This place is amazing! I have a REALLY high tolerance for spicy food. And this place when I tell them give me a 20/10 on spice meter they deliver! I've even been suggested this sauce made with Thai chilies and fish sauce I think that is AMAZING! And this is all from the great staff themselves. I am always ordering take out or having Food delivery apps bring me the food! When I do go in I'm always met with a smile and leave with a full happy belly! We try this restaurant for the first time today, and it was absolutely amazing! You typically go to Thai Spice on Flamingo. We didn't feel like driving the distance this time as we live up by Summerlin. I highly recommend this restaurant if you have not tried it yet. Food was spot-on very tasty well-cooked and fresh. If I were handing out food-Oscars, I would award Best Overall Restaurant for locals, and 6 other 'Best of' awards. And nominations in other major categories. For informal grub, I used to have a regular rotation of nearby asian restaurants. Now I just go here. It's not just that 9 Thai does it well -- it has a broad variety of flavors -- which means I don't need to rotate restaurants. Date night? Yep. Lunch special? Yep. Netflix takeout? Yep. Things I have tried and liked: - panang curry - tofu soup - pad see ew - cashew nut - spicy basil I get the sense that they are a young artistic group running the restaurant. This place was terrific. We started with Crab Rangoon. It was perfect. Crispy on the outside and creamy with an excellent consistency and taste on the inside. Next up was green curry with chicken. Fresh vegetables, nicely cooked, tender chicken and great flavors. Finally, we had Goong Ob Woonsen. I never ordered this dish anywhere. It is glass noodles, celery, garlic and shrimp cooked in a pot with a ginger pepper soy sauce. I would definitely order again. All the food was well presented and more than enough food for two people. The bill was very reasonable for the quality of the food. The staff was extremely nice and attentive. The atmosphere was clean and casual. Please support this restaurant, it is the best Thai food on the far west side that I have tried. read more

Literally the greatest thai food in Las Vegas (in my opinion). A of couple years ago I went on a quest to try every Tom kha soup in my area and wow, 9 Thai wins. I have eaten here 4 times and brought work friends with me each time including today. I would normally give a 5star review as brining here more than once and bring friends, I like it. Today my food and my friends food was not made correctly and the server didn't come to check on us. When she did come to check on us we explained that we were not happy with the meal. We had not eaten it. They tried to make us pay. I told her I was willing to pay half but since I didn't eat the food I should not have to pay the full check. Out took 2 additional conversation and me yelling her I will not be back or bring my friends back. She finally adjusted our bill and said she remembered me being there many times before. With all this extra hubbub we were late getting back from our lunch hour. There are other good Thai places near my office that will be getting my future business. read more

This place is so bomb! Great customer service, clean and great menu. Came on my lunch break. Lunch special which is from 11-3 I think it said and it and has great entrees to choose from. The cucumber soup is so light and very tasteful! They offer 1 entree soup AND salad with an egg roll! Very cheap in price but bomb af! I definitely recommend everyone to try it out. Been on the hunt for crab Rangoon that tastes like my favorite place back home so I couldn't resist trying this place. I was not disappointed. In love. Everything was so good, and flavorful. The chicken satay was nice and juicy and the peanut sauce complimented it so well. The soup had a kick and I usually don't handle spice well but it tasted so yummy and i just can't say enough good things. Thank you! We'll be in to dine in the restaurant soon. This place is one of the better restaurants in the city. I've been here a few times and every time I come here the food just gets better and better. I am originally from the Bay Area where the Thai food is amazing but here in LV it's hard to find consistency with many restaurants so far they have not disappointed. You can just tell that the people that own this restaurant pay attention to detail especially in the kitchen and to me this makes all the difference in the world. Their delivery is also the fastest I've ever had in the city and very consistent as well. read more

I came in for a to-go order and ordered pad Thai specifically with no green onions & spice level of 2 and told the guy twice, he confirmed and even wrote it down. They didn't even have change in the drawer...Once I got my food, I saw that it had green onions in it so I went back to get a new one. The guy barely understood English he did not listen to me and kept asking me if I was ordering 2. I get my remade food and it doesn't even have any spice like I specifically asked for. Even after remaking my food a second time it's still not right. The service is awful but at least the food is pretty good. As much as I would love to come back, I won't be due to the fact that no one can understand you or get your order right. I was on my lunch break and I didn't even get to eat. I certainly won't be eating plain noodles with no spice. Had to wait until I got off of work to eat. This place has potential to be good but not with employees that can't understand a simple order. read more

This is the best Thai food I've had outside of Thailand! The spices and flavors all taste so fresh, I'm vegetarian but have tried multiple dishes and everything is delicious. This place is one of the best Thai food restaurants I have ever been to. Each dish is packed with so much flavor. Some of our favorite dishes are the Pad Thai, basil chicken, chicken eggplant, papaya salad, Khao soi, and fried rice. Although 9 Thai and Lotus of Siam are two different types of Thai restaurants, the dishes at 9 Thai are so flavorful and reasonably priced that i think it's better overall. Order anything you want from the menu. You won't be disappointed! read more

Came here for lunch, wanted the panang curry but it wasn't on the lunch menu so the waitress recommended the red curry. I opted for that and was not disappointed!! The flavor was excellent and with their lunch special it came with an egg roll, soup, and salad! They have heat levels from 1-10 and if you don't ask then they come out at like a 3 which is a good tingle on the tongue. I wanted my panang a little spicier and the waitress was quick to bring me a pepper mix to up the spice. Overall great food and great service. I love Thai food in general & "9 Thai Kitchen" made me love it even more. Not only do their restaurant have a really nice, feels like home ambiance, but their food is honestly the best. Their Pad Thai, Eggrolls, & Thai Iced Tea are some of their delicious food that I tried the first time that I went & I had an amazing experience!
