We had EXCELLENT service as well. They even allowed me to drop by a few hours prior to our event to decorate the tables and they setup a projector screen for me. I was very pleased! Had our daughters sweet 16 here and what an amazing experience. We booked a private room and Kelsey the manager was like our personal concierge. She coordinated everything for us down to the last detail. She helped amend the menu to accommodate the younger crowd and was always trying to make us thoroughly happy. She constantly checked in on us as if she owned the place herself - we felt very special, despite the restaurant being completely full. She assigned two phenomenal staff members Lexi and Tam, that helped us non-stop from the moment we walked to the private entrance to our room. They helped us set up the balloons, got tape for us and just worked tirelessly to make everything perfect for my family and guests. We literally wanted for nothing! Before any drinks were empty Tam was there with a refill, Lexi was on top of the appetizers and making sure the timing of it all was spot on. The fresh baked bread and delectable balsamic, garlic and cherry tomato dip was overflowing and each entree tasted better than the next. Some of the best tasting Filet mignon and scallops I have ever had - bar none! We had like 15 people there and like a tag team Lexi and Tam, made this whole event look so well rehearsed. My husband and I went to Aqua Terra for our 19th anniversary. The atmosphere was very welcoming. Casual yet elegant. The service was very personable. Our waitress Sydney was attentive to our needs. I have a gluten sensitivity (not allergy) but they treated me just as if it was an allergy. They brought me cucumbers when they served my husband bread. Very thoughtful. And the manager came out to check on us twice to make sure everything was as we ordered it. The personal touches were refreshing as we shared our meal together. The entrees were impeccable. I had lunch at Aqua Terra, while the atmosphere and service is always good, I was very disappointed in my food. The "Roasted beet salad", should be renamed to Arugula salad with a few beets. A beet salad should consist of mainly beets, this salad was all Arugula, goat cheese, nuts and about 6 tiny pieces of yellow beets (didn't even make up 1 small beet) which were tasteless. From great service from Kylie to fantastic food (which we forgot to snap pics of), we left pleased. The Bloody Mary and wedge salad were top notch. Made reservations, they texted me the day before to confirm, and texted again day of to remind me of reservation. Very friendly atmosphere. Ordered the beet salad, honestly very good. (Sorry, no photos) Entrees ordered were seared Halibut over creamed orzo, and filet mignon. The food was very good, also ordered Moscow mule, not so good. Fantastic setting in such an old building of Buford, GA. The three of us had a wonderful lunch with the impeccable lobster bisque, and the delicious charred peach salad with blackened shrimp on the side. It was delicious. The tomato compote served with the hot bread was so inviting, and so delicious to have prior to the meal. We enjoyed this place so much seeing that we were there so many times a year, and never really get to go into this place. It was truly a nice lunch. Our waiter handled the table next to us magnificently. They were so rude, using that semi-aggressive "ok buddy" tone on him and being fake nice, as well as smack talking when he wasn't around. We made a lunch reservation on a Tuesday because We wanted to make sure about the social distancing protocol these days. There were 2 other tables when we walked in, probably distanced. Upon seated, even before we ordered food, they put another party in the booth right in front of us which would have put one of us directly back to back with another person, and broke our comforts in dining out and indoor during this Pandemic time. There were other empty tables at a good distance. The management moved us to another table when they found out we were not comfortable, and quickly amend the situation.
