Sales experience was good. The service department her is terrible. Whoever doesn't the QAQC inspection when vehicles are delivered from the manufacturer is not very thorough I bought a 2025 ram with the 6.7. the block heater power cable was nowhere to be found. After three trips into the service department. They finally hooked it up. That was long enough for me to notice my DEF tank gauge was not working or reading properly. Scheduled appointment. Dropped truck. Took them 48 hrs to diagnose. They told me the part was in order and I t would be a week. My RENTAL car from the service department was free for only 5 days. They wouldn't not extend it until my truck was fixed. Called another week later. Now they are saying my part is on back order and they don't know if the part is in its way yet. The first time I was in there another guy came in there and was mad his brand new muscle car blew an tranny. The last time I was in there a woman broke down in tears saying her car had been there for 6 months. She was there because she was told her car was fixed and ready to pick up. When she got there they couldn't start it. As we speak I'm sure my truck is sitting outside in the winter with my batteries going bad in the cold. Bottom line these people are garbage, their policies are garbage, and quite frankly, I wish the place would burn to the ground. read more

Turned my truck in for what was supposed to be a one day appointment and they had it for a week without any phone call at all. Finally got a call saying they were testing my truck daily for an issue but last night someone smashed the back window and broke into it. "You can come get your truck and contact your insurance company" was their answer. After realizing my credit card was in there, I found out it was being charged on for three days before the phone call. Along with a couple thousand dollars of things stolen that my insurance doesn't cover, I had to pay a $500 deductible and pay the dealer for a diagnostic. My insurance said it should be the dealers insurance but they refused saying it's the equivalent of me being robbed at a Fred Meyer parking lot. That will be may last appointment there. read more

This place is TERRIBLE! 2013 Jeep Wrangler with a lifetime warranty. $100 deductible for any service rendered that is included in the warranty. A few months prior to this, I went in dor the check engine light. It was soark plugs. $300 not covered in warranty. As soon as I drive off the lot, stereo stops working. They "didn't touch the radio". $100 to replace it. Paid it. One month later, the CD is stuck inside. $105 just to remove the CD WITHOUT my permission. A few months later, light is on again. Orginal diagnosis was "air pressure sensor". Replaced all 5. Had to be kept overnight for a 7 AM appointment. $100. As soon as I drive off the lo, the engine light is back on. "Oil pressure sensor". Another $100. Light is still on. 2 days later of them still having my Jeep. "It's your catalytic converter". Not covered in warranty. $5ooo dollar estimate. Beought to my mechanic. It was a spark plug. Manager is "not authorized to give any refund even though he agrees with me that it's the same problem I got charges twice for.". He offers me a free oil change. I have lifetime oil changes at Lithia across town. I refuse to use them bc one time I got the "oil changed" and a week later it was COMPLETELY out of oil. I have had SO many issues with both Jeep dealers. I want a new Jeep. I refuse to give them another dime. They SUCK. read more

My truck was showing problems, so I brought it to the dealership to get it diagnosed to see what's the issue. After the service team diagnosed my truck, service people told me 'this & this' were broken, it must be fixed and it'll cost me ($2,050.00) and labor $165.00. So, I told answered "Yes" to fixing the truck. After few days later, the service team called me back and informed Mac that the issues came out last diagnoses wasn't the issues - it's the engine that has the issue. So, I asked, "then how much is it to fix this new issue?" The service person told me it'll cost me about ($10,500.00) with labor cost of $636.00! And apparently they gave me discount price of $318.00 due to my truck not being able to turn on/start. So they told me to just sell the car to auction; therefore, I towed my truck to my home, which it cost me $88.00. However, what shocked me was... when I opened my truck door & the hood, all the engine parts were layer all over neither put back together nor organized form with a proper notice of my truck's current state. read more

(Hemi with the 16 plugs) Was there at 7:00am when they opened, was out by 2:00pm. Aaron Green my service advisor was great . Honored a 10% internet service discount on my total work. I also got an estimate for future need for tires and found them to be very competitive with anyones prices on Goodyear Wrangler SRA 20" tires. Brought in my charger for a trade-in and the used car sales manager just lied to my face saying he came up on my trade but I know for a fact that he lied to my face about everything and all the info pretty much just trying to steal my car, so they can make tons of money off me didn't even try to give me a fair deal. I could write a long story here of all the went wrong, but Ill just sum it up, communication even with all the texting offered is bad or non existent. Work a paid for and asked for was not completed and my wipers were left unplugged when I picked up my auto. I had to get another appointment two weeks later take time to bring my vehicle back and went without wipers for two weeks with daily rain. I received a recall notice in the mail that indicated the recall was affecting the instruments on the panel board. So, I went back and told Michael about the recall I received. An appointment was made, and I brought the vehicle in and waited for the vehicle at the dealership until the service was complete. The mechanic came out and I was told the recall was fixed and that I should not have any more problems with the issues I was having. Iti was not resolved. They said they needed to order a part and I was then told the part may take two weeks to a month or longer to come in. I left discouraged because I was without the radio during the heart of the Christmas season. I called the service department after a month to ask if the vehicle part had come in yet. I was told the part had arrived two days prior to my phone call, so they said. I was never notified or received a phone call that the part had arrived. I waited three weeks for the appointment to have the vehicle part intalled. When I arrived for the appointment, Ray Sears was the customer service agent who assisted me. I walked in with a positive feeling; excited and happy that the vehicle was going to finally get fixed and looked forward to the vehicle running smoothly. I started to ask Mr. Sears questions and he impolitely told me to wait until he pulled up the information on the system and thereafter, he would give me his attention. His attitude came off as very antagonistic; condescending, rude and quite uppity. Mr. Sears asked for a description of what was wrong with the vehicle. The first thing I told him was that I received a recall on the vehicle in the mail. He would not respectfully address me in a professional manner. While he was on the computer, he insistently told me that there was no recall on my vehicle. Truthfully, he refused to take my word. I was telling him the truth I had the recall notice to prove it. While I continued to describe what was happening to the vehicle, I was rudely interrupted before I could finish explaining the other concerns. At that point I stood my ground, I spoke up and said "excuse me sir may I finish, you asked me to tell you what the issues were with the vehicle." After my statement it was obvious, he became even more arrogant, but he silenced himself. When I finished describing what was happening with the vehicle, his response again was, there was no recall on the vehicle, and he kept insisting that there wasn't. He was going back and forth with me argumentatively. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle after 5:00 p.m. Mr. Brent Vandenbos the Service Manager was there to assist me. He was not polite to me either. Arrogantly he gave me a description of what was done on the vehicle, and he then proceeded to tell me that because I was dissatisfied with the service and I gave the dealership a bad review, he was not going to service me any longer. I am a respectable person of credibility, and I will not candy coat how I was treated and the service I received by both men on the review. Mr. Vandenbos said that I would have to go to the Wasilla location which is an hour drive out of Anchorage District Boundaries or I would have to go to the downtown location to have any service done on my vehicle. Before I left, I addressed my concern about the part installed regarding the warranty for the work that was done. I specified if something should go wrong with the installation of the work done, I should be able to bring the vehicle back to their service department since they did the work on it. Again, he said he would not service me any longer at their location since I was not happy with their service and because I gave a bad review then, he blatantly turned around and walked away from me. I was treated like dirt by both Mr. Brent Vandenbosand and Mr. Ray Sears the instant I walked in the service department. Mr. Sears was very arrogant from the start, argumentative, rude and impolite. I could not believe how awful I was treated by both men with their statue. I know the reviews were not put in place so that managers and customer service agents can deny the customers their right to be serviced with dignity and respect that they so rightly should be entitled to. The reviews are put in place so that the company sales men and service mechanics can improve the quality of their work. I chose to purchase a new vehicle was so I would not have to deal with mechanical issues that a new vehicle or a customer should never have to deal with early on. I am a single, minority senior citizen and I believe not only was I discriminated against, but I was treated very unfairly. If the workers don't like Alaskan Native people they are working in the wrong state. If you buy a vehicle from Lithia your treated like royalty until they get your money. Your buy name brand, "Jeep" they are not qualify vehicles like they used to be. read more

By far the WORST experience with a auto dealership in all my years, and I buy a lot of cars and always use dealers for maintenance. I took my 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee in for a warranty repair of the water pump. I was told by Brendon in Service that they'd have to order the parts and they'd have them in 7-10 days. After 7-10 days I contacted Brendon and he said the parts weren't in yet. Give them a few days and they should have them. This went on for 43 day. Excuse after excuse and little to no information or communication. Messages left the advisor, Brendon, the service manager and the store manager and none returned. I finally decided enough was enough and went to the dealership only to learn the part was there but not being installed. When I questioned the service manager about the lack of communication and why the parts weren't installed on last Saturday I was assured the repair would be accomplished first thing Monday. Monday comes and my jeep still wasn't touched! Nothing they told me was truth. Finally, after pitching a fit, they finally got their act together and installed the water pump. I pick up the car, which was a total shit-show and hassled, and I find a car, which was spotless when I dropped it, off now disgusting. Not only did it have grease on the hood, grill, bumper, etc. but also grease stains on the carpets, panels, seats, etc. Like I said, never in 25 years of buying cars from more dealers than I can count have I ever seen a more unprofessional and poorly run dealership than Anchorage Jeep on 5th. I had stopped by Anchorage Chrysler Center and was greeted by Derrick Bruso. He showed me around and guided me through the available trucks that were on the lot. He also introduced me to Calvin, who gave me the details and process of purchasing a vehicle online. I was indecisive on what route to take and what vehicle to buy. For two months I came by the dealership and worked with Derrick on numerous occasions. Nowadays, its common to see car salesmen not doing enough and their only objective is to get money out of your wallet. I did not feel this way while working with Derrick. He has changed my views on car salesmen and this was by far the BEST experience I have had while purchasing a new vehicle. Not once did I feel pushed or pressured into a deal. He was always professional, had a positive attitude and was happy to answer any questions I had. He provided excellent customer service from the beginning to end of this process. My car is stuck on the glen highway and they were not willing to even help tow the car back to the shop to get it fixed. I booked an appointment for a mechanical estimate but what I got was incorrect advice, no mechanical estimate, and my van was robbed in their lot! They took no responsibility for any other mistakes and were terrible communicators. They did no reimburse me for the towing expenses which were wasted since they should have known based on my description of the van after the accident that they could not do a mechanical estimate on the van until it had been to a body shop. And I specifically asked the service manager if it was alright that I was taking the van to them before bringing it to the body shop. We even discussed it on more than one calls. Then when my van was robbed they said they wouldn't do anything and had the audacity to say "if we had known you had valuables in the van we could have locked them up for you." It was a camper van and I had told them that we lived in the van AND we had stopped by the lot the previous two days unloading multiple large suitcases of stuff from the van and we explained that was the reason for our visits so OF COURSE it was full of valuables. Took my Jeep in for a mix of routine maintenance, some recall repairs, and a broken thermostat. Overall bill of about 2500 out of pocket. No problem: it's what I expected. Initially really pleased that the work was done very quick. I had booked a rental at another agency for 2 weeks and was able to take it back 2 days later. Awesome, right???? Not so much. Long story short: picked the car up around 415 and drove to rental agency to return that. As they drove rental away we tried to restart Jeep. Most awful noises ever, engine grinding, every warning message known to man flashing across screen, e-brake activated and the smell of frying engine fluids. Car never started. Pretty sure engine is completely seized. Even the guys at the rental car place were like "whoa- your car is going to go up in flames!" So we turned around, got the exact same rental back, and had to get Jeep towed back for $90 on top of the $2500 I just paid to have my car, which drove fine before they touched it, back across town. When I called the service agent I had JUST left was told the tow was my responsibility. "Unless it's something that happened on our end." 100% sure it was something on your end.... Now I'm looking forward to the probable month or more of getting dicked around while Anchorage Chrysler finds every reason in the book of why it isn't their incompetence that destroyed my vehicle. After they put a crappy refurbished engine, or transmission, or whatever else fried machinery they find into my thus far ridiculously reliable Renegade. As I'm charged for a rental car. And the tow. And the 2500 I paid to have my car fried. And since it's now Saturday morning I truly don't expect to hear a word from them until I call Monday and they act surprised and haven't even noticed my towed in vehicle sitting there. Not to WebMD my car repairs as I'm not a mechanic, but pretty sure you're supposed to refill fluids after you disassemble to replace the thermostat. I'm almost certain they missed this key point of automotive repair! Or even worse, forgot to actually put oil in my car during the oil change portion of my requested services. The current used Jeep had security lug nuts on all 5 wheels, and I did not receive a security lug nut key with the vehicle. I was in need of an oil change on my 2021 jeep grand Cherokee and the wait to get into Xpress lube was unreal with my app stating that it would be 512 hours before I could be seen! I've been had the idea to call Anchorage Chrysler Jeep and see if they could do the oil change. I was even willing to pay for it even though I have the lifetime free oil change plan. I called Anchorage Chrysler Jeep and Robert in service answered. He said to come on down and he will take care of me... And take care of me he's certainly did. I had the oil change done and his professionalism combined with his efficiency and friendliness was absolutely amazing. I am giving this dealership 1 star because I cannot give them 0. Awful customer service from the service department, I lost Turo income for 2 1/2 months while my JEEP sat. The mechanics didn't fix the water leak (This issue was known BEFORE I purchases vehicle). My extended warranty got charged $2,000 for an a/c part, but it never fixed the actual issue. I have yet to be reimbursed from 2 defective ETVS devices they installed totaling $570. Craig the service manager has been ghosting me. Todd his manager yelled at me on the phone and demanded I bring the JEEP in for them to double check the device was removed. The service department never annotated the removal of the device, and they make it my problem? I have found a much better dealership to bring my vehicle to. I will never go back here again. Spent 2+ hours there today and left without a truck. We found a couple trucks we liked, but they refused to negotiate AT ALL from their starting price points. We had a trade-in with minor damage to the front. They offered an amount well below Kelly Blue Book, but we understood that the truck could be trouble as a re-sale if buyers checked CarFax. They low-balled us on an offer for the newly repaired truck. Worse, though...and maybe this is Dodge/Ram more than the local dealer, I don't know, ....they wouldn't consider any negotiation on their stated truck "sale" prices. The company line was that manufacturer rebates and reductions put the trucks at the lowest possible price point. To me, that's a joke. Granted, I'm not a professional in the automobile sales world; however, the whole premise of car buying (unfortunately) is that we negotiate with the sticker price as the starting point. What this place did to us was quote the sticker price from the window then tell us that X, Y, and Z price reductions had already been implemented. I could do that selling lemonade in my yard: This cup of lemonade should be $5, but I'm giving you a 'hometown' discount off and a 'nice neighbor' bonus off over my original made-up price...and now, this lemonade is $1. Aren't you lucky to enjoy a $5 lemonade for only $1? We will buy elsewhere. No one updated my wife on the status. Wife went to use women's room and a man came out of it, possibly an employee. So I bought our van in 2017, with roughly 76k miles on it. We've only put in roughly 20k. I learned we were overcharged when we bought it as it was a 2013 with so much miles, I've had several people tell me we should have only been charged $10k maaybe 12k at most. We were charged $16k and still owe $8k roughly. Fast forward to last year. So back in November. I had a faulty engine cylinder head on my van that needed to be replaced, which the service shop fought trying to cover the warranty part, and I had to pull up the bulletin and call corporate to get them to do so. It took them a month to fix. I got the van back in December. Fast forward to January my vehicle breaks down on the side of the road. With my kids in tow at night. I am a young mother with three young children ages 5, 3, and almost 2. To be stuck on the side of the road with them in tow in the cold with smoke coming out from under my hood and smoke in my cabin, I was terrified. Luckily my husband was able to come help shuttle my children home. I had to wait in the cold for roughly an hour for the tow truck. Get to the dealer with the tow, they tell me a line just popped off but it's fine. I turn on the van, and the check engine light is on. I express concern, they pull it in, clear all codes, say it's fine, and send me on my way. I literally got around the corner to Gambell. And I was stuck there, as a young adult female, alone at night, with no heat as again there was smoke from under my hood. For 1/2 an hour alone. As a young woman and mother I was terrified. And traumatized. I felt betrayed being lied to that it was safe when clearly it wasn't. Fast forward again, They get it in, again, and they end up telling me what's wrong in mechanic speak, and they want me to pay around two grand. Luckily I had a mechanic friend that understood what they were saying, and pointed out that some of these repairs seemed linked to the original repair of the faulty engine cylinder head. They then admitted it could be related. And my battery that was fine before they got it in, magically died. They still wanted me to pay 600. The shop service manager, Todd was extremely rude continuously cut me off and made what I felt was a snarky comment of if I didn't agree to the 600 that I could just pick up my vehicle. Keep in mind my vehicle was not repaired, nor was it running or drivable, and some of these repairs were believed to be related to when they repaired the engine cylinder head. I then spoke to the general manager Cory Myers. He apologized that I had to deal with Todd, and seemed nice enough, saying that he would try and see if they could work out getting me into a different vehicle and that he would make the payment on my end $300. So I paid the $300, Took it home January 31. Don hayes, the person he said he'd set me up with to try and get us in a better vehicle, seemed unwilling to make what I needed work. Fast forward to this month, I believe on the ninth. I went out to my vehicle, went to start it, and the engine turned but it wouldn't start and my check engine light came on. So I have it towed in. And they have it for two days and during those two days, they can't get any codes and it starts up perfectly for them. So today the 11th, I come in to pick it up, and they pull it up. I turn it off, I go to turn it back on, it struggles to start and the check engine light comes on. They tried to get me to take it home and take a video if that happens again, I said no that it needed to stay there until they figure out what's wrong. I also said I want a complementary rental until they're able to repair it and fix what's wrong. They said they are currently out of rentals. I requested to be notified when they have one, And to be put in one as soon as possible until they can figure out what's wrong. I was told Corey Myers was busy and unable to talk, but he did happen to calmly come down to get coffee, so of course I approached him and introduced myself. I let him know that I was still there and why, and he didn't even stand still to talk, he started walking away and while walking away told me he'd get Craig. To me, it gave the impression he was avoiding me. Craig is nice enough, but I didn't appreciate being shrugged off by the general manager after all the stress and anxiety, as well as the traumatization that I have been through due to the lack of service from the service shop. At this point, I expect that they fix my van, That I shouldn't have to pay any more out of pocket, A complementary rental until it's fixed, and if they can make a trade-in work, I expect it to be for a new vehicle, I expect them to eat the cost that's left on the van I currently own, and I expect monthly payments that work for me. Otherwise I'll just go to Ford. Never had any issues with ford. But without drastic changes (Todd really does need to be fired, and they need competent mechanics) I will never use their service shop again regardless. read more

We were looking to trade in our 2011 Tundra. She's was a great truck, but she was showing her age (and we were the second owners). My better half owned a Dodge diesel years ago, and really wanted to get back into one. We live in Fairbanks, so we of course looked there first, at Gene's Dodge. But after being told there was a $3000 additional dealer markup just for the privilege of buying a $65000+ vehicle from them (because alaska was literally the reason we were given), we decided we would not be spending money there. So we looked online, and found the exact truck we wanted at Anchorage Dodge. We called and spoke with Eric Garcia, who took our information, was very helpful with questions, and he went to work making sure our dream truck was there and ready to go. He was such a pleasure to deal with over the week we took to make our decision that we decided to make the drive down. We showed up to the dealership at 1800 on a Friday night. Eric had the truck fueled, def tank full, and ready to test drive upon our arrival. It took only a couple minutes for us to decide that was the truck we wanted. Initial negotiations were very pleasant, no games. We had one pause while we discussed trade in value. But they came back immediately with a no-nonsense, more than fair trade in value for our Tundra (and it was honestly about $2k more than we expected). That's when we were handed off to Gabe Zorea for finance. He was spectacular to deal with as well; he gave us several loan options for length, additional down payments, interest rates, all that. It made it very easy for us to look at the options and pick the one that fit best. Again, all very straight forward, no games. We walked in at 1800, and we drove off the lot with our brand new Ram 2500 diesel just 3.5 hours later. This was the easiest, smoothest, best vehicle buying experience either of us has ever had.
