from under the counter. It was warm but not very hot. I didn't care since I was so hungry. The crust was generic, slightly chewy, and thin but not crispy. There was a lot of cheese. The sauce was not overpowering. And it staved off the hunger for a few hours.

Cannot believe this is pretty close to my job and that I can grab a couple of slices to go for $1.50 each per cheese slice!!! What an amazing deal! I got 2 slices to go today and I can definitely taste the freshness of the cheese! It was so cheesy and tasty! It was not stiff or overly crunchy. Each bite of the pizza came off easily without any work on my teeth. I love this place so much that I'm going to be visiting it even more. Place is very clean and well maintained too. Staff is friendly and fast service.

Worst sushi ever! Just kidding. It's fresh pizza for $1.50, just as one should expect to buy at $1.50 Fresh Pizza. For the price of four cheese slices you can go exactly 128 feet south to the "fancy" place for one slice of pizza. That's if you need the flavors of truffle oil and spinach pesto and whipped ricotta. But if you just need the flavors of grease and cheese and oil and crust and garlic salt and crushed red peppers and oregano and tomato sauce, this place really delivers*. *They don't really deliver. It used to be 99 cents. Thanks, Obama.

I came in here last Sunday late afternoon for a snack before I got on the subway home. I ordered only one slice. It was a decent size and not too much cheese or sauce.

The best 99 cent I ever spent for anything in years. For 99 cents a slice of pizza which will beat almost any pizza slice sold in my hometown of San Francisco or any slice of pizza only place in the Bay Area. I was shocked that a 99 cent slice which tasted so good existed. Not even 7-11 can offer a cheaper slice. So this place is a great value by quality and quantity.

    Sofyan S.

Food (4/5): It's not $.99 cent any more for a cheese pizza and instead it's $1.25 but for the value it's still good. There are other options as well, e.g. Sausage, Pepperoni for higher prices up to $5. Venue (4/5): Small venue but does the job for you to stand and eat. Service (5/5): Fast and efficient service.

Couldn't leave new york without having $0.99 pizza. I stopped by this specific shop for $0.99 pizza slice. They grabbed a fresh pizza right out of the oven right when I walked in. I decided to just try cheese without adding any additional toppings. They packed the pizza slices in a box, and you can sprinkle pizzas with oregano, salt, pepper, and chili flakes. The cheese pizza was tasty for the price. The crust was crispy, the ends were a little burnt. There wasn't much tomato sauce but plenty of cheese. If you're hungry or feeling snacky and have a couple of dollars on you, then this place is for you. They have a combo that includes 2 slices and a drink. *Cash only.

A nice warm .99 cent slice on a cold winter night is always a good call. I was walking by on my way to Little Italy to pick up a box of pastries and could not resist dropping in to get a slice. Not a bad pizza, more soft and doughy for my taste as I prefer a crisper bottom on my pizza. Still, pretty tasty overall. They have a nice deal here too - two slices and a can of soda or water for $2.75. Cheese pie for $8, and a bunch others for only $10. Pretty cheap for a full pie. Cash only and there is an ATM in here if you want to pay the ridiculous fee. Also, if you don't even have a dollar bill on you for a slice you had better start carrying around a few singles for a pizza emergency!

Dollar pizza shops seems to be everywhere nowadays. It used to just be 2 Bros. But let me tell you something, even amongst the cheap $1 slices there are good, better, and mediocre. This place sadly stands mediocre. The sauce to bread ratio is off. The cheese ratio is fine. The price, it's a dollar so no comments there. I was already in the area and by area I mean around 12 NYC street blocks. But in hindsight I probably should have went to another $1 pizza shop. If you are in the area, hungry and you aren't particular about your $1 slice, this place will do. Not a fan.

When ever iam out on canal street .this is my go to pizza shop, you cant beat there prices over there for some quality pizza .usually pizza for this price wouldn't be this good ,there wouldn't be any cheese or sauce on it .but here you get just the right amount of sauce and cheese on it .the pizza isn't hard.it has just the right amount of crunchiness to it and flavor to match . This place isn't that big at all but when you can get a couple of slices for 2 dollars and change it really doesn't matter. So now and days when everything is so expensive these pizza shops are rare and if you come across one of them .take advantage of it.It is not ever day you come across good pizza for this price.

I was craving a single slice after sipping some suds nearby with buddies. I popped into 99 Cent on a Monday night, and it was pretty dead as expected. I ordered a slice of the only pie they had, a plain cheese. I don't hate a plain cheese by any means, but a pepperoni option would've been much appreciated. Anyways, the slice came out quickly on a paper plate as it should. The napkins were the classic New York razor thin sheets of paper that are good for one wipe of grease out of the beard before disintegrating into the atmosphere. As for the slice, it was crisp with minimal flop and had nice overall flavor. The shop offered oregano and other free seasonings to spruce up your slice. This pizza was definitely a good value. The server was very friendly and gave me a squirt of hand sanitizer on the house. I definitely will be back with my sights on something other than plain cheese.

You really can't beat a 99¢ slice from this place, it's so good! Perfect cheap drunk food too. The flavors of the sauce aren't cheap tasting and the slices are hot and fresh. Do yourself a favor and check it out!

It's almost impossible for me to ever be happy with Italian food outside of Italy or home. WELL, Ci Siamo proved me WRONG and I'm so happy they did. We came here for a pre concert dinn dinn. Initially I thought we'd just get some drinks and apps and keep it moving. The dishes were jaw dropping and served with the prettiest details. We ordered the tagliatelle al sugo, orechiette with ramps, pistachio and pecorino and the snap peas with bulgur, asparagus and sunflour seeds. WOW WOW WOW The sugo was uncomplicatedly made come lo fa tua nonna. None of the heavy Italian American traditions. All so delicious adding their own twist. The orecchiette was such a creative dish but also so bright, colorful and so many different textures and flavors that to perfectly together. Portions were perfectly sized and we got to share and try everything. If we would've ordered apps it would've been too much.
