White Russian and maple bourbon old fashioned
    Jody W.

Amuse is in the lobby of Le Meridian Hotel; there's a separate restaurant that was closed on Sunday night, but the lobby/bar area will accommodate patrons for beverages and food. We shared 3 appetizer sized plates and had a couple of adult beverages. I had a maple bourbon old fashioned and my companion had a white russian. Strong, solid drinks. The food was OK; the best of the three dishes was definitely the burrata with pumpkin puree. Sweet and creamy. Wings were really disappointing - these were just battered and fried with a drizzle of honey mustard dressing. They were served hot, but as far as flavor goes, fell flat. The crab cake smelled rather fishy upon delivery, but was not greasy and tasted ok. The accompanying salad was the best part of the crab cake dish. Each of the items (drinks and food) were $14 or $15...so it was quite expensive for a mediocre meal. The drinks were the best part and worth the higher dollar amount.

Amuse is the restaurant located inside the le meridian hotel near MIT The bar on this particular evening had a number of local people meeting there after work which is always a good sign The bartender seem to know half the crowd and by the end of the evening knew the other half as well I have a chance to eat there two different nights and enjoy the salmon one time in the sea valley another which was a combination of scallops and pork The service was great on both occasions in the kitchen timing was as you would expect I will definitely be back

Breakfast on a Sunday at 9.30am. I think many people wait and go to brunch around this place (they have fantastic brunch places in this area). The place is inside Le méridien hotel. Nice set up ( pics added to the review) I got the "amuse breakfast" for 18$: it includes 2 eggs any style with toasts, lyonnaise potatoes and tea or coffee. I shared some pictures if interested. Since they were out of chicken sausage they gave me fruits instead which i appreciated because it was small plate of fruits and not just 2 hanging fruits on the side of the omelet. I also ordered a yogurt with granola on it, which ended up flat and expensive for what it had. It had very fee berries and it costs 9$. Pricey for what you get. When the check came, they made a mistake and charged me initially 12$ for the yogurt with granola, but correctes it after i asked. Overall, i had a good experience but i think it's a bit pricey.

I am so amazed by chef Graeham and his creativity. The new menu now in place speaks so beautifully to the summer season in Boston! The gorgeous grilled peach salad & strawberry burrata are as visually stunning as they are delicious. Every entree is playful and bright, and Chef is genuinely engaging if you'd like to speak with him while dining. I can see Chef Graeham at the healm of a true "hidden gem" in Cambridge with his menu full of love - now a must try in Central Square!

This spot is seriously a Hidden Gem. I got dropped off by Uber and was like, hmmmm..where is this place?! Thankfully, the hotel staff at Le Meridien were super helpful and walked me over to the restaurant located right by the lobby bar. This restaurant is in a beautiful open space. Now to what we care most about... the FOOD! Absolutely delicious! The new chef is a creative master who uses fresh and seasonal ingredients to build ascetically and delectable plates. He's also super friendly and will stop by your table to say hi and check in. You must check this place out. You will not be disappointed. I'll be back soon! Gnocchi and Scallops dishes were delish.

Steak tacos are - as someone else has mentioned - to die for. My filet mignon was juicy and VERY tender. I mean, it was so easy to cut apart. I think the chef and whoever is making the food are really carrying this place. The hostess and our server, Alex, were also very very nice and welcoming. My dinner partner had the foie gras dish, and it was also great! I definitely want to come back. Just do not order cocktails, haha. Maybe I'm too old, but fine dining should involve that refinement. Stop calling yourself fine dining and call it expensive food with uppity servers and no dress code. Food was amazing- so please know I would absolutely go back for the food! We had lobster bisque, the best Caesar salad (top 5), calm chowder, shrimp and clams, lamb and a fillet. During our meal just after the lovely table side service of the lobster bisque my son accidentally moved the table with his feet and the drinks flew into my food. Our server watched it happen and walked away. She turned not to help but out of disgust walked the other way! The food runner came to the rescue! But then we were charged for another drink that spilled! I don't know but when your at fine dining and you get double charged for a table moving and treated like you are an inconvenience that gets me. Plus she was clearly angry with us. Food 5 stars, service 2, price for the service we received totally not worth it. Don't waste your money to get treated badly. Sorry kitchen but front of the house ruined it.

You can immediately tell this place takes pride in what they do, especially when you see the chefs in action. Watching them work with the freshly made dough and expertly handle the pizza oven added such a fun and authentic touch to the experience. The food was absolutely incredible. The pizza was hands down one of the best we've had--perfectly crisp crust, fresh ingredients, and full of flavor in every bite. We also ordered the cucumber salad, which was refreshing, light, and the perfect complement to the richness of the pizza. Everything about our visit felt thoughtfully done, from the quality of the food to the energy of the space. If you're in Boston and looking for a spot with amazing pizza, fresh ingredients, and a great vibe, The Salty Pig is a must-visit. We'll definitely be back! I ordered the bolognese, and it was absolutely amazing. That being said... the second I saw the pizzas coming out of the wood fired oven, I immediately had food envy I'll definitely be ordering a pizza next time. What really made the experience, though, was our waitress. She had the funniest personality. She was cheeky and a little snarky in the best possible way, and somehow made the whole table laugh without ever coming across as rude. She was genuinely one of the best servers I've had in a long time, and I'd honestly go back just hoping she's working. Great food, great atmosphere, and even better service.

From start to finish, we had an amazing experience here. We ate here on Sunday. They open at 11:30am. We got in line around 11:00 am, and there were already dozens of people waiting in line for them to open . Around opening time, the owner came out and personally greeted everyone as they came into the restaurant. He was so friendly. He greeted passers-by on the street and talked with the locals. The staff was friendly and answered all our questions. They provided recommendations and offered suggestions. We sat at a window table and were able to see out at the boats. It was cute and quaint inside! I got a cup of the clam chowder. I 100% recommend it! They add dill and omit the pork, which made it so delicious! My friend and I split the fish and chips, and it was more than enough for two people. The fish was cooked perfectly and the fries (chips) were crispy without being too crunchy. We added a bit of pepper to our fish, and my goodness does that make a difference. If you visit Boston, want an awesome local establishment with delicious food and overly friendly staff, this is the place for you. This was my third visit to Boston and I'm so sad I didn't know about it sooner. It's a MUST.

Beer was warm... bad demerit again Ordered steak tips which came with three large tips on a bed of mashed potatoes, spinach . It had some sour hot nasty pepper garnish.. I wanted roasted red or green peppers with the tips instead. Steak tips were just ok and needed a marinate or side of a dipping bbq sauce or mushroom sauce or anything. Spinach, mashed potatoes needed more butter or garlic flavoring... fresh tasting but bland. Needs more steak tips too for the price tag. It was a nice bar vibe for drinks. The chicken wing lollipops I saw for an appetizer looked tasty. I left hungry for more steak tips and wanted a charcoal char on my tips .
