I like their BBQ Rib Sandwich (the deal is 2 for $3.50). It's similar to McDonald's McRib Sandwich but not overdone with the BBQ sauce. It's not consistent though- sometimes there's enough sauce, other times they're a bit skimpy. It's delicious when they get it right. I get that with their blue raspberry Icee. Reminds me of when I was a kid... I will never get Arco gas (gross, like I would ever do that to my vehicle), but I love gas station food. I don't why. It's always overpriced because of the convenience but I like the different choices and how things are pretty fresh. This Arco in particular is always super busy, whether it's in the mornings or the afternoons. Arco never takes credit and charges $0.35 to use your debit card. Since it's not credit, they don't actually go through Visa or MasterCard to complete the transaction, so there's technically nothing wrong or unethical about them surcharging you for your debit card use. I love this ARCO station. Lots of pumps so very little waiting. Full AMPM market lots of beverage choices. Hot food always fresh. A thought about the .45c fee to use your debt card. The 76 station across the street prices are about 5c more so you have to pump over 10 gallons to save money. To avoid the fee pay cash. Some people think that ARCO gas is sub par. Gas is Gas so why not save some cash and buy ARCO. Anyone who is anti BP I hate to break it to you ARCO is owned by BP. read more

This is a very clean station. The entrance and exits were convenient. We got off the freeway and were quickly met with bright lights, inviting music and a clean station. And surprise! Gas went from $3.89 to $3.75 while we were there! So good price too! If you have to stop to get gas this is the place! It was late and we had just left a fun pool day, so we were tired! But! I never thought I'd see the day when I'd be taking the time to write a bad review for a gas station during a pandemic but this interaction was so completely unacceptable that I have to say something. I was waiting patiently in line just to ask for the air to be turned on to fill a tire. I asked the large tall white employee (I'm unsure of his name) if he could turn on the air for tires and that we had already paid for gas. He immediately got aggressive and told me he "needed one word." I was super confused by this odd statement and he followed up with "the one your mother taught you. PLEASE." Not only was this ridiculously unnecessary and rude but I can't help but think he singled me out for being a woman because he was excessively friendly to the man in line ahead of me. This was totally unacceptable behavior and I don't recommend any women come into this establishment alone until they deal with this aggressive employee. read more

This is usually gas station I go to. The location is very convenient and most of the time it has the cheapest gas prices in the area. They have a lot of pumps, so the wait isn't too line to get gas. They have the basic necessities of food and drink inside and they are friendly. read more

The cashier kris was the nicest person I have ever seen working in a gas station. He greeted me on entry and held light conversation throughout my transaction. Everyone in the line seemed to have their day turned for the best with just a simple interaction with this cashier. $1.63 for a refill on a drink. 7-eleven does it for $1.00. That combined with ARCO's charge of 35 cents for using an ATM card that's an xtra 3.5 cents per gallon if you get 10 gallons is really ridiculous. Go to 7-eleven and get a hotdog ang drink for $2.43 it's a much better deal. I suggest people stop buying food and drink at ARCO. read more

Today was my second ever time in Arcadia. The first was many years ago and I don't remember much. I came here today knowing almost nothing about it but I am considering moving here for a possible job opportunity. I walked into this gas station just to use the restroom, and the cashier, Kris, just had the best attitude, personality, and energy that I have ever seen from ANYONE standing in a gas station, let alone working there. He was wishing peace, love, and blessings on every person who walked in or out. He complimented me on my moonstone earrings and then showed me his crystal. This guy had the most uplifting energy I've experienced in a long time. Seriously, this guy made me throw out all my preconceived notions about Arcadia and made me want to move there immediately. I couldn't help but think, well damn, if all the people around here are like this, Arcadia is a wonderful place to live! Thank you, Kris. You made my day. read more

High debit card charges with brand new pumps and a full c-store with all the typical stuff. Mystery meat burgers/dogs/burger dogs and who knows what all else. Definitely you should know what we are talking about here. It is very typical to be honest. Pro Tip: You cant use the air/water pump while a gas delivery is occuring. The gas truck blocks off the whole parking area where the air/water pump is at. The new pumps are kewl looking and a fun design that I havent seen anywhere else before. Be warned you have to look up to find your pump number... like way the hell up! They have little plaques with the numbers. So yeah this is pretty typical with not too much special stuff. you know the drill... read more

Hey! ARCO! You're driving your customers away with your "new credit card" system. So, in order to get gas, you slide your ARCO card in the pump. It asks you for driver's identification. Then, it will ask you for the odometer reading. Come on! I stopped at that point. Odd thing...the cashiers were just as baffled as I. I was told this new system is turning customers away. read more

I was over at this gas station and usually don't really go in to the store to buy anything. Luckily, I did though. I met the owner of this wonderfully maintained property and he made me a customer that wants to keep coming back here. His prices are reasonable and her is a very nice guy. Clearly he has pride in ownership because this station is one of the cleanest ones I have ever been to. Definitely a place to stop by when looking for some gas. read more

This is my favorite Arco of all time. This location is well lit and in a safe area of town, it's SUPER clean, always stocked, and the employees are very friendly. Some of them have been working there for years, they really give you the neighbor vibe. I have moved out of the neighborhood but still make an effort to go out of my way when I can. I've been going to this gas station for years and overall it's been good. However, recently this gas station has been declining my debit card. When I checked my bank account everything was fine but still, they continue to decline it. My parents have had the same problem. I'd be more ok with it if the cashier showed me some sympathy instead of bitterly telling me to go to the bank at 9:00 pm as if I was bothering him. Basically, it's a decent place to stop and get gas but, for now, no need to freak out if your card is declined. read more

I only pump Chevron, 76 or Shell gasoline into my 2002 Ford Ranger unless I am desperate and cannot drive to a Chevron, 76 or Shell location providing cheaper prices before running out of gasoline. I had no choice to pump gasoline at 5 West Foothill Boulevard Arcadia, Ca 91006 since it is a block from my work. Arco provides low quality gasoline and it does not take a rocket scientist to know this Bill C.! I love this place gas prices are great and they have a great selection of snacks! I want to give a special shoutout to Kris! Kris is the friendliest guy ever, he has great customer service skills, he is very polite and he always has a great attitude! A good /a lesson learned plz pay ATTENTION to the person in front of you in this case pump no 11 and had not pushed ENTER after putting HIs 20 buck$ He was Dishonest had had kept on FILLING his gas tank with our Money$ Yes, iti is all Caught on TAPE, you filled out your tank with our $40 bucks in addition to your $20.until your gas spill! Well, not all people are HONEST, mostly took ours money's and ran off after filling up HIS thank, ....No thx to this behavior & U may enjoy being recorded & watched! I have stopped at this Arco station in Arcadia regularly over the last 5 years, it's located conveniently and the prices are generally good compared to other stations. However, today was likely my last visit to this particular Arco. You have someone working there, a shorter older man, balding, that needs a lesson in people skills. Unbeknownst to me, the $20 I gave him to pay for my gas was not a real bill. I'd been given the $20 in change not 10 minutes before at another shopping visit. This man came running out into the parking lot, shouting at me to take my fake money and go, like I was some sort of criminal. It was humiliating in front of the other customers! I can understand that he wouldn't want to except the bill, I wouldn't either. But to out and out make a spectacle of your long time customer is unprofessional, and childish. I can only hope management sees this and teaches this older gentleman the proper way to handle a situation like this. I am a 56 year old man, clean cut and in no way look like I'd be passing off bad bills on purpose. I doubt I will give this station my business again anytime soon. read more

I was at the station today to get some air in my tires, I did not need any gas. I expected to pay $1 for the air machine to work, but I did not expect it to suck all the air out of my tires. I had to call AAA and wait for them to come fix my tires. It happened to another car while I was there, so hlad it wasn't me. Worse, the entire back area of the station on both sides of the building smells like sewage. It's disgusting. read more
