Located in a small strip mall with bunch of restaurants so be prepared that parking can be challenging specially on rush hour times. 7leaves is a chain tea/coffee spot. I personally enjoy their house coffee or their soy matcha tea. Also my husband enjoys their "secret menu" tiger tea which is pretty much Thai tea mixed with their house coffee. It's a goood caffeine and sugar rush. Their boba has good consistency which is critical for a boba store . Overall their drinks are very tasty and good. However it is also personal preference. Unfortunately it can be too sweet for my liking on some other drinks. Unfortunately unlike other boba shops 7leaves is not able to customize level of sweetness or ice. Gonna be bold and say 7 Leaves is among my favorite (top 3) boba spots in all of SoCal. Very friendly and quick service. I've heard rave reviews about the Mung Bean Milk Tea, but I'm allergic to dairy and this drink unfortunately can't be made dairy-free. However, the employees not only provided recommendations for alternatives but also kindly offered samples of their drinks & boba pearls. Settled on the Assam Milk Tea with soy milk and boba which was great - just wish I'd asked for less/no ice and 50% sugar. read more

Mung bean milk tea w boba - The boba was nice and chewy and soft but it wasn't as flavorful as I'd have liked. A bit bland. The drink kind of tastes like pandan but with that grainy beany texture like red bean. It is a bit too sweet. Maybe try it with half sugar. read more

Ummmm one of the best coffee places, ever! House coffee with grass jelly plz! The matcha, mung bean, Jasmin sea salt, and Jasmin milk tea are all also yummy. Parking at this location can suck, but if you're near the area it's a must try. 7 leaves just celebrated their 7 year anniversary and I'm so happy and exited for them! I went to 7 leaves when it first opened in this TINY little spot acrosss from Bolsa Grande High School. Wow, so many locations now (Vegas, LA, etc). Love this place. I've Had pretty much everything in the menu. This is my favorite boba chain because the drinks are 99% of the time fresh and same tasting as before. Employees at the CM location are always kind and responsive. Ordering process is easy online as in person & unless they're behind drinks come out quickly. My favorite go to are the Thai tea and milk tea w/boba or without depending on my mood lol I love their reward system as well because you'll accumulate a free drink after 45 pts and you get 7/8 depending on the size of the drink you order(reg/large). read more

I had the taro milk tea and matcha tea both were pretty good. I think they add sweetener to the matcha tea as it was sweeter than I expected, which is not a big deal. The real home run hitter here is the macrons I bought 2 in the morning the matcha and strawberry and was blown away with how light and soft they were. Just so fresh no staleness. I ended up coming back later in the evening since I staying across at the hotel and bought 1 of every macron they had with and extra matcha strawberry and pistachio to take back home with me. even tho there are already a couple within my driving vicinity, I am elated another 7 leaves is opening even closer to me! My boba quota def just shot up T-T #byewallet this strip mall is home to any foodie's paradise, and now you have some quality boba to boot too. This 7 leaves is the same as any other but there's only a few bar tables in comparison to some of their other bigger locations in GG and the other location on Harbor in CM. My favorite is their assam but I would definitely give their mung bean a try as it's a pretty unique flavor to them and they make really well. The downfall of this mall is the parking is an absolute nightmare but if you're around might as well stop by for dinner & dessert! read more

I was happy to see 7 Leaves open on a national holiday, so I popped in for a tea or two. They have social distancing measures in place and are even selling their own face masks. You place your order, pay, and they make your drink. Super simple. They are also phasing out their paper punch card rewards and I was told that they would no longer accept them after July 31st; however, that deadline has been extended to August 23rd. Going forward, rewards can be redeemed through their phone app. Download it and scan it with your next transactions to accumulate rewards towards free drinks. I was able to find a few 7 Leaves punch cards so hopefully I can still redeem them. This round, I ordered the passionfruit tea, easy sweet and a jasmine milk tea, easy sweet, no ice. I was a little disappointed that they gave me less tea because of leaving the ice out. It's not a huge deal but it was obvious. They still put out a consistent product. read more

Although this sounds silly, I left feeling lied to and with the impression of this location having dishonorable staff :(( usually the staff is very friendly, and I'm sad to say that the work ethic seems not to be the best. Please follow through on agreed-to requests and not try to trick customers! Back story: ordered a jasmine sea salt. the drink had a very thin layer of sea cream compared to their usual given amount (this was not the main issue). I asked the staff if they wouldn't mind adding more sea cream to the drink, to which they kindly agreed to adjust. Instead of following through, I heard the woman, who agreed could add more, state to the man fixing it to "just add more ice," and when I looked at the drink after they fixed it, it had the same amount of sea cream. The main issue is that they had agreed to do something reasonable for a customer, but only tried to make it seem as if the problem was actually solved instead of just following through. read more

All my drinks were ordered less sweet and less ice, all too sweet and undrinkable. $15 down the drain. Also, they don't have the good crushed ice. I've been to a dozen 7 leaves and this one has been most inconsistent. Get your shit together people!! read more

I went twice and each time was great. The drinks were consistent and came out fast. It was a nice place to hangout while waiting for dinner at next door restaurants. There's a loyalty program. I forgot to get checked for it, so I need to get on it next time! I don't know what else to say. Nothing specifically stands out. There's 7 leaves in the bay that I go to often. I guess since this is the first time I pulled Duke status at a place they deserved a review from me. Ha ha I was nervous when they replaced Tapioca Express but they're legit. Needless to say I'm a fan! We get a large Thai Tea with Boba almost daily. Occasionally, the Motcha Tea is a proper addition. My only suggestion is to get a rope line or something going. When there's a line it seems to pile up in front of the door even though there's room near the wall menu. Keep up the good work! read more

I ordered the Mint Serano coffee over ice and literally got an entire mint bushel in my coffee. The girl took super long to make it too so I don't think she knew what she was doing. It just tasted like cream, sugar and not even flavored with mint yet this was on the inside... this was not good and won't be coming back. I hope that they can train their employees how to make the drinks in the future. read more

I'm a simple person which maybe makes this review very personal. Jasmine milk tea is my go-to. To my disappointment, the friendly cashier told me they could not adjust the sweetness of my tea because it was already brewed. It is difficult to put words into this review because my overall experience was not memorable nor exciting. I won't come back. I love 7 Leaves! This location gets busy, but they're so on it! The couple times I've been here it seems like the staff has great communication with each other causing the drinks to come out super fast. I get the oolong milk tea with oat milk and grass jelly and it's so good! The employees are also very kind and caring. My friend and I were in yesterday evening and chose to sit outside the shop on the bench right out front. A drunk man kept getting close to us and tried talking to us but wasn't making sense making us both feel uncomfortable. One of the girls that worked there opened the door and asked us if we wanted to come in and locked the door for a moment until the man left. Another employee asked if we wanted to be walked to our cars (since we are two small girls) and I thought that was very thoughtful. Will be back again soon! :) read more

Excellent place to pick up Vietnamese Coffee with salted cream. Order the big bottle for coworkers the next day and everyone enjoyed it and super-productive. Quick and friendly service. I ordered a Jasmine milk tea, less sweet with boba and sweetness level was perfect. Drinks at 7 Leaves are more milky IMO but still good. Boba wasn't over cooked and chewy. Not my first choice to get milk tea but it was close to the hotel and satisfied my boba cravings. read more

I'm pretty sure everyone feels the same way I feel. Especially those who grabs coffee in the morning before work. 7 Leaves is amazing, don't get me wrong. Coffee is great, Mint Sereno is amazing (sometimes on a bad day, the drink is watered down), and etc. The only issue is how SLOW they work. The staff takes forever to make the drinks...I mean, it's already pre-made, so why does it take so long to put it in the cups and seal? Like...Foreverrrrrrrr to make a drink. The workers at this location are extremely understanding, friendly, and kind! Always so helpful and some of the nicest people ever, i would definitely recommend coning here! There's no indicator for the parking garage so on a particularly busy day, you can head all the way to the top, find nothing and navigate through the hell crowds trying to leave. Ambiance is a very casual, counter order business in the food court. There's seating there, but we ate really close by. Definitely something you have to eat immediately or the texture will not be optimal or it might get soggy. We got the tiramisu croffle and they toasted it and put it together for us there. The lady working there packed it up nicely in a to go box and we got some cookies (regular ones and almond crisp ones). It's a bit sweet, but they're dessert pastries so that makes sense. Goes great with a brewed cup of tea. Croffle had a nice semi-chewy texture and the tiramisu flavor added a bit of a coffee taste to it. Good balance of the cream and croffle. The lady who I spoke to, who I'm assuming was on the phone when I initially called, is telling me I put a request not an order and that I didn't even provide my full name (not true, I did). I'm being told that I shouldve put down a deposit and have a contract with them for the cake. I wasn't provided with any contract or a Zelle username. If I had that information I would've absolutely done it. As a business you should provide the customer with that sort of information. I had no idea and I wasn't told that thru text. Should I have followed up? Absolutely, i know that now. There's no information on the website about a contract or deposit information. Only the phone number that I first called. So they should probably update that if they have so many orders and can't keep track with request. There was a lot of deflection from the lady when i tried to explain my grievance. No apology either for the confusion. I felt crazy because I thought I might've missed their messages. Nope nothing. Only the Zelle information after I had arrive there. Luckily, they had puff pastry ready and told me they could have the cake ready in 15 min, and I really needed the cake so I agree to still do business. When I got the cake it was still warm and they told me to freeze it in my refrigerator for it to set. 15 min to get to my place and the ganache has melted off the top and custard had already spilled out from the sides. I had a long drive afterwards and not even an insulated bag could save it. It did taste good, it's too bad about communication, and everything else.

I ordered a large bulk order of half gallon milk teas and coffee from 7 Leaves Cafe for a corporate event, and it was a hit! The drinks were a perfect balance of flavor. Not too sweet and everyone loved them. I really appreciated that they offered non-dairy options like soy and oat milk. The store manager and team were incredibly nice and accommodating, making the whole process easy and smooth.
