This is probably more of a 3.5 Star review. This is our breakfast place when we're craving bacon or sausage English muffin sandwiches, and! it's the only place where I will eat the processed American Cheese slices. Sacrilege, I know, but this place makes those breakfast English muffin sandwiches so simply and with great ingredients, the cheese turns into a happy oozy-gooey sensation. It's like home cooking, if the home had a large griddle. And it's probably the best option above fast food. Their breakfast burritos also hold a special place in my heart, as they come WITHOUT potatoes! This is probably one of the few mom-&-pop places in Burbank that doesn't immediately fill your tortilla with starchy fluff. It's the main reason why I won't get the burrito bricks from Corner Cottage (hey, I know they have their own special following, not disrespecting their tastes). The breakfast plates are simple but filling, and for a reasonable price. It's not fast-food-coupon-price, but for real food cooked up fresh I'll happily pay a bit more. It's honestly a bit run-of-the mill-meh when compared to other diners such as Lancer's or Harry's, but for location and the breakfast sandwiches and burritos, it comes out higher for that. read more

Just a solid spot to come to. Everything I've had here has been quite good. The parking is sufficient, the staff is very nice, and when I place a phone order it's always ready on time. The food doesn't blow you away, but the prices are low enough where they don't need to. read more

The food is decent the customer service is less to be desired. I called to make an order as I was driving into work. I was left on hold for 5 - 10 minutes. I get to the restaurant made my order and was told it will take 15 minutes. After catching up on email I notice that 25 minutes has passed. I go up to the counter for them to tell me you still have 3 orders in front of you and it would take another 15 minutes. At this point I'm disturb because the cooks and other helpers are joking around while there was nothing on the grill. I was more like "screw it" I told one of the working just give it to a homeless person. I know they won't because they just don't care. Once I arrive at work "without breakfast" and wasting 35 minutes for a breakfast burrito I called up to the restaurant and told them everything that happened and to say you've lost me as a customer, I know I'm only person but I will tell my story to every person that will listen. I also reiterated to please give what I paid for to a person in need. I know they won't because they truly don't care what their customers think. This is by far my Favorite breakfast burrito place . I have tried a few all around Burbank but Apollo's is the best. I have been coming here ever since I went to High school. Right by by the school so when we had "late start" my friends and I would go there all the time. The portion is perfect. Not too big or small. The price is great. Mmmm breakfast burritos, cheeseburgers, club sandwiches, tuna sandwiches. All very very good. I like their ham breakfast burrito with hash browns. If you are running late, simply call in first so that they can have it ready for you! Such a great solution for busy students or for anyone who is running late. You should eat it with the awesome salsa they give you plus ketchup and ranch (Which you can get for about $0.50) It might sound weird, but try it. They taste great with the burrito. I suggest you finish it while it's hot because it loses it's wonderful taste when it gets cold. OH! beware of Burbank High School's late start mornings because Apollo's is jam packed just before school starts. For lunch, cheeseburgers, club sandwiches, and tuna sandwiches are all very very good. The tuna sandwich is nice and light- the tuna is cold and the taste is perfect for when you feel like you want something a little more refreshing. The cheeseburgers are also very good- with the thousand island sauce inside, giving it just the little kick it needs. The club sandwich is great also. Eat it with some ketchup, makes it a whole lot better. The amount of food for the price is great. Great place to stop by. Had the breakfast burrito here and went back the next day to try the burger combo and it was well worth it. The double cheeseburger and fries were outstanding and large soda was a small swimming pool! This is just like those 70's burger joints that have large portions with low prices. Love places that have the little chilli peppers on the side of the counter like at Tommy's where you can burn the hell out of your mouth while you enjoy your burger. The part that I like the best was that the burger wasn't really salty like some places. It was perfect and the in ingredients were proportioned just the right way. They have a small lot and plenty of street parking around the place with a walk up window outside if you choose to order for take-out or sit outside. Great comfort food if you need to focus on you and not your diet! I'm hooked! No credit card or debit cards accepted and that's why I gave them a 4 star. My boyfriend and I got our burritos. He got a ham and bacon with no ham in it and I got a sausage burrito with no egg. 95% of my burrito was hashbrowns and maybe like 2-3 pieces of chopped up sausage. I haven't had a problem with my burritos, but ever since they got new management it hasn't been the same for us. We had already driven off and have two toddlers in the car who were getting fussy so i wasn't about to turn round and wait another 5-10 mins. I've lived walking distance from this place for a year and can even smell it from time to time lol. Finally tried it a few days ago and it was yummy!!!!! My bf and I had the grilled cheese, double cheeseburger and patty melt with French fries. The grilled cheese was only ok.... Not really a fan of American cheese. But at least the cheese was melted all throughout which is great!! The patty melt was really yummy, and very greasy! (Which is expected...) The burger was hands down our favorite. The best reason to eat here? Aside from the relative cheapness of price and abundance of portion, the breakfast burritos are really pretty tasty. I frequent them in the morning hours pretty often, and rarely have a bad experience. Occasional snubs by one of the employees because I'm not a true "regular", but not very often. The burgers are a little plain, but good sized, and their french fries are kick-ass. As I said, decent, but not phenomenal... ***EDIT - As of June 2009 I absolutely refuse to eat here. The last two occasions I've gotten food here, it has either been overcooked to the point of disgust, or completely hosed. How hard is it to understand "No pickles or onions"? And that employee I mentioned up top? She's only gotten worse... It's a shame, because the food is really not that bad...but the service has officially killed it for me. read more

Came in on a Saturday morning after yelping a place (of course) and decided on this joint. First off parking is a pain, only a few spots and its hard to get in and out. Secondly, as you walk in, the place looks pretty worn down and seemed like they don't do much business. Anyway the girl in front was somewhat rude taking the orders. Mama-san was scrambling eggs in a pan while the cook was wrapping up the burritos. So I ordered a simple sausage burrito and it was just like how I made it at home. Tortilla, cheese, scrambled eggs, and chopped up sausage. Very basic, bland, and boring. Maybe all the people that don't like waiting at the stupid corner cottage come here and think it's the best thing ever. Both places suck!! Does yelp have a half star? They have a lot of flies inside the place. My breakfast burrito wasn't what I expected. It had very little bacon. The pink lemonade was very watered down ‍.
