Finally made the call to have a wasps nest removed that's been on our second story overhang for a few months. It didn't look like there was a lot of activity till recent so I knew I just had to get it done. I called their office and talked to a lady who informed me that they did not come to Temple City. Can't rate their service since they did not even come out to look and give a quote for the job. Their map indicates that they cover almost to the edge of the LA County line towards the East. Oh well, maybe I'll find someone who will at least look at the bees. read more

I had a problem with bees swarming on my steps. This guy is amazing. I called him Sunday morning at 7:00 a.m. and explained my problem. He was there by 11:00 a.m. and fixed my bee problem by noon. Nice guy. Did a great job. Reasonable price. read more

I discovered (what i thought) to be an active bee hive and found the positive reviews on yelp for A Bee Man. i called and was told that David was in the area and could be there in 45 minutes. Turned out that it was an active wasp nest and David removed it and inspected the entire exterior of the house, and discovered other hives, which he also removed. We have had a problem with yellow jackets. I tried another company last year but the yellow jackets did not leave. I called David of Bee Man about a month ago and he came out, asked several questions, explained that yellow jackets are very tenacious, set some traps and said to call if the yellow jackets returned. For a few weeks after his visit they disappeared, then reappeared a couple days before we were planning an outdoor party. I called David and in spite of having just returned from out of town, he came to our house at 8pm, re-treated the area and salvaged our party. What a horrible experience. They do not show up! After calling multiple times about the same issue and scheduling multiple appointments....no one shows up! I keep calling, and you get a very nice person tell you that they are sorry and schedules another time...and then no one shows up! The last conversation I had after they pushed my fourth scheduled appointment, I was told that they would have to schedule to come out late afternoon, and now when I called back at 5:30 PM, I was told that "late afternoon" could be 9 PM!!! I reaffirmed that we are a business and close at 6 PM, which I mentioned multiple times prior, and was told that we would have to schedule for yet another time....and it wouldn't even be the next day. In fact, she said she wasn't sure when they could come out. We aren't talking about scheduling an appointment to have your hair done....we are trying to get rid of bees from a business location!!! This bee removal company is the worst choice you could possibly make when you need bee removal. Today they kept me waiting for seven hours and they never showed up. They don't answer their phone when you call, they don't return your phone calls, they don't show up for the appointment that they made and they don't even call to say their sorry. The county of LA gave me 3 weeks to take care of bees in a wall on the back of my property. I gave A Bee Man a call. David came out answered all my questions and gave me a quote. He was all suited and ready to go and it started pouring down rain. He had to leave. But as soon as the sun came out, he was back. It turned out that the hive was at least 2 years old. He is a second generation bee keeper and clearly loves to share information about these incredible creatures so have your questions ready; it's both a service and an education in one. I am so thankful to have found David through Yelp. I am 8.5 months pregnant and had a hornet's nest suspended over my front door, and another one nestled in the Spanish tiles on my roof. I have used this company for the entire 16 years we've owned our house. We have another hive and I called at 6:50PM. I was asked if I needed them to come today (at 7PM!) or would tomorrow be ok? This company offers one of the best service I've ever had. David worked extremely hard to not only get rid of our bee problem, but also explain to us our problem. Unfortunately, our bee removal took several weeks, and many attempts to completely remove. David drove from augora hills to bellflower atleast 4 times to make sure our bees were for sure gone, with no extra charge! David is a remarkable and thorough professional. It is the second time in about 5 years that he has removed and transferred a live hive. The first was a large 3-foot hive in a tree. This last was a colony that filled all between an 8-foot section of double-sided wooden fence. Fence board opening, saving the bees, removing the honeycomb, and cleaning the remaining boards was done with care and efficiency. I called David at around 7:30 PM about a swarm that had just invaded the hollow in our oak tree to make an appointment for the next day. David was not too far away and volunteered to come out right away. By the time he arrived 20 minutes later it was getting dark. David went ahead and removed the bees in the dark and fixed a screen over the hole into the hollow. The next morning, I noticed more bees that were going in and out of another hole further up the tree. We had not noticed it the previous night due to the darkness. When I called David to explain the situation he returned the next day when there was plenty of light to fix a screen over that hole. He then inspected the tree for any other holes. There was another hole nearby but without bee activity. David went ahead and fixed a screen on that one too. When I offered to pay for his return visit, he wouldn't accept any payment. We cannot thank David from A Bee Man enough. We had a large bee hive in our front yard. It was inside of a cinder block wall behind a wire fence on our property line. The hive had been there for a long time and there were a lot of bees. We hired other people to get rid of it but it seemed very difficult to completely seal the holes. We were so desperate to remove the hive because we were having our daughter's 1st birthday party at our house on the coming weekend. Previous beekeepers were not responding our calls and we felt hopeless. Then I called A Bee Man and Dave came to our house within an hour. He was there for 3 hours and all the bees are gone. Holes were completely sealed. He also told me that he won't cash my check until next weekend because he wanted to make sure bees will be gone for the birthday party. He called me on Friday, 2 days before the party to make sure there is no bees. I was very impressed by his call and concern. Thanks to him, we had a great party on that weekend in our house.
