A nice small quiet 85*. All the great deliciousness and sweat experience, minus the typical crowds you usually get in these. The service was very friendly and helpful for everything we were looking for!

Honestly, I just needed something for the family after a quick workout at 24, and I suddenly remembered this spot - it had been a while! My mission: grab my go-to raisin and nut bread, plus anything with coconut. I had some questions about the bread, and Minh was amazing - so sweet and helpful! They even let me try their new walnut crumble, which is seriously delicious. Definitely get that next time! Big thanks for the great hospitality! If you're nearby, stop by. You'll find some tasty treats and genuinely nice service.

This place is always clean and stocked when I go in which is normally on weekends. We don't come too often but this is a stop for us while in OC. Service for coffees ordered at the counter is a normal few mins wait. If you want to grab and go I suggest mobile ordering it before. Will definitely return again.

We got several pastries to try. Garlic bread was definitely my fave.. ham and cheese wasn't too great to be honest. The new strawberry danish was good.. we tried the strawberry con leche drink. It was delicious.. tastes like an agua fresca. Also had the Vietnamese iced coffee.. but they put too much ice on it. It was good though. Service was pleasant. And it was a quiet morning. Only one person sitting there on their computer. But several people were there buying. They have their tote bag on sale when u buy $30 or more. Regular price $3.99

My dear friend from elementary school lives in the City of Orange. Whenever I visit her, I like to bring some pastries to share with her and her family. Luckily, there is this 85 C Bakery near her house. Perfect! It resides in the Saddleback Plaza on Chapman Ave. It sits at the corner so it can easily be seen by people driving by. From the outside, it appears to be a smaller size bakery cafe, but it's actually quite spacious inside. Upon entry, the left side is where all the yummy pastries are for you to choose. The right side has the tables and chairs for eating and chilling. They do have a kiosk for self-ordering. During my visit, it was quite busy as it was near Lunar New Year. They have the specialty pastries in celebration of the holiday. I grabbed some brioche buns and half a dozen of variety pastries. They were all very tasty and delicious. Honestly, I am not a big fan of their cakes because they lack some sweetness, but their pastries are fantastic hands down. I didn't entertain any of their drinks, but I'll have to check them out one day. The gentleman staff behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. They were super busy, but I felt the staff during that shift did an amazing job in keeping a good pace moving the customer line along. Thank you 85 C Bakery!

Our whole family enjoys the Vietnamese coffee! The desserts are not overly sweet, they're moist and delicious, everything from the mango desserts to the coffees, teas and cakes. As you may know, the name "85°C" refers to the bakery chain's belief that 85°C (185°F) is the optimal temperature to brew coffee. Service is always above par. The place always smells "bakery fresh". It's just always a nice place to go to for us before we take the Santiago Canyon back home!

85o is a convenient spot to do homework, regular work, or just hang out while grabbing a fresh bakery item and a coffee Bakery items are made fresh throughout the day and the choices are plentiful! Whether you're in the mood for sweet or savory, you're sure to find just the right thing to snack on. Service is fast and efficient and this location also has an express drink order kiosk. The café is kept pretty clean. Bathroom is also clean, but requires a key for access.

Always fun to get some snacks and boba! Kids love the flavors to choose from and all the goodies on the tray. We didn't quite realize the actual main food items (sandwiches) were out and waited awhile til finally asking where it was and the lady at the counter told us, it was not ordered. Kinda funny as she heard us order it but never told us they didn't have, slight miscommunication. But wasn't expecting any service given its pretty much self serve.

I know this would've been great but the ice watered it down and mixed with the milk. Pure disgusting and had to throw away otherwise that's a stomach waiting to happen. I recommend ordering with no ice maybe and drink it right away.

We eat with our eyes first, we'll at least I do. So, if you see someone staring at each of the breads it's because I can't choose lol. I am totally obsessed with the Marble Taro Bread. And since I was sharing with a friend I added a savory bread. It was the perfect breakfast treat! Added bonus that everything is individually wrapped. Makes for good presents and saving leftovers if there are any.

Because it was Summer, I opted for the guava Matcha because it sounded very refreshing. I was surprised with how not too sweet and light it was, but it was still packed with wonderful guava flavor. I was more impressed that they hand whisk every Matcha drink in a bowl, but still, they deliver with speed, efficiency, and quality. My sister got the Matcha with banana and that one was very good. You can tell they use real banana. My only thing is I believe the bananas weren't ripe enough, but I know that it is hard to always have the perfect ripeness for bananas because of demand. This is definitely a grab and go establishment. There is no inside seating or bathrooms. I do advise you to use the bathroom before because all the restaurants nearby will not allow you to use the restroom unless you make a purchase. I definitely want to try the coffee drinks next time because their name has coffee in the title so I should try what they are known for by name!

The drinks were perfectly creamy esp w/ oat milk, and matcha was strong enough to hold up against all the different flavors. There's always a line out the door on a weekend afternoon, but we only waited about 20 mins and the drinks were well worth the wait. Service was super friendly and helpful w/ reccs. Note that this is more of a take-and-go spot, not for sitting inside. PARKING : There is a parking lot but it is small; might need to make some rounds before you can find a spot. The plaza gets pretty crowded during peak hours! FOOD/DRINKS : Guava Matcha Latte - sweet and refreshing, the guava doesn't overpower the matcha taste and it's a good summer drink! strawberry is prob still my go to though when I want a fruity matcha Pumpkin Matcha Latte - their fall seasonal drink! so surprisingly good - this reminded me of a pumpkin pie esp with the prominent pumpkin taste + the warm fall spices! Would def get again.

The line goes to the door much of the time, but they keep it moving, keep it kind, and the one barista keeps the drinks coming out so quickly that you barely have time to find a seat! It was pretty full again with half studier/workers and half friend pairs/ groups. We happened to come on the day they had a collab for jeans recycling with Madewell: donate a pair of jeans and get a free 12-oz drink from the "taplist" (regular menu list) plus a coupon for 15% off a pair of jeans! What a great and generous promo for a cause. Inside vinyl shops look fun. I am sad that the stationery shop is gone, but still looking forward to bringing my fam to check our the vinyl and fun drinks. The drinks: We came here just for the Fall Banoffee Latte because we crave/miss this British flavor. It was pretty good and a good sweetness, but I think toffee topping or a little more toffee flavor would've elevated it. I actually liked the free pour of Strawberry Swing even better! Green tea with strawberry flavor and a floral touch without bitterness. Had a taste of my friend's Princess Daisy green tea with mango/passion fruit, and it had a bit of bitter/tea flavor, but it grew on my friend's palate with every sip. The food: Only tried the cinamon sugar donut, which was tasty, solid regualr yeast donut topped with ?buttercream frosting and 8 or so cinnamon toast crunch pieces. The add-it-yourself maple drizzle dropper was a fun touch, though might've liked it a tad more viscous if possible (turned out looking like it rained maple syrup on the donut, heh). Plenty of parking on Orange St public parking lot or along that street. Now they charge at the lot, about $1.45 per hour (oh well, better than LA parking). Looking forward to returning! Once I spotted it, I was determined to come back soon, so when a friend wanted to get together for brunch I knew just the place!! The exterior of the café is very industrial looking but once you step inside it's very warm and inviting. Inside seating is pleasantly cozy with sturdy/solid wood furniture, and decor that makes you feel like you're in someone's home for a bite to eat and some good conversation. With good coffee. The smell of freshly brewed coffee ~ heavenly! The weather was really nice so we chose to sit in their back patio where they gave a handful of tables that are surrounded by so many mature trees and plants! I'd highly recommend sitting out there if the weather permits! So you order at the counter and your food is brought out to you when it's ready. I ordered the Caprese Bagel sandwich with a side of chicken sausage and a cofffee. The sandwich was satisfying and the coffee was great. I'm not sure if they usually come around to refill coffee or if you have to go up to the counter for refills, but no one came around outside offering any. I really would have enjoyed a second (and maybe even third) cup. Overall it is a cute spot, serving good food and coffee. The restaurant itself is cozy and decorated with a lot of generic signs you would see from Hobby Lobby (very live laugh love). It has both indoor and outdoor seating which is nice. I got a steak and eggs, and honestly the steak was awful. I've never eaten such a dry piece of meat, it was reminiscent of what people feed their dogs for their birthday. It was supposed to be medium rare, but it was definitely well done and a low quality cut of meat. The fruit was good, sweet and in season. Bread was tightly toasted and buttered but they gave me the wrong type - it took 50+ minutes to get the food so I didn't bother telling them. The eggs were cooked well, I enjoyed them with some salt and pepper. The cashier came up to us at around 45 minutes after ordering and asked us how we wanted our eggs cooked because she hadn't asked at the beginning, and my friend and I were surprised that they hadn't started until then. Overall I don't think I plan on coming back any time soon. It's pretty close to Peter's Canyon which is a great option for a post-hike meal, but there are definitely other restaurants nearby that have better service and food.
