I have eaten at and gotten takeout food from Alfredo's for 10 or more years. Obviously it was good enough for my repeat business on a regular basis. But this time I didn't get any ground beef for my tacos. I live several miles from the restaurant so it is definitely a hassle but when I called to report the mistake, I was basically called a liar. The same person who waited on me insisted that he personally packed the bag and that he put the ground beef in. He would not admit that there could have been a mistake. He did tell me that if I returned to the restaurant that he would give me an "additional amount " of ground beef, but repeatedly insisted that the beef was put in the bag. I couldn't take it any further and hung up totally dissatisfied. I will not ever again give them my business. My advice... check your takeout order before you leave the restaurant. I will from now on I will. P. S. We are now frying up ground beef that we got at Braums to go with my cold dinner. read more

I'm very glad to see that others have had the same similar experience as me with the quality of the food. I have visited Alfredo's for a very long time, including locations that are no longer open. This is the location closest to my house and I must say that my last time visiting will probably be the last time I ever visit any Alfredo's restaurant. Three times ago my mother and I visited and the food was so bland and had no seasoning that we could not enjoy our food. I was told that because I ordered impossible meat that they do not season it. My mother had real ground beef and her food had no flavor either. She was not able to eat the food which looked like slop and when we spoke to the manager on duty, she responded by saying that everyone else in the restaurant like their food so she doesn't think there is anything wrong with my mom's food. My mom essentially paid for food that had no flavor at all and that she could not eat. The same manager gave us two free entrée coupons for future visits. On my next visit, I decided to use one of my free food coupons. This is literally the only reason I went because I had the coupon. I ordered the shrimp fajitas that were so burnt that even the waiter was shocked and sent it back before I could even fully expressed to him how burnt my food was. They lacked flavor, but it was not nearly as bad as the lack of flavor during my first visit. I went again yesterday to redeem another free food coupon. I ordered the shrimp fajitas again and this time they came out and they were not sizzling, they were very warm and it was way less shrimp than they had given us my previous trip. The queso that they give you had large clumps of cheese in it that was not melted and overall the food just taste like bottom of the barrel food. Tge sopapilla itself was warm and freshly made. However, the glaze is so watery and thin that it doesn't even stick to the bread. Most of it just pools around on the plate. Our first time ever eating at this restaurant and it was a very lack luster experience. I'm not sure how else to describe the food other than white washed "Mexican" food. Everything was lacking basic seasoning and spice. The yellow cheese dip they bring to the table was watery and didn't taste like much of anything. The steak in my quesadilla was very soft but again lacked seasoning. It was the first place we suggested to eat to my father in law based on other people's reviews.. it was embarrassing that his first meal in Oklahoma was this. This is the second time I've eaten here, it's a good stop when I'm in the area for work. The only reason I walked in (both times) is due to the long lines of a restaurant around the corner. They aren't usually super busy at lunch and ALWAYS have tables open. The service is always amazing and super quick. Their menu is huge and has something for everyone, including a great lunch menu for a good price. Their chips and queso (which comes with the meal) are bomb, food is always extremely fast and delicious, and portions are very large. Great spot, highly recommend. read more

We've been eating at Alfredo's for years and it was one of the more consistent restaurants we've encountered. During Covid 19, our trips there were some of the best Tex-Mex we've ever had. Simply astounding in every way. The last three visits have been progressively worse, as far as the quality of the food. The last time we visited, my wife's shrimp quesadilla and my shrimp taco were completely bland. It was like they simply boiled some shrimp and prepared the dishes with that shrimp, rather than the seasoned and grilled shrimp we usually find on those items. Today was even worse, my chicken chimichanga contained plain, unseasoned chicken & cheese. Completely and totally bland. This was new item for me, so maybe that's the way it's supposed to be, but I won't be getting it again and I wouldn't recommend it. My wife got the asada especial and it was anemic looking and tasting and her bean side dish was completely undercooked. I've included a photo of the avocado slices that came with her meal. One thing that has been consistent in all of our visits to Alfredos is the margarita. Consistently excellent and the best I've ever had, anywhere. So, if you choose to eat the Edmond Alfredo's, you may get one of the better Tex-Mex meals you've ever had, or you may get one of the blandest, unappetizing meals you've ever had. We just left this truly disgusting, dirty, greasy place. We recieved our meal approximately 45 mins after ordering. My water had dishwashing detergent still in it !!! The food......well. besides not the way it was ordered was less than previous visits. I spoke with the "manager" (cuisuu?)... I asked why the busboys were serving food after clearing tables and she told me they were not suppose to until they washed their hands. They clearly were serving food. I asked her to turn around and tell me why the table across from me had a set up on it while there were dirty dishes still on it? No answer... I asked why the floors were greasy? No answer...I watched as she hurried back over to the other side of the restaurant ,, Where she was SERVING !! She almost slipped and fell as she went around the drink area (GREASE!!)...This establishment was closed for the weeekend just a few days ago... I no longer wonder why.. It used to be a restaurant to take visitors from out of town,,, I'm saddened that this has happened to what was a really great place. Came for a quick bite to eat and did not disappoint, right when I walked in I was greeted and seated within seconds. Staff is wearing mask and guest are required to wear them as well. Now back to the good stuff... our waitress was AMAZING!! I didn't catch her name but she never let our drinks go empty and always had fresh tortillas coming. When we ordered our food it came within 10 minutes, fresh and hot. I noticed how tentative the staff and management is there constantly checking on customers and asking how there liking the food. And to top off lunch they offered Sopaipilla either glazed or cinnamon sugar, either one you cannot go wrong. For it being the lunch rush we were in and out in less than an hour. We waiting almost 40 minutes and had not received our food. During this time, a table walked in after us, ordered and received their food before us. I grabbed the lunch Taco salad with beef and beans. All the ingredients were nicely assembled and the fajita meat was tender and well seasoned. We order two kids meals, one tamale and one chicken tenders, and the kids didn't leave anything behind. Our lunch came with chips, cheese, and salsa. I also ordered 18 flour tortillas, 6oz of green salsa, amelias queso, and an additional salsa. We are pairing that with our Gulf Coast Shrimp from Sprouts for dinner to make tacos of our own. The salsa is decent but we like to mix it with the green sauce to build a hotter salsa. The cheese sauce is perfect for the kids and the adults eat the Queso. So, for about $40+gratuity we enjoyed a nice lunch and a large pairing of salsa, cheese, and tortillas to complete an easy-peasy dinner after a long hard day of Christmas shopping. read more

Alfredo's is typically decent for dine in. Weve had a handful of "off" experiences, but the average is ok. Have gotten several delivery orders and a curbside order since the pandemic and the quality and service have utterly tanked. The last delivery seemed like they went out of their way to screw up the order. I marked gluten-free preparation all over the order and specified corn tortillas - on a dish that ALREADY COMES with corn tortillas. I have celiac disease and don't choose GF because its trendy. On my second taco, I find they've used a flour tortilla! That is literally more work than making them both corn!!! I was very sick later that night. The worst Mexican food experience I have had in a long time. Issues include... 1. Terrible margaritas - Way too weak and sweet. 2. Terrible service - Our server spoke very poor English, which meant we could not really ask questions about the food, and all of our orders came out wrong in some way. 3. Below average food - From the watery, gelatinous queso, to the clearly frozen to microwaved food, it was consistently bad. 4. Lack of pride in basic things - They brought us corn dogs and chicken strips for our kids that were seriously burned. I am not talking a bit over cooked. I am talking charred black. I don't know how long you have to leave things in a fryer to get them to look like that BUT the real issue is that multiple people (at the very least, the cook and our waitress) thought that was OK to put on a plate and bring to a customer.
