My friend recommended this place since we were going to be in the area. The pizza was great! The sauce was really tasty and the crust had a good consistency. It is located in the middle of Hollywood Blvd, adjacent to the Chinese Theater, so it was convenient for hanging out with my friends. The guy at the register was friendly and also personally made our pizza. When we said the pizza was good, he seemed genuinely happy to see us having a good time. I'll visit again the next time I'm in Hollywood!

Bland... if you want to find a savory sauce to compliment the over-bubbled, open-face grilled cheese sandwich they have the nerve to call "pizza", go elsewhere. Avoid. Yelp elites and others alike take heed this is not where you need to be... today or ever. This town has too many decent options to have this on your résumé.

I had a cheese NY pizza slice for $5 and small Diet Pepsi for $2.5 as I was strolling the neighborhood. The pizza was good and the service was fast. They also sell whole pizza and their extensive menu has burgers, hot and cold sandwiches and more.

Great service, best pizza on Hollywood Blvd. Sandwiches here are amazing, too. Would recommend the Philly cheese steak or Italian sandwich. Everything made fresh to order

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!!! this place is an absolute dump. Lady at register rude,.the place smells like a musty locker room, food was terrible!! Ordered 2 turkey sandwiches, lettuce was withers and soggy, turkey was weird looking and bread was stale. We both added bacon, they charged us 4.00 each extra per sandwich and even the bacon was soggy. When I asked her about the charge for bacon, which on the receipt said 2.00+ 2.00+ per sandwich, she said it because it was per half and mind u the sandwiches are not big at all. Sandwiches had ZERO taste! We only ate because we were hungry. Otherwise, they would have gone straight to the trash. !! HORRIBLE !!

    Regular slice and garlic bread

After doing some touristy things my friends and I were hungry and wanted some lunch. We didn't want to spend a lot of money, so we decided on pizza. Upon walking in, we noticed their menu said New York Style pizza. Being from New York and being pizza snobs, we highly doubted it would be New York style pizza.... Within one bite we agreed it was very good pizza and reminded us of NY pizza for sure! I ordered a regular slice. Within my first bite I was in shock with how much it tasted like NY pizza. My friend had a pepperoni slice and agreed. I also had some garlic bread. This is where flavor was lacking. It definitely needed more garlic! Otherwise it simply tasted like seasoned bread...nothing special at all and it needed to be toasted more. Service was simple. Order your food, sit down, wait until they call your order, pick it up and bring it back to your table. Prices weren't bad at all. I would definitely return for a taste of home next time I'm visiting the area.

TLDNR; Locals should stay away, Terrible food, bad service, and a bucket for water. This is my first bad review ever. I ordered a chicken parmesan to go. I was hungry and just left the gym, and it was right across the street. I pay $10 and a tip. A kid comes up and asks for a side of ranch, and she tells him it's a dollar. So they are cheap, but I don't care. I just want my sandwich so I can take off. Sitting there, I notice they have a bucket for water... A bucket. Two guys are sitting there talking, and their order comes out she yells for a few seconds, hey you! They say oh is that our order, and she says "who else?" That lady is nuts. I get home and try to eat my sandwich, and it's like dried up chicken jerky, inedible. I throw the chicken out and eat mushy bread with cheese on it. This place stays in business because there is always new tourists there, no need to try hard, next day will be new faces that have never experienced this s' hole.

Ehhh... For the amount of money we paid I suppose it was a fair deal, but just remember typically you get what you pay (Or don't pay) for. The slice of pepperoni was large and it filled up most of the box. When I opened up the box though I chuckled a bit because the slice looked like one of those plasticky prop pizzas. It didn't taste like plastic luckily, but everything about the slice was unremarkable. Hey it's late night pizza so I shouldn't really expect much I suppose.

Great food! We have 3 kids (picky eaters) and there was something for everyone! Fish and chips Spaghetti Pizza and salad were all extremely delicious. Portions were great sizes! Highly recommend eating here!

Cocktails are slightly limited as it is not a full bar, but they do have options. The frozen Spritz was very flavorful, more fruit forward and would be perfect in a hot day. The Nonna's Medicine had a nice complexity to it with the flavors peeking their heads out at different times through the process. For food we started with the crudo, mussels and grilled oysters. The crudo was very fresh and had a lot going on with it's simplicity. Just a great bite. The mussels were decent but really didn't stand out in any way. The grilled oysters, however, had flavor and texture, with a Parmesan crust on top and the oyster and juice underneath. Very good! For pizza, they are almost like little personal focaccia pizzas, cut into four slices. We tried the mushroom, pepperoni and white pizzas. The mushroom has a garlic cream sauce and herb mix with Parmesan. You definitely get the mushrooms, as they are ample, but they do not over power the pizza. Just a good blend of flavors in each bite. The white comes with Japanese potato, fennel, mozzarella and pesto. Another really great bite with the potatoes not overpowering everything else. Finally, the pepperoni with spicy honey. The spicy honey is more like spicy marinara honey sauce, but it works. Could have used more of that as it came on the side. The pizza itself, with mozzarella and pecorino tasted great. Maybe that focaccia is the move? Overall, De La Nonna did not disappoint. Everything was very nice, and sitting on the patio when the weather is perfect is always a move. I would say to skip the mussels but, everything else, give it a try!

Initially we were going to…read moretry De La Nonna, but they were closed for a special event and we didn't know when we showed up. In the same vein, we stuck with a similar style of food and ended up at Propaganda. There was little to no wait, which was pleasant. It was a nice day and we decided to eat outside. The focaccia bread and salad came out first, and both were good. I enjoyed the crispiness of the bread, though my only qualms were that the bread was quite oily and the butter and salt were just a tad bit too salty for my liking. The Insalata Mista salad was solid. Good flavor, good dressing-to-salad ratio, and a surprisingly good portion size. As far as pizza goes, the Margherita was good. Tasty, moist, and a nice crunch on the crust. I found it to be enjoyable, though I may have enjoyed more fresh basil on this. I did find it better than the Boscaiola. I got the black truffle honey add on, and it does not go well on this pizza in my opinion. There was virtually no taste of truffle to me, and more of just an aftertaste of oily sweet honey. This was a miss. It's hard to say whether the base pizza was good without it because the flavor profile was just too overpowered by the aftertaste. The Arts District is definitely coming up with new upscale dining establishments, and I'm there for it. I think this is a solid addition. Though this is a wine bar, I don't generally drink, so my review is based purely on the food. Results of their drinks, which is quite an extensive list, may be to your liking! They do have an inexpensive three wine flight, for reference!

Food: - Sicilian: THIS was the winner of the evening! The sauce, mozz, ricotta, and pesto all came together to make a really tasty bite. I've had this same pizza at several other spots in LA, but Prime Pizza really executed it well here. So well balanced in textures and flavors, and the crust was both nicely crispy on the edges and fluffy in the center! - Spicy Pep: Solid pizza, and we LOVE when pizza places use cuppy pepperoni. It was a bit spicier than expected, so be prepared to *actually* taste the heat when you order this one! Nice name, but when I see menus of any cuisine that go out of their way to offer vegan and gluten free versions of everything, it tends to put me off. I know that's an unfair prejudice, but I always assume it's more of a healthy food place for people who complain about regular food than a real tasty joint. Well, I couldn't have been more wrong. Now that I've tried their fantastic pizza, my only sadness is that they are located in DTLA, where finding parking even to run in and pick up things to go is always difficult. So, we were here at first not for the food but because my teen son's death metal band, Institutionalized, was playing a show with the very popular super cool local metal band Diabology. But, hey, if you're there might as well grab something before you leave, right? So We got a cheese pie, which was excellent. Also tried a slice of their white pie, which was garlicky goodness. What really sold us, though, was the Sicilian pie we got. As born and bred New Yorker transplants who have been here a long time, we have never found a fantastic Sicilian. Good, sure, but never great. The pies are never thick enough as far as the breading. Here it was as close as we've ever got. And like the other pizza, the taste was excellent. And, as native New Yorkers, we know our pizza! Strongly recommended! Can't wait to get another Sicilian pie in the near future with some toppings.

The customer service was amazing and the cashier who helped me, Melissa, was so apologetic and sweet (obviously wasn't her fault), but this is just another warning to anyone who is vegan and considers coming here. I also came when they were about to close and already had to wait like 15min longer than they said so there's not even anything else open this late for me to find other food. Very disappointing and I will not be coming back for good this time. If I could give separate stars for customer service, I would give them 5 stars but this was unacceptable on the cook's part. The online ordering process isn't the easiest and the pick up process feels a bit clunky but the service is great. It's not the most relaxed dining experience but that's part of the charm.
