My husband and I had a taste for pizza while visiting L.A., and ordered delivery from Antonios. The garlic pizza was a perfect 10. 5 stars. Undeniably delicious. I was pretty excited about the hot honey pepperoni pizza, but it wasn't nearly as tasty as the garlic pizza . We enjoyed the pizza so much, we ordered it once more before leaving the city. The service was fast too. Excellent experience overall.

Review #948 Posted on 10.10.25 We came here for takeout on Thursday the 2nd before taking off for Sofi stadium. They've got a nice selection of pizzas, some their own designs, & create your own options too. They also sell them by the slice if you don't want whole pies. This place is located below the Residence Inn right up the road from the LAX airport. The Lady fingers weren't soaked and dry on the tiramisu unfortunately, I think is an item that brought prepackaged not made fresh. The pizza I thought was really good, as was the garlic cheese sticks, which basically was garlic cheese bread. I'd order food from here again for sure and next time maybe have a beer.

Small but good

I like good pizza, I am from the East Coast and use NYC and Jersey Shore pizza as the stick I measure all others against. Antonio's definitely makes the cut. They have great crust and delicious toppings and fast friendly service. I had wings for the first time this visit and they were great too. Pastrami pizza was bomb. I love that you can get slices, it is so rare here in Cali. This place is located right next to the Embassy Suites by LAX and I go here almost every time I stay there. Shop is a little tight but they have a nice patio area outside too. Good beer selection and wines too. Go check them out. True story, when I was waiting for my food, a diner from the patio came in, looked at the staff and said, "you guys make $&@#%^ pizza" that was some high praise just out of the blue but....i agree with him.

Margherita

Decent pizza joint for a quick meal before heading to the airport. The margherita has the right amount great tasting olive oil to accompany the tomato, fresb basil, and mozzarella. Although this is a fast casual joint, it's a nice touch that the server brought the pizza to the table. The only thing I would gripe is the crust tasted dry and flavorless, almost like a froze crust. There is a nice selection of beer as well along with other dishes. With a clean dining area, clean restroom and friendly staffs, this would make a pleasant experience before facing the crowded LAX terminals.

One of the best pizza I've ever tasted, we had the creamy garlic chicken, crispy on the outside and soft in the inside, sauce is creamy not too garlicky but very tasty, we were staying at embassy suites so it's a walking distance. Place also have craft beers and they have outside seating which is great for groups. I gave them 4 stars as they are a bit slow in cleaning the tables even though we went there when they were not that busy.

14" BBQ Chicken

I originally ordered the BBQ Chicken and it was fresh and delicious and as expected. what was unexpected was how deliciously the corn complemented this familiar pizza. I had to come again the next day. Next day I ordered the Al Pastor pizza and was not disappointed! It was so good that my friends and I was making orgasmic sounds while we ate our slice. The dough was light and crisp at the right amount and the ingredient ratio was so balanced and layered in every bite. Service was quick and friendly. The space was medium and acomodating.

While staying at a nearby hotel with limited food options, I decided to take the short 5 minute walk to Antonio's. I was very curious about their Pastrami and Pickle Pizza and the Al Pastor Pizza. Luckily they do 1/2 and 1/2, so I am able to try both. First off, the place smells amazing right when you walk through the door. I knew I had chosen the right spot for dinner! The space inside is smaller but they have plenty of tables to sit at outdoors. It is nicely set up and is welcoming given the umbrellas at multiple tables for shade during the day. I didn't purchase a drink but they have a nice selection of beer along the wall to enjoy with your pizza. They also offer canned sodas and sport and energy drinks as well. The customer service was great! The two girls working the register and delivering the food were very helpful while placing my order. It is always so appreciated to have people working the front that are friendly. Plus since the space is smaller it can get a little chaotic when busy, so they make all the difference in someone returning! Thank you Ashley for the help when choosing what to order! Let me tell you both pizzas were amazing! The Al Pastor was sweet and savory with a salsa on the side that provided the right amount of spice! The Pastrami was savory and tangy and honestly just as good as I had hoped! Both pizza flavors were so delicious! I was starving when I walked over to Antonio's and after 2 slices of the 10" pizza I was already almost full. (Although, I'm positive this will be completely eaten during my flight home tonight.) This is a great option for lunch or dinner for anyone in the area!

Bbq chicken pizza, Pepperoni pizza, lemon pepper wings, buffalo wings

Their bbq chicken pizza was good but the pepperoni tasted bad for some reason, how do you mess up the most basic topping? The lemon pepper wings were really good but the buffalo wings did not push through.

We always make a stop here for a slice and a beer whenever we're heading to LAX to pick someone up. The staff is friendly, the pizza is consistently good, and they offer a good selection of beers. Place is clean. It's a solid spot.

Everything was good here. Friendly family staff. Inside dining is decent, but atmosphere/decor could use a refresh. Lots of craft beers, which is a bonus. Restaurant is located near the porte cochere of the Residence Inn.

Hawaiian Slice Was Good...

Pizza was very good. On the thin side. Ambiance was chill and the restaurant was clean and bright throughout. Price point was good. The reason for only four stars instead of five was the lady at the register was very bland. We need some energy and some smiles people! So ya they need to brush up on their customer service. I'd probably pop back in for a slice though.

Custom pizza. Fries and asian sesame wings.

I normally don't go to Pizza spots just because pizza are one of those foods that you can get anywhere and pretty much starts tasting the same. However this spot was on point. Only went here because of a group seminar that I had attended down the street. It was a large group of us and I have to say my hats of to the working staff there that day . They handle us so well, very friendly btw. There was only two people working at the time and then another jumped in by the time I ordered. I haven't enjoyed Pizza like that in a really long time. Had a custom made pizza with fresh ingredients, fries, and wings. It was so good. Im looking forward to going back there the next time I'm in town.

Cocktails are slightly limited as it is not a full bar, but they do have options. The frozen Spritz was very flavorful, more fruit forward and would be perfect in a hot day. The Nonna's Medicine had a nice complexity to it with the flavors peeking their heads out at different times through the process. For food we started with the crudo, mussels and grilled oysters. The crudo was very fresh and had a lot going on with it's simplicity. Just a great bite. The mussels were decent but really didn't stand out in any way. The grilled oysters, however, had flavor and texture, with a Parmesan crust on top and the oyster and juice underneath. Very good! For pizza, they are almost like little personal focaccia pizzas, cut into four slices. We tried the mushroom, pepperoni and white pizzas. The mushroom has a garlic cream sauce and herb mix with Parmesan. You definitely get the mushrooms, as they are ample, but they do not over power the pizza. Just a good blend of flavors in each bite. The white comes with Japanese potato, fennel, mozzarella and pesto. Another really great bite with the potatoes not overpowering everything else. Finally, the pepperoni with spicy honey. The spicy honey is more like spicy marinara honey sauce, but it works. Could have used more of that as it came on the side. The pizza itself, with mozzarella and pecorino tasted great. Maybe that focaccia is the move? Overall, De La Nonna did not disappoint. Everything was very nice, and sitting on the patio when the weather is perfect is always a move. I would say to skip the mussels but, everything else, give it a try!

Initially we were going to…read moretry De La Nonna, but they were closed for a special event and we didn't know when we showed up. In the same vein, we stuck with a similar style of food and ended up at Propaganda. There was little to no wait, which was pleasant. It was a nice day and we decided to eat outside. The focaccia bread and salad came out first, and both were good. I enjoyed the crispiness of the bread, though my only qualms were that the bread was quite oily and the butter and salt were just a tad bit too salty for my liking. The Insalata Mista salad was solid. Good flavor, good dressing-to-salad ratio, and a surprisingly good portion size. As far as pizza goes, the Margherita was good. Tasty, moist, and a nice crunch on the crust. I found it to be enjoyable, though I may have enjoyed more fresh basil on this. I did find it better than the Boscaiola. I got the black truffle honey add on, and it does not go well on this pizza in my opinion. There was virtually no taste of truffle to me, and more of just an aftertaste of oily sweet honey. This was a miss. It's hard to say whether the base pizza was good without it because the flavor profile was just too overpowered by the aftertaste. The Arts District is definitely coming up with new upscale dining establishments, and I'm there for it. I think this is a solid addition. Though this is a wine bar, I don't generally drink, so my review is based purely on the food. Results of their drinks, which is quite an extensive list, may be to your liking! They do have an inexpensive three wine flight, for reference!

Food: - Sicilian: THIS was the winner of the evening! The sauce, mozz, ricotta, and pesto all came together to make a really tasty bite. The edges of the crust were nice and crispy, and you can taste the toasted cheese on the edges of the crust. SO good. We both decided that this was the best flavor of the night. I've had this same pizza at several other spots in LA, but Prime Pizza really executed it well here. So well balanced in textures and flavors, and the crust was both nicely crispy on the edges and fluffy in the center! - Spicy Pep: Solid pizza, and we LOVE when pizza places use cuppy pepperoni. It was a bit spicier than expected, so be prepared to *actually* taste the heat when you order this one! Nice name, but when I see menus of any cuisine that go out of their way to offer vegan and gluten free versions of everything, it tends to put me off. I know that's an unfair prejudice, but I always assume it's more of a healthy food place for people who complain about regular food than a real tasty joint. Well, I couldn't have been more wrong. Now that I've tried their fantastic pizza, my only sadness is that they are located in DTLA, where finding parking even to run in and pick up things to go is always difficult. So, we were here at first not for the food but because my teen son's death metal band, Institutionalized, was playing a show with the very popular super cool local metal band Diabology. But, hey, if you're there might as well grab something before you leave, right? So We got a cheese pie, which was excellent. Also tried a slice of their white pie, which was garlicky goodness. What really sold us, though, was the Sicilian pie we got. As born and bred New Yorker transplants who have been here a long time, we have never found a fantastic Sicilian. Good, sure, but never great. The pies are never thick enough as far as the breading. Here it was as close as we've ever got. And like the other pizza, the taste was excellent. And, as native New Yorkers, we know our pizza! Strongly recommended! Can't wait to get another Sicilian pie in the near future with some toppings.

The customer service was amazing and the cashier who helped me, Melissa, was so apologetic and sweet (obviously wasn't her fault), but this is just another warning to anyone who is vegan and considers coming here. I also came when they were about to close and already had to wait like 15min longer than they said so there's not even anything else open this late for me to find other food. Very disappointing and I will not be coming back for good this time. If I could give separate stars for customer service, I would give them 5 stars but this was unacceptable on the cook's part. Do not risk it if you are vegan.
