This is the only place comparable to corner cottage when it comes to breakfast burritos. If anything, they do an even better job at times... Hear me out before you roll your eyes, you corner cottage cult members (I too am a member it's ok). Apollo does a better job at making their eggs nice and fluffy, super soft. So here's the deal...I want I give these guys 4 stars...but!...woman taking the order kind of had the "what do you want, then get out of my face" attitude. I was feeling super hungry in the morning and decided to go with the breakfast burrito at Apollo's.. Probably one of the better breakfast burritos i have had. I was able to custom order all the ingredients and it tasted amazing. I was complete full after i finish the burrito and ended up skipping lunch. The only reason why i didn't give this place a 5 star was because they didn't accept any other form of payment other than cash. Last i checked we are living in the 21st century. I've been coming here for 13 years or so now, and I come here 2-3 times a year so this is just a culmination of my experiences. Food is good, but not consistent. As others have said, the breakfast burritos are booomb (always ask for extra meat!) and the cheeseburgers and fries hit the spot. But it's a hit or miss, sometimes my burrito is the best thing I've had in my life, or it's cold and tastes like the innards of a half eaten Chipotle burrito left in the fridge, and sometimes the fries are crisp and well-seasoned or their limp, bland potato limbs. But more often than not, its pretty on point. Service is fine, some staff members are friendly and talkative, others have a DGAF attitude but aren't rude by any means. I've only seen my order ever come out wrong twice in the years I've been here - so not perfect, but who is? Environment is super hole in the wall but I think that's part of its charm; if it was hip and edgy I think it would intimidate its target audience. I know I go there looking like crap and ain't no one gonna judge me for it. I recommend to-go though, but they did recently spruce up the place! Note: they now take credit cards! YAAAAS. read more

The breakfast burrito is definitely different, in a bad way. Rather than equally distribute the eggs, potatoes, and bacon within the tortilla, the ingredients were plopped separately. Decided to try their breakfast burrito on Sunday. So glad I did because it was really good! I have been living in the area for a while but don't really frequent many restaurants in the area but I heard the breakfast burrito was really good. I had the bacon burrito with egg and potatoes. You get a little cup of their homemade salsa to go with your burrito which was really good too. The tortilla was good and I wondered if they make them on site because it didn't taste like something I would buy in the store. There is patio seating as well as a good sized dining room where you can enjoy your food but I had my food to go. Yes we had a lunch truck come during recess (nutrition) and lunch because we don't have a cafeteria.
