I had a 1:00 appointment on Monday. I checked in on time this appointment was for oil change and tire rotation only. at 2:00 I went back to check on my car. They had just started on it. Nothing had been done I ask the lady at the counter why it was taking so long she did go out and checked with the mechanic they said the air hose had to be replaced. I asked her was that the only air hose they had in the shop. She said no I asked why they didn't use a different bay she said she put three men on it and it wouldn't be long I left at 2:30 and paid full price no consideration for my time whatsoever. Would also give zero stars if allowed. Bought a used Jeep Wrangler from this place and what do ya know.... I immediately have problems. This car was 29k and it shouldn't have been allowed to even drive off the lot in the condition ive now learned it's in. It's actually dangerous and I'm thankful nothing happened when I drove home after buying. A couple days after purchasing I noticed it would get a little wobbly at certain speeds to which the salesman replied "oh it's just a jeep thing" well no... I went into a shop and they tell me they're surprised I've even been able to get around without any serious trouble... the suspension, track bar, all ball joints, are completely blown out and will cost me upwards of 2k to properly fix... how do you buy a car for 29k and immediately after a week have to spend a chunk of money to make it safe to drive? I'd expect that out of a cheap used car but again this one was expensive and now I know to never trust car salesman.. they will say any and everything to make a sale even if that means selling you a used car that could potentially kill you. read more

So this happened early this morning!! Please do not do business with Andy Mohr Kia Thank you for taking the time out of your schedule to talk to me today regarding the issue with your service department. You wanted an email from me stating the facts regarding the "service" that I received from your department. July 31, I brought my car in for 2 reasons to have my tires looked at and to get an oil change. While they were doing the inspection of my car Mike your tech brought me an air filter that had leaves in it and that was filthy. he suggested that I get a new air filter and I told him to go ahead and replace it. December 28, I brought my car in for my standard oil change. Your service tech Mike brought me 2 filters, 1 that looked like my previous air filter and the other that was a cabin filter. He told me that I needed a new air filter and that my cabin filter looked like I had a little critter living in it and that I should change it as well... I told him that I believed that my air filter was changed out the last time I came, he went to verify it and came back to me and said no it hadn't been changed, probably was changed when I purchased the car in February. SO with that being said and me trusting him I told him to go ahead and change both filters. Upon going home that evening, I pulled out my prior receipts and wouldn't you know, on July 31 you did charge me for an air filter and why Mike didn't see that when he went to "verify" it is a surprise to me considering everyone else that I have talked to since then has seen the charges in your system. I sent an email, filled out a survey and made a call. YOur service manager called me, to apologize for the mishap and told me that he couldn't be held responsible for what may or may not have happened in July and that what he could do for me was refund me the cost of the filter which was $10.00 after the discount that you gave me. I was insulted that he didn't seem to think that the loss of my business and trust was something to make a big deal about. I told him that he can keep the $10.00 because obviously you need it more than I do since you have to lie and steal from your customers. He was ok with that answer and let it go. Today 04/04, I went to Ray SKillman Kia to have them perform the services with the understanding that I wanted to be there when they pulled out any filters as now I have trust issues with service departments at dealers. They were kind enough to do so....the air filter had been changed and the cabin filter was the same filter that I was shown in December by your technician with the very same critter hole. I did bring you the actual filter and you took a picture of it, I kept the filter because again I do not trust your company. As you can imagine I am extremely upset, insulted, and disgusted with your company. I am now having to spend more time talking to you because you once again lied and stole from me. You might want to teach your technicians some honesty, because as I am sending you this email I am also putting it on my facebook, your facebook, your google review section, and the BBB, angie's list, and to the Attorney General as this is fraud and not just a simple mistake. I am curious to see what your response will be with this matter. I would like to also discuss in further detail the extended warranty that I purchased when I bought the car from you. I know that we touched on it today but I want to go into detail. Because I am sure that by now you understand why I do not want you touching my car again. I bought a new Kia at Andy Mohr, Avon, last week had a good experience until I went into the finance office. I kept telling this guy I didn't want an extended warranty and he wouldn't finish my paper work until I bought one of the three. I ended up buying the cheapest one just to get out of his office which I intend to cancel. He told me what my interest rate would be for the yrs that I wanted to finance and number of years. After looking at my contract after I got home he financed me longer than I was supposed to be plus RAISED MY INTEREST RATE. I realize I should have looked the contract over before signing it but I trusted what he told me would be what I was signing. Also after my car was ready to go no one went over the car with me and show me the options or how anything worked on the car. Went to have a hole in my interior door panel fixed and it looks like they melted the panel or put some type of goop on it. Salesman told me prior to having it fixed that they would replace the panel....just another lie. Please please please never buy a car from this particular dealership! I did a lot of research on the KIA brand and how it has changed throughout the years. So when I came to Andy Mohr I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted. Cameron greeted me and listened to what I had in mind, which at the time was another SUV to replace my 2007. We test drove one which I thought was very nice but it just didn't "do it " for me. Cameron asked a few more questions and we realized the only reason I was looking at the SUV was for the 4 wheel drive feature. He offered that Kia had sedans which were AWD and we test drove 2 different models, by the time I got into the Stinger GT2 AWD I knew I was sold! What a horrible experience, I seen the car that I wanted on car guru I called in advance to check my finance. I told them the car online looks dirty so they promised me a detail clean. They told me in advance the car had 1,400 in work done but still there was a 250 oil pan leak that needed fixed. When I drove 45 min away to be shown a car that was filthy I mean to the point of OMG what did you guys do to it they said this is what a 6,000 dollar car looks like.. First in the car fax it said detail clean on the date i arrived it was not, second the car was beyond nasty with the headliner sagging and the inside still nasty as can be, there was Chapstick melted in the back window and fishing lures still stuck in the trunk, the oil leak was worst then I thought it was and the wreck it had in the past looked worst then it did in the pictures. Today I took my Optima in for an oil change. The place was empty. It still took an hour and a half before I was out of there. I am an overly patient person, and I'm used to them being slow at this place. So, that kind of thing alone would have never prompted a review. However... As usual, they brought me a list of maintenance items (fuel system flush, etc.) they recommended. They also brought my cabin and engine air filters out for me to look at. The cabin air filter was getting a bit dirty. The guy told me it would be $21.28 to have it replaced. So, I said to change that one and not bother with anything else. When I paid my bill the labor on the cabin air filter was $28.50. While I am quite lazy, I am not stupid. I know that the only extra calories they burned replacing my filter were the ones they used pulling it off the shelf and taking it out of the box. Had I not had it replaced they would still have had to put the old one back in there since they had already taken it out to show me. It did not take $28.50 of effort to open a box with a new filter in it. (Go to YouTube and see how easy this part is to replace.) Anyone could do the entire change in 5 minutes, and the filter from the parts store would be half the price the dealership charges for the part. I guess this is what I get for being lazy. But, the part that adds a lot more chap to my you know what is that they quoted me a price to change the filter and never mentioned labor, which ended up costing more than the filter did. I've been going there for years and have always figured that sitting there for all eternity beat having to find somewhere new. But, no amount of stale cookies could make up for the fact I had to sit through an entire episode of Dr. Oz only to be swindled by those jokers! Since 1) I hate confrontation (Not to mention that I shouldn't be put in a place I have to be that way.) & 2) My brain was numbed from the hour long episode of Dr. Oz I just paid my bill and left. However, the more time passed the more annoyed I became. Enough is enough. I'm done doing business with that place. read more

I leased a 2017 Kia Sorrento from Andy Mohr in Avon in Nov 2017. After I had the car for about 2 months the key fob quit working (the key would not fold back into the fob). A few months later my Sirrus radio quit working (just the Sirrus part, not the radio). Andy Mohr has been unwilling to fix either problem. They have repeatedly said the key fob is not a manufacturer defect. Apparently they are saying I broke the fob after 60 days. The amazing thing is they were determine this over the phone - they did not even need to see the fob. I don't understand how a key refusing to rotate back into the fob is not a manufacturer defect. My Sirrus problem was also diagnosed over the phone. Since Andy Mohr would not do anything Sirrus offered to send me a radio to set on the dash. That is not what I purchase from Andy Mohr Kia in 2017. My Sorrento only has 16,000 miles. I spoke to Kia customer service, but they said they could not do anything with the dealers approval. I'm writing this review while I'm at the Avon location right now. About 5 day's ago my service engine light had come on. I called the salesman who sold me the car. He said to bring the vehicle in I took it to Autozone and had it read. The code stated the issue was in my throttle pedal. I've physically had this vehicle for about 3wks and a few days. When I purchased the vehicle the very next day the car was swerving. I called took it back to them and they said it was my sway bars not only that it made a loud noise coming from the right side. So now it's apologies and then they say well we'll fix it. Ok No problem. Now the last few weeks the car had been giving me issues as far as the way it starts and drives This morning the car shuts off while I'm driving. I had to get a jump from some random person just to see if that was the issue. It start I left my vehicle on the entire time drove the 30 mins to the dealership only for them to tell me the battery is the issue and this a normal thing. Well this battery is gonna cost you 300 dollars???? I'm like what I'm so upset because this is the second issue I've had since I've had this vehicle. So I say this isn't covered in my warranty? Well No. So now the best they could do if I want a vehicle to take home is finance this battery. Forget that I was stranded this morning... Forget that this is the second issue with this vehicle. And when the service tech said the price it was like it's just 300. Or we have a cheaper Napa battery for 250!!!???. This is Covid I have children at home that I feed, bills, to pay on top of this car payment it's the Holiday season and to just look a person in the face who just purchased a vehicle because I absolutely had too, and say it's this much. I'm upset because I just purchased this vehicle I feel like I've been taken. I feel forced to make the decision to finance this battery if I want to keep making a living and pay for the other expenses my family needs as an necessity. No matter what they say this battery probably had issues before I purchased it and I should have done more before making this purchase. One star is far too nice. I contacted this dealer about a used vehicle I was serious in purchasing. Being that I was quite a distance from this dealer, I made a offer via email. The sale representative, Mr Craft, proceeded to tell me he could sell the vehicle for my offer. I made arrangements and made the drive to purchase the vehicle. Upon arrival, I took a quick test drive, decided I would like to complete the purchase. Craft went on to play a number of classic dealer "payment games". They woud not tell me how they were coming up these numbers. Turns out they were attempting to sell me the truck for a different price than the agreed upon. Obviously much more. After my frustrations the manager, also a Mr Craft (not sure if there is relation) proceeded to tell me he didn't care about what his staff had said. He refused to sell me the truck for agreed upon price. Basically the salesman just wasted my time. Said yes to my offer to get me into the Door. Bad deal aside, They were some of the worst car sales staff I have ever seen. Rude, not polite, never welcoming. Horrible experience. Never received my registration. It'd been 4 months, no one told me why there was a delay. I called several times but no one returned my calls until I mentioned I called the BMV and complained. The sales man was nice until we asked to wait to purchase the car, then he was too pushy and negative (put down my trade-in, said we'd been in a financial mess without the new car, ECT.).
