The best Corvette service anywhere in CA (or beyond). These guys are the best. The GM is a Corvette racer and the team takes Corvette tuning seriously.

Stop!!! You found the RIGHT PLACE to buy a car or MOST definitely to have your car worked on or repaired!!! No question. I'm from San Jose Ca. I had my car Towed 97 miles cause I believed with my whole Heart that these guys would help fix my 2019 SS 1LE Camaro. This is my Fourth Camaro I've owned since 1984. I absolutely love Camaro's. Sometimes? Things happen. Well? My car was near the graveyard due to this world isn't perfect and things happen!!! Anthony Wong & John and the manager of the Service Department I really can't thank you ALL enough!!! You all went over the TOP to rescue my car and my out of pocket cash. I paid next to nothing to have my repairs done!!! You all are for your Customers and it shows!!! Everyone whom see this? These are your Guys and women!!! They REALLY CARE ABOUT YOU!!! Thank you Corporate also for taking care of a Chevy owner since 1984!!! I'm proud to be a member of your Chevy Family!!! A TRULY Grateful Customer!!! Jim H.

I just bought a used car from Abel Chevrolet and had a great experience. Anthony was my sales rep. He went out of his way to get me an extra key fob and a missing part on the front bumper. I highly recommend this dealership. Thank you so much. NL

Fantastic place to get your corvette serviced. It's a pleasure to have a business that knows exactly what they're doing when it comes to your vehicle (unlike other Chevrolet dealerships I've encountered). Make an appointment, tell them what you think the issue is, and they're on it straight away! I drive from both the Bay Area and/or Tracy to have them work on my Z06. Well worth it.

Great service team. Tony and the team did a great job. Tony was great in communication and helping set up an appointment.

It's hard to find a dealership that's as loyal & honest as Abel. Great service all around for sales & service.

7 comebacks and a huge service that never fixed the problems, I have all of the repair orders to prove it.

Years ago, had my Sorento there to fix and re-torque the Engine Crankshaft rods. Simple, right?…read more NOPE! wouldn't even try it. Came home with same problem as I had before. Over-torqued Piston Rods from a replaced crank. So, 4 Months ago, Son with very little money, just had a "I need to pay you to FIND BRONCO PROBLEMS" checkout needed. Said he had a pretty negative feeling afterwards. How bad? He's taking his driveline OUT of Rio, for a simple U-Joint switch-out. (I helped him take them off- 30 minutes.) "OK" If you need simple & easy Emergency work done. If you want to use YOUR Quality parts and have them installed? MANY mechanics refuse to just do "labor". Nowadays a simple CAM on your Labor/work would prove your time and efforts with parts you didn't buy yourself... NOBODY WILL DO THAT! So there's that. I haven't been back... WHY? James himself told me NOT to bring back the Sorento after it didn't run right when he got done. I did as he told me... Sorry I never left a review before. Been wrenching since I was 14 years old, 70 now, but have enough money to pay people to do it now... HARD to find a "GOOD MECHANIC" (that KNOWS what the problem is from your description-there's a tranny guy who can do that, over next to Travis!). GOOD NEWS! You can USUALLY find out what's actually wrong by being good at Googling symptoms. Takes practice! Let your finger do the walking! LOTS of "mechanics & Oil-Change services" try to UPSELL you on services. "Sometimes" Each thing they have to take off they get a PRICE FOR in a book... so if they have to take off 3 things to get to the problem...SOME will charge you for EACH part takeoff job... which is about 2-4X more expensive than it should be. You have to take all 3 parts off in a row at the same time, you SHOULDN'T get charged to take each off separately! Get other estimates from the work estimate you get. Be flexible. GOOGLE symptoms. USE Napa or other auto-parts stores for FREE Engine lights diagnostics! Take your time, do the research... unless it's simple... and you know what you need and how long it should take... Harbor Freight has several OBDII readers... which are always handy. Which all mechanics use. The cheap ones usually work for most problems. GOOGLE the Error codes, use your car make Forums... I had my Escape AC stop working... USUALLY a BIG $$$ DEAL for a mechanic! Found out it's a $13 Sensor & Monkey wrench fix. Google, then You tubed it. NAPA wanted $37 for the same part. And they needed a few days to order it! (thru eBay? They said 2-3 days too! LOL) Ask your friends for a GOOD mechanic and DROP their name when you go there! BNI networking is a good way to find a good service too! THEY have to do a good job to be referred to by OTHER businesses in their networking group. Talk to an Officer of BNI and get THEM to refer you a service/mechanic...

O-M-G!!! You will not believe what a disaster this place is...I bought a used Motor home and hired…read morea tow company to tow my RV to my regular mechanic. The owner of the tow truck said their shop worked on vehicles and suggested I just have it towed to their shop for repairs. I agreed to have them work on the motor-home. I told them: "Do whatever it takes to get it running right". They gave it a major tune-up...re-built the carburetor...replaced hoses and belts...$900 later I picked it up. I drove it about 2 miles and it died on the highway. I waited a few minutes and tried to re-start it. It re-started and I drove it about another 2 miles and it died again...(like it had run out of gas). I took it back to them. They discovered that they had pinched the fuel line when they re-installed the fuel tank. Next, I took it to a smog center to get it smogged for registration...IT FAILED SMOG. I took it back to the repair shop that had charged me hundreds of dollars for a "Major tune-up" and asked them how it could have failed. I again asked them to, "Do whatever it takes to fix the problem". They worked on it again, and after a few hundred more dollars, it finally passed smog. Next, my wife and family and I headed out on a camping trip. On the way there, the engine compartment caught fire. My family scurried out of the RV. I grabbed a fire extinguisher and got the fire out. All the engine wires have melted. After hundreds more dollars to get my family picked up from the side of the highway, and get the camper back to my town, I took the RV to a different repair shop. They told me the carburetor had leaked gas and that's probably what caused the fire. After spending another $1,500 to get the carburetor repaired and all the melted wiring replaced, I sued the original repair shop for their incompetence. The owner of Rio Vista Automotive & Towing lied in small claims court and said I had failed to get something repaired, that he had recommended I get repaired, and that his crappy mechanical work had nothing to do with the fire. I lost my case, and the court ordered me to pay a portion of the bill in monthly installments. The shop owner would not accept any responsibility for all the money he had charged me...for the worthless work he claimed to have performed on my vehicle...My best advice is...STAY AWAY FROM RIO VISTA AUTOMOTIVE & TOWING!!!

This one once charged me for a rebuilt transmission but, what they really did was go to the junk yard and buy a scrapped transmission, then clean it up and paint it and charge me $1600.
