The Godfather is their answer to the Godmother sandwich at Bay Cities in Santa Monica, and while it's a good sandwich, it doesn't measure up. The Godmother just has more flavor and more meat. The meatball sub was very good, but in the 10 minutes it took to get them from the store to my friend's house, the bread got soggy. The meatballs were very tasty. The last Review I wrote for All About The bread was in January,2019 about 6 years ago. What's NEW is that they have moved NEXT DOOR to a location that is almost twice the size. Parking is available in the back of the restaurant. Two Brand new High Tech bathrooms are available. Two Huge television screens are in place to watch while you eat your food. The Food is still Amazing. How do you know that I am telling the truth. Well, First I am very honest in my reviews. Second, many if not most restaurants go out of business in the first few years. All about the Bread in their 15th year has NOW ALMOST DOUBLED Their size. I still recommend the Godfather Sub. The Italian meats are very good and the dressing has a nice unique flavor. I get the Medium peppers on mine. AND of Course IT IS ALL ABOUT THE BREAD, Baked fresh about every 20 minutes. This one is AMAZING and slightly crispy. No tough pulling and all the meat and toppings break away nicely with each bite. The sandwich itself is $9.95 and the chips are &1.95. I had leftovers because it's just so much food for one sitting. You can order it with the works or not and depending if you do; you can get mild or hot. I ordered the mild and it was plenty spicy! Probably won't be craving a Godmother for awhile now that I found this wonderful spot closer to home and with much better bread in my opinion! Staff here was great; simple and quick. I walked in, easily placed my order and gave them my name. I paid and less than 5 minutes later I was out the door, sub in hand. When I was driving away I saw this tiny robot driving around that looked like Wall-e! My vision is not so great so I tried to squint and get a good glimpse. It might be to deliver the food, first time I ever saw this concept! Super darling robot, didn't know that I'd ever say that haha.
