Took my mother (visiting from PA) here for breakfast this morning (9/11/21) because of the cafe's great reviews. We were told there would be a 30 minute wait, which seemed a bit ridiculous considering there was plenty of open tables outside, however we decided to wait. We proceeded to wait almost an entire hour, as couples who arrived after us were seated outside before us. When I approached the hostess about the service, she apologized and said there was nothing she could do but put us in for a table as soon as one opened up, but informed us it could be an additional 30-40 minutes, so we decided to leave. All around, a pretty piss poor first experience at this cafe, and will definitely not be recommending. Only giving one star because zero is not an option, was not even able to try to food. read more

Update: the manager of the location reached out to me and actually had a long conversation with me about everything that happened that day. He invited my husband and I back in so that they could make it up to us. So, we gave him a chance. We checked in online, waited about 15 min and were sat. We were promptly greeted by our server and had our drinks within minutes. Our food took about 15 to 20 minutes (which is normal on a saturday) so I was pleased. We never once told anyone who we were or ask for the manager until we grabbed him at the very end of the visit just to give him a heads up. The service was excellent and the food was great. I'm hoping that what happened never happens again. For now, we will continue to go to the lake mary location since the manager was willing to reach out, talk to me, and take action in his store for this to not happen again. read more

I have been to several Another Broken Rggs and this one is very very nice. Our server, Michael was excellent. They did accommodate my request to add mushrooms and take the cheese off of my scramble with no additional charge. They also were very accommodating with my request for a nondairy creamer. Although they didn't have a substitute they offered one of their employees personal soymilk. However I opted for hazelnut flavoring which fit the bill. The Mediterranean potatoes are just a little dry but taste very good. read more

Parking is always an issue bc of the Starbucks next door and salon and other businesses. Just changed my opinion. The discontinued "corned beef hash" the only thing worth going there for. Otherwise it is just another "breakfast" place. The coffee was weak, without flavor or substance. I assume the coffee is just genetic cheap probably Vietnamese slave labor grown beans now used by the "proctor and gamble type" mass marketers? I'll not return to this place. read more

New restaurant that opened up recently in the area and it was so refreshing compared to other breakfast spots I've been lately. There's an awesome outdoor dining and bar area that gives you a quiet and serene atmosphere while enjoying a delicious and healthy meal. There is a good amount of items on their "skinny" menu that are SO delicious!! We tried the cinnamon roll as an appetizer and it was so awesome and plenty of portion for two people. While we were there we also got to sample the biscuits appetizer which was beyond anything we expected, so tasty and fresh. I highly recommend those if searching for an appetizer to start your morning. The staff was super friendly and informative about their recommendations. When we went we sat on the side of the bar that was seated on the patio, the bartenders were very attentive to us. I've seen reviews reporting negative experiences with the customer service, but I had quite the opposite and would definitely go back again. read more

My food was hot this time, but sitting at the breakfast bar I realized someone in the kitchen is making repeat mistake because the guy next to me ordered bread without butter three times and they never got it right. The manager comped him for his meal but when people go to a restaurant they want to pay but they would like their food served the way they clearly order it. Very nice outdoor eating area, but poor service. We ordered an appetizer that never made it to the table. I mentioned it to the waitress and no apology. My veggie wrap had a tough piece of sausage in it. The waitress said it must have hopped in there by mistake. In an effort to be fair, I waited until my third trip before submitting this review. Pretty simple, servers are friendly, food is above average, but the time from order to receiving food is extremely long. People came in and ordered after us and were served before us. We all expect a wait to get seated, however once the order is placed, it doesn't take that long to make french toast. And no, they weren't overly busy. Not sure why the mixed reviews but we have been here twice and both times the service has been excellent! Andrew was our server this morning and he was awesome!....totally professional, sweet and a very nice guy. Food both times have been delicious as well. Had the pancakes with andouille sausage, just yummy! Had the city grits which are creamy and filled with flavor from the bacon and cheese mixed in. The outdoor patio has a great view of a pretty park and it's just an all around nice place to have breakfast or brunch! I highly recommend it! read more

Again decide to go again with the same issue at check in. Waitlist not worth it! The still make you wait Long Time once you check in for area requested. They way they handle is horrible. They will have empty table for more than 10/15 minutes. Just had a fabulous gluten free breakfast in this cafe in Lake Mary! The food was fabulous and the staff was so friendly! I am sure I'll go back again and again! I had to try the gluten free bananas foster pancakes. OMG! Delicious! Definitely can't do that often (calories galore) but it was a real treat! The chef treated me to a piece of gf toast they now carry - best ever bread! Unfortunately only available wholesale to restaurants and such. Anyway, loved this place! read more
