The food was good a little bit on the pricey side. Service was great the cashier was super friendly and you can tell the food was made fresh. We ordered the spicy pork bulgolgi and spicy squid they both have the same sauce w/ cabbage and other veggies 8/10. The shrimp fried rice was meh did not have a lot of flavor and the shrimp were mini shrimps. 6/10 it was all $52. I would maybe eat here again and try something different like their hot dogs. read more

Honestly the food is very mediocre but the space is large and good for gatherings. The main reason I would say these foods were sub par is because the prices are quite high for the amount of food and quality of food.Our party of three ordered Spicy Chicken Feet, Spicy Rice Cake, and Fish Cake Soup, and we were not too satisfied. The "spicy" chicken feet were not spicy at all (for us) and the spicy rice cake was missing a lot of rice cake. The flavors of the Fish Cake soup resembled that of an udon and it wasn't too bad. I wish they had used a diverse collection of fish cakes, but they only had one kind. The interior gives off vibes of an early 2000s Korean pub, but because it was quite empty (Monday night) it was too quiet to enjoy it. The server seemed quite busy because he was alone taking care of 3 tables, but he was still attentive. If you are a fan of spicy Korean food, but you are not very good at spicy, this place might be the place for you. I think I could give it another try. Also, we went mainly for the Korean style hotdogs, but they didn't sell them anymore. Just a heads up for all the Korean hotdog fans out there. read more

Incredible late night food. I came here for dinner once and for a late night snack. Not super busy but the food was really good and affordable. The army stew was good and the bulgogi was one of the best i have had (personally i don't love bulgogi but this was my favorite). And let me tell you, their rice was soooo good. A decent Korean hotdog option in the South Bay. Tried their potato dog, where the batter is mixed with diced potatoes. You can choose the filling from several options, so I picked the half cheddar cheese, half hot dog option. I had it topped with mustard and sriracha mayo. The dog was filled with a satisfying portion of gooey cheese, and there wasn't an excessive amount of batter. The sriracha mayo was pretty mild -- I didn't need a drink to manage the heat -- but it tasted decent. Overall, a good hot dog, certainly better than Oh-K Dog in Torrance. Their other menu options are honestly on the pricier side, and I think it would be better as a snacking joint to offer them at smaller portions with a lower price. Their bulgogi tacos, for instance, are 4 for $14, when it could just as well be 2 for $7. read more

Late night Korean restaurant that serves street food. They are by far one of the best in the South Bay. Tried plenty but the quality of the food is on point. Love the jolmyun (chewy spicy noodles), their assorted fried dish with calamari, sweet potato and shrimp and their fish cake soup. Place has plenty of alcohol and is big. This is a review for my to-go order. I had a big order for 20 people, individualized and needed them labeled. We ordered a bunch of potato dogs, the mozzarella dogs, 1/2 and 1/2 dogs , hot cheetos dog, tempura, bibimbap, bulgogi tacos, korean chicken and Kim chee fried rice. We did not have anything missing, each order was labeled individually and we got plenty of condiments, napkins and eating utensils. I have a habit of peeling off batter from corn dogs b/c sometimes the batter is too thick. Not this time did I have to do that. The batter on the dog was just right, not overly battered. My co workers and I agree that each bite was a balance of batter, potatoes & hotdog/cheese. Also, some of us were concerned that the corndogs would end up soggy because we ordered our food to-go and that was not the case whatsoever. They were still warm, potatoes were just right and full of flavor! The bibimbap was real good considering it was not from a stone pot. The sauce was not too spicy (I am a sissy when it comes to spicy food b/c I cannot handle spicy), my coworkers loved the bulgogi tacos . The salsa on the tacos was different, but it was delicious. One co worker said it was a bit spicy for him (it made him sweat!) My other worker who loves spicy (and makes habenero jam) said it was just right for him. The Korean chicken does not come with rice but it was given a thumbs up, the tempura was a good amount, very good and not soggy either. Last but not least ,the kim chee fried rice (requested no cheese) was a winner too! Love their kim chee and i love kim chee! The kim chee was mouth watering and was even better in fried rice. Most importantly, the customer service was EXCELLENT. I had 3 boxes of food to bring to my car. All three workers each took a box and carried it to my car. The owner/workers were very doting and sweet. I felt like a niece and they were like my aunties and uncle (3 ladies and 1 man). The people working are of an older generation. It made me miss my dad (lives in San Francisco) and my mom (passed). They were so super thankful and even bowed b/c they were grateful for the business. I will be back and next time I plan to go there and eat there w/my family. Thank you to the workers/owner. Everything was great and we love the food. Thank you for helping me carry all the food to my car. Your help, smiles and appreciation warmed my heart! It made my day! read more

We have our own in a lovely community. I went on opening day January 22. Business is brand new but the food is amazing. We got mozzarella hot dog, Rice cake and sausage on a stick, and jjolmyun. The Misugaru (korean roasted grain) was delicious. You can taste the roasted barley and it had a nice thick consistency. The Dalgona Coffee was a perfect balance of sweetness from the Dalgona (if you don't know what that is it is a Korean candy that featured in Squid Games) and bitterness of the coffee yet creamy all in one. I would recommend having all toppings on your hotdogs. read more

This use to be the Tian Ren tea shop but now it's a smart new Korean restaurant/pub. They've got some great food options here: bogogi tacos were excellent. Also had the tteok bokki which was very tasty. We also got the army stew which h was just so so. Service was fast and efficient. read more

I went today and got their tteokbokki and the mozzarella sausage hot dog. both were so good! the teokbokki was really spicy which made it sooooo good lol and the hot dog was fresh with a light and crispy batter. the staff was friendly and the dinning room is spacious. i love korean hotdogs and this did not disappoint! besides obviously a more interesting flavor profile, what makes these t r u l y superior to american corndogs is the rice batter. the crunch is better and it's fluffier which makes the overall experience more satisfying i'm not sure which was my favorite because i love cheese so the half & half was like the best of both worlds, but i also thoroughly enjoyed the potato hotdog. and you can also stack the sauces (i didn't know that though) I'll def come back here and try their other menu items which feature a handful of popular korean street food! read more

I love that we finally have a nice Pocha spot in the Torrance area!! About time! 88 Pocha is located in Pacific Square plaza, which has a ton of parking spots. You'll walk in and will either be greeted by a worker, or you may need to flag them down if they are busy. The place is just one large room that has a lot of tables and chairs, you could probably bring a fairly large group here and be able to sit together still (~10-15 people). Everything I've eaten here has been pretty good! I really like their kimchi cheese fried rice and their bulgogi. Portions are on the smaller side, so don't expect to get super full off of the food here. Service isn't anything amazing or terrible, but if you go with someone who speaks Korean they'll be a lot more attentive. They have a lot of different alcohols that pair great with their food. I also like how late they are open until! This is a great place to come for a chill meal and drinks with some friends. read more

Had dinner here on a Saturday night w friends and it was amazing! Service was top-notch. Loved the ability to push a button to get the server's attention and he was at our side in seconds. Strongly recommend the Bibimbap and the kimchi pancake! For beverage, the grapefruit So Ju was the table favorite--very light and refreshing.
