I sincerely do not know where to start with writing this review! I wanted to write it as soon as Max, John, Alex and Victor( the names of our movers) left last night after a 12 hrs shift with us. We moved from Santa Monica to Palisades after 20 years last min as our apartment building has mold unfortunately and ran by people who don't care about the residents there and our SM community. I was very nervous and had tons of recommendations but kept going back for some reason to Adept Moving. Perhaps because the reviews I was reading were heart felt and human so after 1 week and I'm I'm not exaggerating or time to move out and research on called the number and I got Irene at the other end of it. I have to point out that from the beginning when I contacted them on the app, they got back to me right away, and when Irene picked up, she was as lovely as anyone could be very attentive, helpful and on point with all the answers we were looking and all the calculations we had thought, and some more that she explained perfectly. We decided to hire four people on a weekend to move our three bedroom apartment. We had no idea who we're going to meet. Max texted on the exact time. They said they were going to be at our location. My husband went to greet them downstairs and I had my mom and dad over to help us as well. The moment Max, John, Alex and Victor enter entered our apartment looked at first sight, like the most sweet and kind people we have met! They were very calm and you could tell by the body language that they were there to work and do their job very well and for people like me in the late 50s this will make sense because we recognize that in people who work hard. They worked nonstop and when I say nonstop, I am not exaggerating a bit. They were so well organized, so kind, so gentle and I say this because we never heard a noise on any of the furniture hitting a wall or a door nor did we ever heard a complaint from them either! They worked side-by-side with each other as clearly a team of angels! They were in such harmony and never delayed a second my mom and dad that I've seen a lot in their lives felt like they were their sons! They engaged with all of us and were so kind to all of us and they had all the reasons if they wanted to make an excuse and complain, but they never didn't ! Not a piece was scratched during this move they wrecked, and they moved everything so carefully, as if it were made out of crystal. They helped us move the stuff that we had extra to our pod with my husband, and we're so willing to go out of their way! I honestly and seriously hope that the four of them as a team pursue a career in design because they gave us some of the best ideas to rearrange our new condo and I truly hope that they pursue it! When max calculated the final bill, he was so precise so honest to the point where he calculated his 10 minute break and everyone had a smile on their faces. My mom and dad came out to say they're goodbyes and without an ounce of exaggeration, we all had tears in our eyes, and we felt like we had said our goodbyes to our family members and are holding dear to Max's number to call him for anything that we need and in a silly way and I know it sounds funny we want everyone we know to move just so they can experience this guys. I am so truly happy alongside with my entire family to have met them into have had us do our move! We believe that they brought some changing in our hearts that it will reflect through this move for many many years to follow, and I say this with confidence believing in the world energies that surround us, especially during these hard times we're all experiencing in the world I speak six languages and I always say that I can only express myself in English only 20% and I hope that these words speak to everyone who reads them and encourage you to book these guys and come and review them here like I am doing because good things and good people are rare to be found and meant to be experienced! We're all as a family beyond thankful for this experience and we feel like we have four additional people that are part of our family now! Sasha, Charlie, and another Sasha, wrapped all my furniture like conductors of a symphony! I've moved many times but these guys are the best! I had seen them moving another tenant out of my old building and noted their name as I got quotes for my move. From my first communication requesting a quote, making a reservation, to a confirmation text, the professionalism shone through. Arrival was prompt, the 3 men worked fast. They neatly stacked every box, padded and wrapped every piece of furniture with heavy blankets and shrink wrap. If you provide your own shrink wrap or tape, they will use yours instead of charging to use their own. Only started the clock after going over all the costs upon arrival and when they took a break for lunch they stopped the clock. They protected doors and door frames, and had runners for their hand carts in the heaviest traffic areas of the entry. Every piece was unwrapped with care and those pieces you don't need fully protected are still handled with care. They were all efficient, ethical, experts!
