Great looking windows once installed but misleading branding and labeling. They say they are an energy leader and pretend to be energy efficient but you can't get an energy tax credit in 2025 as they might be the only US manufacturer who didn't bother to get an IRS QMID. Thanks guys ... I am out a $600 tax credit because I guess you can't be bothered with paperwork. A brand built on empty promises and misleading claims. I'm not sure I want to buy Anlin's anymore. While I was impressed with the Del Mar window series, their 'double lifetime' warranty is not what it seems. Here are a couple of examples of things not covered: * Damage or defects caused by building settlement or structural failures of walls and/or foundations * Loss of function of hardware in Anlin Products installed in buildings located within 2 miles of the ocean or a body of salt water. Every building in California has some settlement. All those mini wall cracks in virtually any home are due to settlement. And I live within 2 miles of a body of salt water. They'll probably cite one of those 2 reasons to deny a warranty claim! no thanks! Ironic also how they name their windows after coastal communities (i.e. Del Mar, Catalina). I'm a repeat customer of Anlin. I've had their doors for years and they were great so I decided to get some windows. OC Window Experts (formally Harbor Construction) installed 12 Catalina windows with the Del Mar sound glass. I was given the option of the Del Mar screen frame but thought it looked too machanical. I'm blown away by how much these windows reduce exterior noise. The bid OC Window Experts gave me was just a few dollars away from what another company was trying to charge for a lower quality contractor grade window. Easy decision for me. read more

Just wanted to add my positive review to this group. I was having issues with windows I purchased 5 years ago. The company I purchased them from essentially dismissed me because they are no longer a distributor for Anlin and they only are responsible for installation. I pointed out this could be an installation issue and provided photos and videos. They informed me their work was only warrantied for 3 years anyway. I expressed that the whole situation with the windows was very stressful for me as I had dealt with water intrusion for years. They just dismissed me to the manufacturer, Anlin customer service. Anlin originally said I had to wait up to 6 weeks but with rain likely on the way I again expressed the urgency. They told me they would place me on a "wait list" . I did not hold out much hope for this but they did take my request seriously and sent Ryan out within 2 weeks! Ryan was professional, helpful and identified and corrected the situation quickly. After being brushed off by the original company he restored my faith in the term "customer service" , thank you so much! Prologue: The company I purchased the windows from finally decided to provide a more substantive response TODAY, over a MONTH after my initial call. We had our Anlin doors and windows installed just over 2 months ago, we could easily have posted a review on day one, they are that good. We wanted to live with them for a while, just in case anything occurred, and to gain an appreciation of how efficient etc they were. With regard to pricing, for the quality of product very competitive compared to other well known brands. The windows and doors are high quality products, I know a little about the window manufacturing process, so it was very important to us we got the quality and efficiency we desired because replacement windows is not a cheap project. We would class them at the mid price point, but feel that we got a much higher quality product. The sliding doors glide so smoothly, the windows look amazing, they are very noise and energy efficient, and the screens are top quality too. Everything is manufactured to a high quality, it's a good solid, sturdy product. We have had plenty of compliments from neighbors and a couple of passers by, we are thrilled with the finished project. We had a new front door fitted too, the installer took one look and said "Anlin, nice that's what I fitted at my house". We would not hesitate in recommending both Anlin Windows And Doors and Harbor Construction, who were the right choice for the installation. Everyone, from the owners Mike and Megan, Mitch the installations manager and the crew Biscuit, Eddie and Alexis are excellent to deal with. Anlin was able to send a tech out earlier due to a cancelation. The tech proceeded to check the glass and only the glass of the window, which obviously works as my complaint is regarding the excess heat from the window frame slider. Apperently, Anlin does not account for these failing/ being faulty and the standard service tech does nothing with this. He ended up snapping some photos to send to his boss, and told me I would hear back within the week. I ended up having to call Anlin to follow up, only to be informed that the tech came out and said the windows glass are performing to specs. Again, I had to reiterate that the frame is where my issues are and was told typically the frames are not to issues, where no one from Anlin attempted to check nor could give me an adequate explanation regarding said performance spec. I am not waiting on a call back from the field supervisor. Overall not optimistic that Anlin actually has a warranty on their windows, as I was told they usually don't cover frame issues. Given qaulity control issues and product proformance I would stear clear of Anlin and consider Hometime windows or other alternatives. read more

I purchased my Anlin French door and windows quite a few years ago and have been very happy with them. Recently we had an issue with the French door handle/lock not working anymore. I called the dealer and they told me I had a lifetime warranty with Anlin, (nice!) and would have them contact me. I received a call within a couple of days to set up an appointment for repair. The technician from Anlin, Ryan arrived today and fixed the door with in minutes. I also stated that I could not find a key for that door and Ryan said he could replace the entire locking mechanism and furnish me a new set of keys, which he did. Wow, Thanks Ryan! I just had my Anlin Sliding Doors serviced by the team of Jesse and Ryan in Long Beach. The pre-service communication was excellent. Then Jesse and Ryan showed up exactly on time, thoroughly communicated the work they would be doing and how they would do it, and then quickly set to doing the work in the most efficient way possible. This was not the easiest job, as they had to carry very heavy doors up 5 flights of winding stairs. They were respectful of my home and left a spotless work area. After looking at several different window companies we decided to have all our windows replaced with Anlin Vinyl. I didn't want retrofit windows so went with new construction and we picked the Anlin Panoramic sliders in black. The workmanship was perfect and that's saying a lot since I tend to be a perfectionist. When the patio door and screen were put in, contractor noticed a tear in the screen door. Contractor notified Anlin and in a couple of weeks had a really nice guy come out and rescreen the door beautifully. I recently went through BM windows to get my single pane windows replaced with dual pane windows. They used Anlin windows and 2 window screens came in with small tears. They immediately helped me contact Anlin to get those replaced. Anlin contacted me a couple weeks later and sent out a service tech to help me get those replaced. Anlin is a company that keeps its word. When they say lifetime warranty, it is the truth. My Anlin windows were installed in 2007. And, just recently we removed one of our windows to clean the track, sash, and glass. In the process, we noticed the wheels were no longer functioning properly, The wheels were flat, leaving the bottom sash to sit on the track, making it hard to open and close the window. I reached out to Anlin via phone and email, and Andrew responded immediately. Within one week, or less, new wheels were at our front door. The old wheels were removed by my wonderful husband Paul, and the new wheels were installed within 1 minute. Anlin is golden in my eyes. We are now waiting to have a technician come out to inspect our windows for seal failure. If the tech says the seals and glass panes need fixing/replacing, all of the replacement parts are going to be covered by Anlin. Of course, labor is our responsibility, but we are fine with that because how else is Anlin going to make money in order to stay in business. If you are considering window replacement, call Anlin. I am having an issue with one of my anlin windows. The glass is showing a clouded rainbow image. This is the second time I've had this problem. The first time they came out the took the window out to their truck and then came in and told me they would be back in about 3 weeks. After about 6 months the window is doing it again. I have called anlin and left several messages telling them I want the window replaced not repaired. Its been 3 weeks since my first attempt to get this issue resolved. If I could give them more than 5 stars, i would. After a lot of research, I ordered 2 sets of Del Mar E windows, fixed and picture, plus 1 set of Coronado casement windows. Took a few months to make them to spec, and they were ready at the beginning of Nov 2023. Since that's the start of rainy season in LA, I asked the dealer to store them for me till May 2024. No problem. Installation went perfectly in May and windows are amazing. The quality is top-notch, and the double-pane insulation has kept my house cool even through this heat wave (July 2024). One of the primary selling points is that this company offers a double life-time warranty. In other words, you as the original buyer have a life-time warranty, and whoever buys or inherits the house from you ALSO has a life-time warranty. No other window maker i know of gives this length warranty. Most are 10-year warranties. Of course, i haven't had to call on them to fulfill their warranty yet but still.....Anlin believes in its product! Double thumbs up. read more

Our house is much quieter than it was with our old windows. There was a milling scratch in the inside of the double pane glass on the patio door. Analin replaced the glass quickly. I called Anlin customer service today. I had a question regarding the height of their sliding glass door thresholds. We had one of their sliding patio doors installed this week. The threshold for the door is 2 1/4 " tall, same height has my daughter's shoes. I first noticed the height as my daughter tripped over the edge going OUT of the house. When I tried to explain the issue to Anlin representative, telling him it seemed high, high enough that I had to consciensly pick up my feet to step through. He responded, "You don't lift your feet when you walk?" "Don't you always step over a threshold?" He chose to be rude and arrogant instead of trying to answer a simole question about the threshold height. I had to ask again, he finally said "I'm not sure what the standard height is supposed to be but I think it's about 1 3/4". To that I said so 2 or more inches would be tall? His response, "I guess." Fyi code for threshold is "¼ inch in height if unbeveled or up to ¾ inch in height with a bevel not exceeding 1:2". I've just learned that all replacement, retrofitted patio doors typically are raised above the level specified by code, most seem to hover at about 1 to 1 1/2 " tall, not my 2 1/4 " height. No one tells you that it won't be to code. The man prattled on that this was the first time anyone had complained that he knew of. Odd though, that no one would complain about paying to have a trip hazard installed in their home. Any way, I was upset and surprised at how inappropriate and not forth coming the representative was. Replacement doors potential trip hazard, not to code, and no one will mention it. If you are thinking about replacing your sliding glass door, talk to your installer about expected threshold height prior to having the door installed and go somewhere besides Anlin. There are plenty of door manufacturers that make good windows and doors, have a great reputation and reliable customer service. Milgard, Anderson, Pella, Simonton to name a few. Oh, almost forgot the screens are as thin as paper, one screen had two holes in it. Cheers! read more

First this update is horribly overdue. Turns out the salesman who was so very rude represents an installation company, not the windows themselves. I have not gotten these windows installed, but I did research them on my own and had a whole presentation on how these windows worked. When it is time for new windows.
