AAA provides a multitude of excellent services. Their DMV assistance is an absolute must if you need to transfer the title to your vehicle, the Emergency Towing Service via the AAA App is fabulous, and you could not find a nicer bunch of guys than those in the AAA Auto Repair Center in Goodyear, AZ. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They're friendly, accommodating and communicate promptly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Scheduling an appointment is easy and hassle-free.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It's a true joy dealing with them. This is undoubtedly a First Class operation. However, while this branch is fine for basic services like oil changes, tire rotations, and the like, I'm hesitant to recommend them for any complicated automotive repairs or diagnostics. I took my Jeep there for a persistent issue, and after four visits and significant expense, the problem remained unsolved. They have a tendency to throw parts at problems rather than accurately diagnose the source of an issue, despite charging high market diagnostic fees. One of my repairs was left unfinished and the vehicle had to be returned for the job to be completed. They comped me a free oil change and OEM gas cap after the mishap, but considering I'd spent nearly $4,000 in only a few months, it seemed appropriate. One more positive note. While it's not uncommon to be required to leave your vehicle for a week or more at some shops, AAA gets you in and out faster than any shop I've used in recent memory. When you're dealing with an Every Day Vehicle, alacrity is worth a great deal. read more

I broke down on the side of the road with multiple check engine warnings and had my car towed to this shop. From the start, their "diagnosis" felt more like guesswork than expertise. I was told I needed a new engine control module and that they were 99% sure it would fix the issue. $1,600 later, not only was the problem unresolved, but the same warning lights kept coming back. Over the next two weeks, I made repeated trips back while they continued to poke around without any real answers. Each visit ended the same way: no solution, no accountability--just more speculation. Eventually, they floated yet another guess, suggesting it might be a faulty water pump. At that point, I'd had enough. I had the car towed to the dealership, where the issue was correctly diagnosed within an hour as a faulty thermo control valve--and fully repaired shortly after. This shop cost me time, money, and a great deal of frustration, all because they couldn't properly diagnose a problem that the dealership handled quickly and competently. At best, this is a place for basic maintenance like oil or air filter changes. For anything more complex, they are completely out of their depth. Save yourself the headache--take your car somewhere that actually knows what they're doing. read more

I have usually had great experiences at this branch , I dropped 600 dollars for a new set of tires and any patch jobs I get done done here. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Today was the first bad experience, I work at a dealership (that no longer does patch jobs) and I explained that to my adviser Johnathan I know about cars and tires.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Yet I felt talked down to by him, the entire time I recognized the set up for the inevitable future sell, he was not being subtle bringing me to the tread broad and explaining tread depth to me like I didn't just tell him what here my job, the exact script I saw him just use on an older lady before me[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], I left without making a scene and am now waiting at a different discoutn tire branch . This place is the definition of crooked. Took truck in for a dead battery. They called with "bad news". Based on their experience had internal engine issues. I asked if they checked starter. They said no it their experience when it turns slow it isn't the starter. Took to another mechanic, replaced starter. All good. Run from this place as fast as possible read more

[[HIGHLIGHT]]A day later the low pressure light came on so we went back, got help immediately because we got there right before they opened and all the tires were low[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], he said he didn't need to reset the light, we drove it for awhile but the light is still on. No way DO NOT take your vehicle here, they did not install my bottom plate properly after oil change. Plate damaged purchased new one and they would not reimburse me. We were moving from Chicago to Palm Springs in a 1990 Ford F250 that was running great until the hills on I-17 when the truck started overheating. Thought it was the thermostat, which I changed out myself, but the problem continued. Had the truck towed to their facility figuring it was the water pump. It wasn't, and everything else checked out fine. They dug down deep on the old girl and found it was the radiator cap that wasn't sealing properly. Had us back on the road that afternoon. I can't say how much this center helped me !!! My van decided to not go into park as I was putting gas across the street! I literally drove it over here in a panic and Dennis at the service desk came out and sent a mechanic out Chandler to help see what was wrong! It was a bearing on the transmission shifter. Not only did Chandler jump on the hot Arizona floor and got the shifter back into place so we could get it into the mechanic bays! But Dennis called and ordered the part immediately! I live in mesa so being stuck or stranded in Goodyear isn't and easy hike to get your vehicle towed or even get an Uber to get picked up! They are currently fixing my van as I wait in the super nice waiting room !! I'm beyond grateful for this amazing people who helped me get my van fixed and get me on my way !! Which no mechanic has ever done. Walked me through what exactly happened and fixed with no fee. I will definitely be going to AAA again. This place is horrible in my opinion. I used them for the first time a few months ago to repair some leaks in my truck. They repaired the leaks, but I came out of it feeling like I got really ripped off on what I spent for the repairs. Flash forward a couple a months I was quoted some very reasonable numbers on an oil change and some windshield wiper blades so I decided to move forward with that for my Mercedes along with a brake inspection. The price quote for the brakes seemed insanely high and the wiper blades were about 5 times what they quoted me and a little less than double what they would have cost at a mercedes dealer. I told them i will pass on the wipers and the ridiculous price on the the front brakes. When i arrived to pick up the vehicle my car was running out front with the AC cranked. They told me that a tablet had died and they couldn't reset the oil meters until it was fixed. As i waited i started to get a bit annoyed about it and when they saw that they claimed when they called me the car wasn't done. Which is utter BS seeing the car as running with the AC thumping when i got there and it was like 45 minutes later than when i talked to them..... After all that i realized i never got my oil change sticker and when asked i wasted another ten minutes in this shop waiting for it. It wasn't hard to find the brake job and the wiper blades way cheaper in like two calls. Do better AAA read more
