Absolutely love this place! My boyfriend and I love Thai food and have tried many options in the area and this is the only place we have never been disappointed with. We have always ordered delivery and the food always arrives within the quoted delivery time. We ordered for delivery last night and let me say it's the best it has been so far. We ordered the pot stickers, creamy crab, pad Thai beef 4 stars and panang curry 3 stars. When I called they sounded a bit busy but the person who took my order was very efficient and gave me his full attention. He quoted me 30 to 45 minutes and the price. Our food arrived within 20 minutes which was awesome, and the delivery guy was very nice as well, even though he had a bit of trouble finding my apartment (it's a bit difficult and most people have a hard time). Sometimes when they are busy it does take the full time but that's fine because it's so worth it. Also, the price point is fantastic for the food you get. Speaking on the food, the pot stickers were delicious and the sauce was so good. The creamy crab was the best it's ever been, I don't know what they did differently but they were stuffed to perfection and they tasted extremely fresh. My boyfriend ordered the pad Thai and he is always very happy with it and was again as usual. My panang curry was delicious. The three stars was enough to give it a nice kick of spice but not too overwhelming. I love the flavor of the curry and the bell peppers were cooked to still have a nice crunch but not too raw either. The biggest thing for me is that we always get delivery but the presentation of the food is always great, and it's never cold or soggy, unlike many other Thai places around. It always tastes fresh and it looks like they took care to actually place the food nicely in the boxes, instead of just throwing everything in them or jostling them around while it's being delivered. Also when I bring leftovers to work from here, all my coworkers wish they had what I was eating so I would say that's a good sign too. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and we will continue to be customers here for a long time. read more

I used to live right down the street from 2C Thai and it was a frequent spot for me and my roommates. We now all live in capital hill / central district but still drive all the way out to Lake City when we want Thai. It's really worth the drive! 2C has consistently great food and a nice staff as well. I've been here for dine in, delivery, and pick up and from my memory can't recall ever running into a problem! Mmmmm! Some else said " It's not the best in Seattle. However, It's probably one of the better thai restaurants in the Northgate/Lake city area." and I'd agree with that statement. We've been here three times on a Friday night and it was packed! Pretty slow service but the staff is super friendly. It's a fairly small place and it seems like they get overwhelmed with a packed house + managing carry out orders. Well, they better get used to it because word is getting about about them. Even though I was a little leery to go in because there was only one other couple in the restaurant, the food and service was excellent. Recently discovered local Thai place that has kicked our old local Thai place's arse!! Visit #1- Date lunch (dining in-house) on the last Thursday in January when both hubby and I were both randomly working from home on the same day AND had no work meetings scheduled during the lunch timeframe. Chicken Pad Thai (3 stars) for hubby and Tofu Red Curry (5 stars) w/ brown rice sub'ing for me. Both EXCELLENT! Not greasy or oily/heavy in the least- very flavorful and tasty. Portion sizes were good (enough leftovers for my lunch the next day too, despite hubs cleaning his plate!) as was the spice levels for the stars ordered. Lots of fresh veggies in the red curry too (bamboo shoots, green beans, bell pepper, and Thai basil). Pad Thai noodles were that perfect chewy/ sticky texture with slightly crispy bits you look for in any good Pad. And only tamarind sauce made in-house, no ketchup- any Thai restaurant worth going to in Seattle these days better NOT be using ketchup, am I right?? They also had an extensive tea list and I ordered the organic white peony (aka Pai Mu Tan). For $2.95, I was expecting a mug. When they brought out a big pot, I asked for another glass for hubby and we each had at least 2 full cups of this quite aromatic brew. They take tea quite seriously here... between their tea menu and the section of decorative teaware on display, it's pretty cool. Atmosphere was also quite lovely- tastefully decorated and open/inviting. Each of our dishes was under $10- excellent value! Visit #2- Take out dinner on the first Saturday in March when we had a full day of activities and too lazy to cook. Joint was hopping at 7:30pm when I popped in to pick-up; every table and bar seat in the place was full of happy looking people :) We ordered 2 apps-- garden roll (like a Vietnamese fresh spring roll) and veggie roll (fried spring roll) and Spicy Noodle (3 stars) entree. All excellent! Full bar, too-- for those folks dining in and ready to imbibe. read more

Best Thai in Seattle. I send my hotel guests here regularly and they always return happy. Service is excellent, atmosphere is fresh and a bit upscale but not so trendy you need to put on your black frame glasses or fedora to fit in. I always go with the veggie curry's, yellow and spicy is where it's at for me. Fish specials are also a good bet, my other half hasn't been let down yet. Came here for the first time after driving by countless amounts of times on Lake City Way. The food is pretty good here with great portions. I came here during dinner time and was seated immediately with our orders taken promptly. I got the phad hhai with the crab rangoon to start with. If I could, my rating would be 4.5 stars. When we sat down and the glasses of ice water arrived smelling of bleach, I was worried that my first visit to this new restaurant could be my last. (After all, the two previous Thai restaurants in this space couldn't cut it.) Fortunately, I WAS SO WRONG! This place has only been open five days. The bleach was just a rookie mistake, but the food was awesome! Rightly or wrongly, I largely judge Thai restaurants by their Phad Thai and Tom Kah. Consequently, we ordered Phad Thai, but decided it was too warm out for Tom Kah soup. We also ordered Prik King (sauteed green beans) and Eggplant. YUM!! Everything tasted exceptionally fresh, and cooked to perfection. The beans were cooked but still crisp, and the eggplant was cooked but not overcooked into a mush. The flavors were fresh and savory, and not muddled. The Phad Thai was authentic and delicious, but was perhaps flavored a tad too subtly for my taste. While a slightly stronger flavor would have been ideal, at least they got the flavor right; so many restaurants mess with the Phad Thai sauce, by adding too much sugar, for example, or too much oil, or even ketchup. This place gets it right, in my book. The food was delectable, and 2C Thai has become my new "favorite" north end Thai food restaurant. Sadly, it is just a bit outside my typical price range; maybe a buck and a half more per entree than many other Thai restaurants. But here you get what you pay for. And I really shouldn't complain, because when they brought the bill, they said they gave us 10 percent off, as sort of a grand opening introductory deal. They added that this promotional pricing will last until September. That sealed the deal; I'll be back... even after September. read more

There is a lot of good things to say about this place. Very good food, great service and an owner that cares about the food he is serving. They sell a lot of Pad Thai and Satay all the usual things Americans order. However, the Boat Noodle, Chaing Mai and Crying Tiger are standouts. There is much more and asking the staff for their favorites has always steered me right. My only negative is I would love to hear current Thai music but that's just me. My hubby and I went Toyoda sushi but it was close and for vacation so we looked around the neighborhood to see where we might go. We saw Thai 2c bistro so we went in there to try them out. This is hands down the best Thai food I have had, not only in Seattle, but anywhere. It has an extensive menu with plenty of great options, and large portions as well. Me and my girl friend first popped in here right after we moved up here and had exhausted all the other Thai restaurants in the area, thinking we were out of luck. Then we found 2c Thai- amazing food(massuman curry, tom kha soup and Pad Woon Sen are a few personal favorites) fantastic service, nice chill jazz music in very modern, comfortable atmosphere. They also have the best hot tea you can find, which compliments the food perfectly. Not to mention a nice fully stocked bar with a good tv, if you are wanting a drink to watch a game with. This place is such a gem! I am so happy to see good quality restaurants moving into Lake City and setting up shop. My husband and I have tried so many things on their menu and they have yet to disappoint. Everything is flavorful and they don't skimp on the veggies, which I really appreciate. Their delivery service is also stellar... Much faster than they usually quote, so be prepared for that. I have almost missed them because I was putting my twins to sleep and they arrived 20 minutes early, which I am definitely not complaining about. This place is very tasty! We ordered takeout and it was quick and we enjoyed everything we ordered. We ordered the garden rolls, crab wontons, pad Thai and crying tiger. Everything was well prepared, kept well in take-out boxes (nothing was soggy or cold) and was fresh. Plus it was quick! We are three stars and pad thai which was pretty spicy (and I like spicy). My husband took me here for my birthday and despite the fact that they have only been open a week, they did not disappoint. We shared yellow curry chicken and pad see ew with pork. The rice noodles were wonderful and the meat in both dishes was tender and moist. Besides the usual standards, they have several recommended dishes that I will have to try next time I go. We have found a new local solid joint! I have dined in and carried out as well. Both have lived up to the utmost standards. The menu is nice and extensive, options for all eaters, meat, sea and vegetarian/vegan plates. Full bar with beer and wine selections help to add to the luxury of the space. Flavors of the dishes have been great and the quality of ingredients are fresh. The portions are very nice for the price point. Seattle always seems to have one phenominal thai restaurant that surpasses all the others and, right now, 2C Thai Bistro is it. We're huge fans of the Crispy Basil Chicken and the Pud Thai is perfection. You also can't go wrong with any of their drinks with 2C Yummy Yummy being our personal favorite. Go here. Eat.
