Oh Asadero--everything here just hits. The food was incredible, especially the steak. It's clearly the star of the menu and definitely lived up to the hype. The cocktails were also really good and well-balanced. The cheese chorizo was good, the side chimichurri they gave us was so amazing as well hellooo. Their seasoned vegetable the time i went was broccolini and it's just so refreshing and good. I also loved the vibe of the restaurant. The low lighting and cozy atmosphere made it feel super chill and perfect for a relaxed night out. Our server was honestly so sweet and attentive. I wish I remembered his name, but he really made the experience better. At the end of the meal, he even offered us mint tea, which was actually kind of funny because I had ordered a mojito with no mint since I'm allergic--I just didn't mention it to him. So when he brought out mint tea later, I realized I totally forgot to tell him. Still, it was a really thoughtful gesture and he was genuinely very kind throughout the whole meal. Overall, great food, great drinks, and really warm service. Would definitely come back.

So... I am hoping I just had a bad cut of steak. I have the ribeye and the flavor and cook was good, but theeat was very grissly and hard to chew through. The baked potato was pretty good. Nice service and food didn't take terribly long to come to the table. It was a bit smokey in the restaurant and I definitely smelled like a steakhouse afterwards. Our table aas a bit wobbly, too. Would I come back... meh probably not. The food was a bit overpriced for what I got.

My husband and I were disappointed in our ribeye steaks. It simply comes down maybe a low quality cut. The chefs cooked them perfectly medium rare. The char flavor was there. The loaded baked potato was good. The restaurant was pleasant and ambient with battery candles and ample seating. Our server was good, he was sweet and took good care of us, even got me another knife because I literally could not cut through my steak. The cut seemed to be a low grade. 95% of the steak was so grisly that I literally could not cut through it. The price was way too expensive, I could not justify the cost for the quality of meat being served. Maybe we just ordered the wrong thing. Maybe we should have tried something else, but for the price im not sure I am willing to go back and take that risk. I am all about boasting about a great place and I really wanted this one to be on that list, but unfortunately I cant do that. I wanted to give a 1-star but felt it wasnt fair because everything was good, including the cook, it was just the piece of meat. Maybe a batch that was not up to par. Nonetheless, I cant recommend this place.

Had to try this location after having the one in Ballard. This location is more spacious. I wish that you could make a reservation instead of having to come in and put your name on the wait list. Food was great! I enjoyed everything that we had gotten. I would skip on the queso though, as I wish that there was more to it than just cheese and it felt too heavy to eat after a few bites. Needed a lot more chorizo. I would get the guacamole over the queso easily. The lengua is a must get for us. It is so soft and tender, and the salsa verde that it came with is delicious and complements the lengua so well. There's not that many pieces of lengua, so a bit harder to share between two people. For our steak we opted for the Delmonico this time. A bigger and slightly thicker piece. As it comes on the hot plate, I would recommend getting any steak that you order rare. You can continue to cook the meat to your liking on the stone plate, though I think their rare is a little more cooked than other places I've been to. The steak comes with salt and two different sauces in addition to the salsas that the staff bring out to the table. I love that you are able to create different bites with all of the sauces, and each one elevates the steak in a different way. The steak itself already has a lot of flavor that it doesn't really need any sauces. I think eating it with the salt is the best as it enhances the flavors of the steak. I think the Delmonico was perfect to share between two people and a fair price as well. The service was excellent here (as it is in Ballard). I am not a big fan of how they do the seating in the middle row of the restaurant, where most of the two tops are, but that is a minor issue. The parking area is a little sus but knowing that everyone parks there makes it better.

We had a very pleasant dinner here the other night with a couple from out of town. My husband is on the carnivore diet so I thought it worked out pretty well. The area outside and where you park didnt seem super safe but the inside looked fabulous and upscale. The mood inside was pleasant and the lights are dim. We ordered the Chuleta Ribeye and Delmonico 30oz NY bone in steak. They were cooked perfectly!! Of course! And they had 3 little fancy sauces on the side but the steak alone has so much flavor. My friend ordered the tacos and those looked so tasty as well but I didn't get to try them. We felt like the price was reasonable for a great steak. We will definitely be back for anniversary and birthday dinners. The service was great; we had no complaints. Bonus we got a same day reservation here at our preferred time because we called a couple hours ahead. But it was a weekday.

The alone is 5 stars. I got the vacio steak it was made perfectly as I asked for medium rare. My only complaint was it was hard to cut when it was so thick it kind of row around as I was cutting it. It came with a chimmichuri sauce I asked for alittle more since it was mostly oil. The waitress brought it after I was 80% done she apologized and asked if I still wanted it. I know now why she asked me because when we got the check it was a 2.99 charge. Wow it would have been nice to let me know I kept it since she had it but it wasn't necessarily needed as I was almost done with my steak. The service was good I am not complaining but the have us extra salsa for free I asked for more sauce for my steak and it is extra... wow. The bone marrow was good but maybe not 14.99 good. I just had to try it. The rice that was the grandma recipe was okay I didn't find it anything special. I'll probably get another side next time. The cauliflower was delicious but the habanero sauce is quite a kick to it. Arachera was my favorite since we all took bites of each others. I would get that again. The steak was flavored really well. The green sauce with avocado has jalapeños which I am not able to try but I have a feeling the server really didn't know what was in it when I asked she told me it was Serrano. I told her I am highly allergic the kind my throat will close she check and told me that there is jalapeños. I am glad she checked for me. This place is super busy but I think it was an awesome meal. I will be back for sure.

Food was delicious. I especially enjoyed the Papa Loca. My husband order the Steak Frites and really liked it. I ordered the La Carne Asada waygu and was not disappointed with the portion size or the flavor. Service was excellent too. Got on the waitlist through yelp on our way there. By the time we arrived, our table was ready. The ambiance is fine. I think the tables are a little too close. I saw people next to us starring at our food as we ate and they waited. That was awkward. But the ended up ordering the Papa Loca too. Overall, I will be back!

If you like steak, it's worth stopping by this spot. Look for the black sign with a gold cow. This place can fill up fast, so def recommended reservations! The only thing that sucks with this location is the parking. So be sure to give yourself plenty of time. Once you open the door, you'll be greeted by this hugeee Day of the Dead Statue where you check in, so you'll know youre in the right place. The restaurant itself isn't too big and its like 3 lines of a few tables. In the middle is the high top tables and the other sides are lower tables. So just be aware of that. Coz we got some shorties in the crew, and they struggle if we get sat in the high tops. Hahaha. Now for what you really care about, the food. My go to is the vacio wagyu that comes on a hot plate. And it def is hot, so don't touch! Thr vacio is a thickkk cut, but i prefer it better this way. They have other cuts that aren't thick if you're not into that. I recommend getting the steak rare if you're okay with this. And once you get your plate, you can move the steak to the side on the wood platter the hot plate comes on. And then cut the steak as you go and cook it more to your liking. Coz if you don't move it, then you'll get an extra crispy outside or burnt steak if you're not paying attention. Lol. And you can always ask for a new hot plate if needed, but the plate says hot for awhile I feel. It comes with coarse salt on the hot plate and they put rosemary on it. So if you don't want either, just let them know. And they give you a few different sauces like We always opt to get the papa loca, which is a huge baked potato with sliced wagyu asada, bacon, cheese, green onions, and sour cream. Def large enough to share and it's so good. (I don't eat pork, so I ask for the bacon on the side so whoever I'm with can eat it.) The other item that's on the table is the bone marrow. I myself don't eat it, but it disappears quite fast. Haha. It's usually two bones that comes with some kinda toasted bread. And if you have doggos, you can ask them to pack it to go. Overall, a decent dining experience and pricing not too crazy for steak IMO! The staff is friendly and helpful if you're indecisive.

I came to Seattle to celebrate my nephew's graduation, and my sister picked this restaurant for our family dinner. Unfortunately, it didn't start on a great note. When we arrived, my nephew was clearly upset. Turns out, the restaurant refused to store his ice cream cake. My sister had informed them during the reservation that she would be bringing a cake and was told about the cake-cutting fee, but no one mentioned they wouldn't be able to store it. That would have been an important heads-up. I asked the manager directly, and while she confirmed they couldn't store the cake, what really stood out was her lack of flexibility or willingness to help. It's a special occasion, and a little hospitality would've gone a long way. As for the rest: * Ambiance: Just okay. * Food: The porterhouse steak was good, not great. * Drinks: Watered down. I live in New York, so maybe my bar is higher--but still, they missed the mark. Would I go back? Probably not. Celebrations deserve thoughtful service, and this place just didn't deliver.

I have only gotten pick up orders from here, but they saved me time and time again when I needed an idea for dinner. The dimly lit dining room is very much a romantic setting so if you're coming here for date night you won't be disappointed. The tacos were delicious and the meat was yum. Asadero Prime was a classy experience, and the food was excellent. Read on further for the rest of my thoughts! The environment: The tables were packed closely and the lighting was dimmer and darker than I expected. It was very loud, however, since everything was packed together so closely. It gives off very rustic and elegant vibes, though! The service: The service was EXCEPTIONAL, which honestly is what you'd expect from a place with both high prices and rustic vibes. One of my orders was forgotten, but the waitress immediately apologized and had it fixed. The staff were all so kind, helpful, and absolutely exceptional. Bravo to the Asadero Prime team!! The food: First of all, when my party and I were served water, they offered fruit slices to put in it! Which was obviously a little fun and felt classy. (Did I immediately disgrace myself to dig the orange slice back out of my water to eat it? YES.) The food itself was absolutely delicious. They mostly specialize in steaks and other fancy things like that. The food is served hot and can be quite filling! You can tell it's good quality meat, not the fat-littered, tough meat with weird stretchy ligaments most places have nowadays. It is expensive, however, but it absolutely matches the quality of the food you're getting. Final thoughts: The food is amazing, and so are the employees. However, the tables packed together so closely and consequential noise does make it a little overwhelming.

This was our second time visiting Asadero, and first for this location. My girlfriend wanted to go for her birthday and they did not disappoint. The moment we walked in we were greeted and sat at our reserved seats and to note they were very accommodating to seat us outdoors per our request. They certainly went out of their way to make the outside seating equally enjoyable and comfortable with heated lamps. The service was attentive, accurate and pleasant. Our waitress did a fantastic job and made sure we were looked after throughout our entire experience. The quality of the food was top notch and you can tell the chef/cook staff took pride in what they delivered. Could not have asked for a better tasting steak! Thank you all for making this a pleasant birthday meal for the two of us and we will definitely be back! read more

This was our first visit . Large party of 12. Parking sucks and the location is not the safest . Way too over priced including the 18% service charge that drove our bill the almost 500 dollars for 5 people . The bill included 4 glasses of wine, 1 margarita and entrees . If you want it side dish , you pay extra . 3/5 had a different steak on the menu , I have had better steaks at a golf course / ect . This place is WAY over priced and not worth the money . Service was friendly . We will not be back read more

The Service is truly 5-star worthy. Fist time here since the COVID. And unlike so many restaurants where service has steeply declined since 2020, Asadero excels. On a packed Friday night where there was a BD happening and reservations sold out, food & drinks were prepared perfectly, delivered without want and waitstaff chipper & attentive. Excellent steak house in the Kent area with high end steak cuts at reasonable prices. I recommend some of their unique cuts like vacio or the zabuton which are really flavorful and served on a hot stone. The ambiance and drinks are fantastic too. Make sure to make reservations in advance as it does get super busy (and for good reason)! read more

It was my 3rd time there. The foods and service were okay. Few things we were not happy with were the 2nd waiter who took one of the plates our guests were going to box without asking if they were done. Also, we had to wait for a while for a hot grill replacement for Wagyu and for for a check. It was pretty busy but they should have more waiters or someone to oversee the floor. read more

I came her with a friend for my birthday last summer. I had been wanting to try this place for a long time, and my friend joined me, even though she's a vegetarian. It was a nice, sunny summer day when we came. Parking was packed in their little lot; my friend had to park in the lot across the street. When we were seated, I started feeling how hot it was in there; maybe their AC was broken. But even my friend, who's always cold, was also feeling hot. We asked if we could sit outside, but they were full outside. I ordered the Vacio Wagyu and my friend ordered the Ora King Salmon. And we ordered the Roasted Cauliflower to share. The food was good; my steak was cooked well. But it was so hot in the restaurant, it was hard to enjoy anything. And my steak came on a sizzling hot stone plate, so that made it even worse. We were both sweating. And we had done our hair, but I was sweating so bad, that my hair was sticking to my shoulders and back, so I had to put up in a bun. I can't enjoy eating while I'm hot and sweating, so it made the experience less enjoyable. read more

Had outdoor seating, didn't feel too hot for the end of summer. The service could've been better because we asked for water a few times before we received a refill. All the staff was super nice though and food came out fairly quick! Place is on a corner, almost missed it. Also, for a weekday street parking was pretty open. read more

TLDR/ Atmosphere: Disjointed, Food: tasty but overpriced, Verdict: You could try it. While initially the first time I went to this restaurant I was wowed by the atmosphere and the quality. It seems that Covid, like it has from many restaurants, has caused both to go down slightly. While this is still a decent place to get a steak, I wouldn't say that it is my favorite, nor is it the best. It is an option. The atmosphere is somewhat disjointed, now that the Salsa Bar is different and while they do practice Covid protocols, I don't know if the funky style of food they serve is it going to survive long-term in this new era of restaurants. Beyond everything else, my biggest issue is the cost versus what you actually get. There was a time where the cost for the experience might be justified, but that time has passed and we are left with a lukewarm experience coupled with overpriced moderately seasoned food. read more

Finally found time to stop in and it was a really great experience. Interior is smokey, so if your eyes get irritated easily or they are sensitive, sit outside. It is also loud inside so conversations can be harder. Service is super friendly and attentive and food comes out relatively quickly. We ordered the steak tacos (hefty tacos with pickled onions, avocado, etc.), papa loca (massive baked potato loaded with steak, cheese, bacon, etc.), the bacon topped jalapeño poppers and the asadero bread (beans and cheese). Everything was delicious and flavorful, I did find the taco a smidge salty and the bread was so-so, it wasn't bad but I wouldn't get it again. read more

We've been wanting to try out this place for quite some time. Opportunity arises when we were in the area, and stopped by for lunch. Luckily, we didn't need any reservation but can see that it's likely recommended for dinner. The portions was huge and it was pretty tasty. Probably a little bit more pricey than others but quality, quantity, the ambience and atmosphere really justify the price. They definitely did not skimp out on the portion, and well enough to feed 2 hungry adults. The staff was really nice and prompt. I would totally recommend this place. read more

The food here is so good! My husband and I would share a steak because one is just enough for the both of us. Don't forget to order tuetanos, too. That right there, is one of my favorite! Came here for my birthday dinner and everything was great. We were 15 minutes late due to traffic and they still got us in no problem and I really appreciated that. Emily was our server and she was great. She came and checked on us several times and was really friendly. I ordered the mangojito and it was really tasty. For appetizers we ordered the bone marrow (my fave) and guac and chips. The chips never do anything for me but the guac is really good. The bone marrow was very flavorful. For entree I ordered the Vacio Wagyu. I normally order the El Zabuton but decided to switch it up this time and I was not disappointed. The Vacio was thick but very tender and juicy. I couldn't stop eating it. I eventually had to tell myself not to finish the whole thing because it was that good. I have been to the location in Ballard. Both are nice. The Ballard location is a little nicer and less Smoky. I noticed the smoke immediately upon entry and I think it's because the way this kitchen is setup versus the Ballard location. All in all I would come back to this location as it it a little closer then Ballard. If you plan to visit during the weekend PLEASE make a reservation it gets really busy! read more

Came here on a Saturday. We had reservations for 7 pm but they took more than 30 min to seat us and we had to wait outside. Got the guacamole as an appetizer and the bone Marrow. The bone marrow was cooked perfectly but it would've been nice if there were a couple more pieces of bread with it. I ordered the vacio akaushi. My fried ordered the parilla. Another friend ordered the Australian rib eye. Though We ordered our steak medium rare, it was served rare so we let it continue cooking on the hot stone to our liking. My friend asked for his steak to be rare but it was more medium. Everything had good flavor though and I liked the chimmichurri sauce on the side. Service was decent though once we were seated and food came out in a timely matter. read more

Just gonna talk about the atmosphere first. We went there for my dad's birthday and the first thing we noticed was it was so dark inside even though it's bright outside in the middle of the day. I mean, i get setting the mood or something, but even my dad commented how dark it was inside to the point that he couldn't read the paper menus. Please consider making it a tad brighter. Service was fantastic. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and made good suggestions. Food wise? everything we had was delicious and an experience. Came here for dinner last night and I'm glad it wasn't busy. I've heard this place can get quite busy. They have options to either dine inside our outside. Service was so nice and helpful. They have a decent amount of things you can choose from on their menu. They don't have a full bar service so drinks are limited to what is on the menu. We ordered the Wagyu beef tacos and the guacamole with round tortilla chips. They gave you different types of salsa and condiments for your tacos which I love! The wagyu was so soft and tender. I have always wanted to try this spot. It was very busy when we came here for dinner but was seated within 20 mins. Our service was great and made recommendations on what to try. We had the wagyu and Australian steak and it was so delicious! The atmosphere inside is a bit dark but doable for a date night. Great vibes and delicious drinks! Came here to celebrate a friend's birthday with a group of 6. We were greeted by the manager who let us know our reservation for indoor seating got messed up and we would need to sit outdoors. The table was heated and covered and in the end, wasn't a big deal. We received free appetizers and had great service throughout. Our party ordered a ton of food and drinks and our server still did a fantastic job. Food was great but I think the service was better. Would definitely come here again! read more

I've been here a few times and have never been disappointed. I'm through here for work enough that I bring some other guys with me occasionally. Asadero is really more than expected. One of my favorite places for steak--it's juicy and super tender on a sizzling hot cast iron! It's always cooked really well on the multiple occasions I've visited and the seasoning compliments the meat perfectly. It's high quality grade steak and is a great place for a nicer meal. One order is 3 poppers and enough to share with 4 people. The Papa Loca is a MONSTER potato, loaded with a tasty 4-cheese blend, sour cream, bacon and Wagu Chuck eye steak. If you have been to a high end steak house chain like The Capital Grille, Morton's, The Palm or Ruth's Chris, this is a similar experience but with an authentic Mexican flair. Like the other places mentioned, you'll pay $45 to $100 for a steak, plus $8-$15 for various sides, but you don't have to pay $20 to park in Seattle. Visit Kent for a great steak. The atmosphere immediately sets the tone with its beautiful semi-open kitchen design and an irresistible display of desserts that practically begs you to save room for the end of your meal. What stood out even more was how incredibly clean everything was--without question one of the cleanest restaurants I've ever dined in. Do yourself a favor and start with the meatball sampler. It was absolutely delicious and the perfect way to begin the meal. I ordered the crab and scallop pasta, and my wife chose the seafood linguine. Both dishes were exceptional--fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. We ordered the smaller portions and were pleasantly surprised by how generous they were. The portions were just right and left us completely satisfied. The service was outstanding from start to finish. Our server was attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, and struck the perfect balance of being available without hovering. Between the immaculate dining room, warm atmosphere, incredible food, and top-notch service, this was one of the most enjoyable restaurant experiences we've had in a long time. We can't wait to come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an outstanding Italian dining experience. Five stars all the way!

The menu is a bit pricey, and the "light portion" options on the menu must be pretty small, based on the "full portion" dishes we ordered. All in all, I'm sure we will be back.

ZERO STARS -- Unorganized, Dishonest, and Completely Disrespectful If I could give this place zero stars, I absolutely would. The entire experience was a disaster from start to finish. First, their online system only lets you reserve a "spot in line" for six people. We had more, so we called -- only to be told they don't take reservations and that we should call an hour before we wanted to come in. Fine. I called at 5:15 PM for a 6:45 PM seating. I was on hold for over 13 minutes, then the hostess came back only to hang up on me as if she couldn't hear me. When I called back, they tried to put me on hold again until I insisted someone had just hung up. After some confusion, they said they were "moving things around" and our table would be ready at 7:00 PM. A little later, they even called asking if we could come earlier. We agreed -- I told them we were already nearby, just waiting for two people arriving from Amazon less than 10 minutes away. The hostess said, "No, it sounds like you're closer to 7." We checked in at 6:25 PM, and were told our table still wouldn't be ready until 7. By 7:15, still no text. When we asked, the hostess casually said the manager had "asked the table to leave." By 8:00 PM, still nothing. My niece went in to ask for a manager. The hostess brought out drink menus but no actual help. Ten minutes later, the manager finally appeared -- defensive, dismissive, and completely indifferent to the fact that elderly guests were waiting outside for nearly two hours with nowhere to sit. When I asked if she could at least cover our meal for the ridiculous wait, she flatly said no -- then contradicted herself by admitting she could but "the manager wouldn't be happy about it." So not only rude and disorganized, but also dishonest. This place lies, misleads, and treats paying customers like an inconvenience. They have zero communication, zero accountability, and zero respect for their guests. If you're looking for a pleasant night out, go anywhere else. Truly one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. read more

While the quality of the ingredients was undeniable, the execution fell short, particularly in terms of seasoning. The salt content was overwhelming--not just an accent but a dominating force on every dish. It wasn't merely a matter of personal preference; the excessive saltiness left my lips chapped by the end of the meal. A thoughtful hand with seasoning would have allowed the natural richness of the beef to shine, but instead, every bite felt like a battle against sodium overload. Service was impeccable--attentive, professional, and accommodating. However, the digital-only menu was a logistical misstep. Without my phone on hand, I had to leave my table to retrieve it from the car, an inconvenience that felt out of place in a restaurant at this price point. A well-printed menu should be a given, especially when guests are paying a premium for the experience. Cocktails, while solidly executed, were priced on the higher end of the spectrum. For a dinner for two, with two drinks each, the bill came in well over $200. Given the quality-to-price ratio, the value simply wasn't there. A meal at this price should deliver not just premium ingredients, but careful execution and a seamless dining experience--neither of which Asadero Prime fully achieved. I'd recommend this restaurant for larger groups or family gatherings, thanks to its generous portions, reasonable pricing, and solid food quality, along with attentive service. This place had been on my list for a while. I came solo hoping for a bar seat, though they don't offer that. Instead, I settled into a corner high-top table, which worked well for me. I started with the Old Fashioned Cartel, made with Corralejo Anejo tequila, which was a nice twist on the classic. For the main dish, I had the Vacio Wagyu (14oz) from Snaked River Farms. The steak was served on a hot stone, allowing me to continue cooking it by slicing and grilling it on the stone. The steak itself was a very thick cut, with some parts being fatty and others a bit tough and hard to chew, but overall it was good. It came with two sauces, onions, and tomatoes on the side. While I enjoyed most of the sauces, the onions and tomatoes were a bit too salty for my liking, especially since the steak already had flavors. The hot stone presentation is fun, and it allows for some interaction, making it great for groups. However, I was hoping the steak to be ready to eat, as it required more attention than I anticipated. My server, Alex, was extremely friendly and efficient, and the rest of the staff appeared to be well trained and doing their jobs effectively. Overall, the food quality and pricing are in line with each other. While it's not the fancy experience, it's definitely a good option for a casual meal with friends or family, especially if you're looking for something filling and reasonably priced. I've always regarded Asadero Prime as a culinary gem, a place I've proudly recommended and shared with close ones and colleagues alike. Its reputation for exquisite dishes had never come into question until a recent visit that left me both surprised and disappointed. The evening was meant to be another testament to Asadero's culinary excellence, with selections of Waygu and ribeye steaks, accompanied by what were once my favorite sides. Yet, an overpowering gas-like smokiness in our dishes was a departure from the quality I had lauded. The response to our feedback on this matter was prompt, albeit the resolution with the carrots was only the beginning of a more concerning experience. The interaction with the management regarding the steak was unexpected. The assertion that a significant portion of my steak was consumed, contrary to my experience, and the subsequent dismissal of my concerns highlighted a disconnect in customer engagement and understanding. The offered discount, though well-intended, did not address my core concern--ensuring that future dining experiences are free from the issues encountered. Regrettably, this incident necessitates a one-star rating, driven by both the decline in culinary execution and a customer service approach that seemed indifferent to genuine feedback. Used to co R here quite often for work lunch pre-pandemic and I still ordered takeout afterwards, albeit very infrequently. Anyway, now that I'm slowly transitioning exclusively from WFH to hybrid, I'm starting to hit up all my old spots. And today was Asadero's turn. This place has certainly come along way from its original hole-in-wall location near federal way area and its menu has exquisitely expanded to include familiar yet elevated whole steak dishes. I'm still partial to their juicy wagyu carne asada, but I sometimes splurge on their higher-end offerings, which really do rival the seattle steakhouses imo. It's nice to see that even after all the changes and challenges restaurants had to endure during the pandemic, Asadero Kent has not compromised on quality. I still consider their offerings to be some of the mexican food you can find throughout this region. However, while the quality has remained unchanged, the prices certainly have. Be prepared to pony up a tidy sum for a meal. It seems prices have ascended about 25-35% and a a simple taco will run u about $6 after tax (4 rib taco @ $25 after tax). And don't forget the tip! In conclusion, I will continue to throw my patronage to this great restaurant, however, unless I hit the lotto, I will likely need to endure my cravings and settle on more infrequent visits or just for special occasions. read more

Disappointing Valentine's Day Experience - Not Worth the Price I made a reservation in advance for Valentine's Day, expecting a great experience, but it was a letdown from the moment we arrived. The service was poor right off the bat. Despite multiple open tables, we were seated near the door on a freezing night, which meant every time someone walked in, we were hit with a cold draft. To make matters worse, another couple who arrived after us was quickly moved to a more comfortable spot, while we were left to freeze. It took nearly 30 minutes for a server to take our order, and the only reason we were even acknowledged was because a busboy overheard us asking where our waiter was. Meanwhile, guests who arrived after us were being helped promptly. The food itself was decent, but for the price, it was disappointing. The meat cuts were about 75% fat, leaving very little actual meat. Paying $344 for something I could have bought at Walmart for $30 with better quality is frustrating. Overall, the ambiance, service, and food did not justify the price. It was clear the staff didn't want to be there, and unfortunately, it showed. Definitely not worth the money or the experience. This is a place for real MEXICAN , if you expect burritos , enchiladas , chips and salsas and all that texmex junk , you are very far and lost from getting it here . We had been their customers almost 7 months we frequent them like 3 times a week all great , except for the 5 star snobs that complaint about the wait time , you have to understand that this is run by a family or like 5 members , they are doing their best to serve you if you don't like hole in the walls don't come here this is a whole in the wall with the best Mexican food served ever , if you like Azteca please make us a favor and lets us have a seat and go complain somewhere else let us Mexicanos enjoy our beloved food we want to actually sit and enjoy what this family is doing , eating my doraditos and chorreadas is the most delicious thing I can have here in the state of WA that is flooded with mediocre tex-mex restaurants , please please when you get here turn away the food and service is so bad ! let us the real fans enjoy our asadero Sinaloa . read more

Oh boy , This place reminds me the late night carne asadas back in my hometown of Hermosillo Mexico , the very first thing I liked about this place was the smell of the mesquite @ the parking lot I could tell things were going to get better , We ordered Cebada and a Mexican cola just plain delicious , we ordered the carne asadas angus and the ribeye tacos both were phenomenal with the sides that you would get a real carne asadas not rice and retired beans .... This place is a gem the vey best place for real Mexican food not what you would get at an Azteca , Toreros or any of those places that sell texmex so please keep the comparison to a distance , this place its in its own category and they do it excellent and also all the beef they use is prime grade ! Not even a lot of steakhouses use prime , so please if you want asadero understand the meaning of "asadero" no enchiladas , burritos etc , asadero style food for real . read more

No more wagyu carne asada!?!?? I have been coming for years even when they had the hole in the wall down towards fed way area and while their prices have always trended on the higher side, it was always worth it as the quality of the food and meat were exceptional. Since my last visit, which was not long ago, it seems they have steered away from offering wagyu carne asada and are now just selling regular carne asada?? The texture, flavor, and toughness of the meat was instantly noticeable to me and I was left very disappointed. It was the only mexican restaurant that I know of that offered this kind of flavorful carne asada. I would even buy multiple platters for special occasions to share with friends. Truly disappointed. I do realize they still offer plenty of exceptional wagyu steaks but this was one of my favorite dishes. Unfortunately, now the asada is no different than what any other chain mexican restaurant offers. read more

Wow wow wow. This place rocks. It's a must eat if your in the area. Tucked away behind another Mexican restaurant, this quaint little restaurant is authentic Mexican with amazing quality. Their salsa bar rocks. Fresh salsas, limes, cilantro and onions/tomatoes it's all there for you. They will service you your food on a wood plank or a tray, pretty cool, and it will be A LOT. The tortillas are fresh. I got the carne asada, and I've had a bunch of it, and I would say this is probably the best I've ever had. I also ordered a side order of the jalapeño poppers. Jalapeños with cream chews topped with bacon. They grill the jalapeños which makes them so tasty. The cream cheese is whipped a bit so it tastes light. They are 4.95 for 3 of them and I would recommend them. Overall a 5 star well rated place. Put this on your "food bucket list" read more

Finally my search for the best asada tacos is over , I am originally from Tucson and I was spoiled by the Sonoran style tacos , when I got to Washington I noticed one thing , they don't have a clue what a real asada is the place is nothing fancy but sure they have the best wood fire tacos in the area , probably the only ones that use mesquite to be honest , so far everything great the only con is the location is hard to see , don't get confused with the tortas locals is a different restaurant , but they share the same parking lot , try the vampiros my favorites dry grill tostadas with melted cheese and steak mmmm need something else ? And they served plain so you can topped them with excellent salsas and their creamy guacamole that I only found in Tucson taco joints ,yo can't go wrong if you are looking for real asada tacos . read more

We came here for a birthday dinner with high expectations, especially given the 4+ star rating. Unfortunately, we were disappointed by the lack of hospitality. Unlike most restaurants we've visited, they didn't offer anything complimentary for the birthday guest--not even a small gesture. What surprised us even more was the $10 fee just for bringing our own birthday cake. We've never encountered that at any other restaurant. The dinner itself was quite expensive--over $80 per person--with a 20% tip automatically included. For that price point, we expected a more welcoming and celebratory experience, especially for a special occasion. While the food was ok, the overall atmosphere and customer service didn't match the cost or the reputation. We wouldn't recommend it for anyone planning a special celebration. read more

I heard about this place about 2 months ago , i was not able to visit it due to work related issues and because of their schedule which they close Monday and Tuesday , i finally got to try them this last Sunday and let me tell you its the best Mexican food in WA period ... yes do not expect your regular Tex Mex fare , this is what you would get at a true carne asada restaurant in Mexico which is their specialty , i had the ribeye tacos and my girlfriend got the carne asada , salsas are terrific ! coconut horchata is so good i hope they make it they have a very bad location though , but this is real mexican with good quality products no gourmet fuzz or anything like that its straight up home style mexican carne asada ! . I recently visited Asadero Prime in Kent, and as always, it was absolutely amazing! My go-to entree is the Zabuton steak, cooked medium rare, and it never disappoints. On this visit, I brought two friends who had never been before, and they were completely blown away by the quality and flavors. The steak was cooked to absolute perfection -- tender, juicy, and packed with rich, mouthwatering flavor. The service was top-notch, friendly, and attentive, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. And let's not forget the atmosphere -- always chill and relaxed, making it the perfect spot for a great meal with friends. This place truly is a hidden gem in Kent, and I can't recommend it enough! The Mexican cuisine is not necessarily famous for its meat or steak, until you eat here. If bone marrow and steak are your thing this is the place to be. My go to is the Wagyu beef, which is served on a hot stone and keeps cooking to perfection as you devour it. Service is friendly and you can eat here without breaking the bank. Only reason for the four star rating is that the seating is not great. Sharing the main farmers style table is not ideal if you are looking for a romantic or private experience. We actually had some childish elbow pushing with strangers going on once...so insist on a table if this is not your thing either. The excellent food is why you go here and it is worth the wait. No reservations so be on time or arrive aftthe first round of early diners finishes. read more

This steakhouse is a go-to for us. Definitely make a reservation, especially on busy nights. It's also super kid-friendly, with high chairs and a surprisingly solid kids' menu. The kids' quesadilla is basically the adult version at a fraction of the price--total steal! The drinks are good, though I do wish they'd shake up the menu a bit more--it can get a little repetitive. As for the food, the meats are solid across the board, but I always go for the vacio. It's one of the more affordable cuts, but still juicy, tender, and rich with flavor. If I had one gripe, it'd be the lack of veggie options. The seasonal vegetables have never really hit the mark, and most of the sides lean heavily toward cheese or carbs. My Mexican friend bought me to this little, hidden place for a treat after our exhausting day at school and at work. We first ordered the "star" of their menu, called Carne Asada. And by the name itself, I knew that it will like chopped meat but I just don't know how it's going to taste. I've tried Mexican foods back then but their carne asada presentation was interesting and enticing. I took a small portion and I was blown away by the taste. It's perfect! The seasoning is the best! And the meat was tender enough. It melts in your mouth. It's just amazingly tasty, delicious! Excellent! Oh I also love their spicy salsa! It's indeed different when you use homemade fresh ingredients. Two thumbs up! We will surely be back along with some of our friends! read more

There is a REASON ! why my Mexican Family said this is the best place for a Mexican meal period ... when I first arrived at the establishment I was not expecting the best , for my surprise I walked into a nice and cozy dinning room with some Spanish guitar music and the fabulous smell of the mesquite wood mmmm , the friendly and pretty waitress took my drink orders I ordered cebada my girlfriend ordered the chia lemonade both excellent , we also got the carne asada which was great and made us remember our carne asadas in Mexico overall this is the best experience you will get in WA , its family run which makes it even better and they seem commited to serve quality beef which made the 5 stars . read more

I would give 0* if that was an option... they profiled me and my husband. After being ignored for 20 minutes waitress comes over with water and proceeded to say, "I hear you want help with the vegan options." Ummm...nobody has even said hi to me but I see you. You profiled me, Becky with the good hair, my yuppy looking bun having husband, and totally profiled and judged us. Are you kidding me? Who comes to a steak house and wants vegan options? How awful! My husband is a chef and I'm a waitress. I tip really well and know what it's like to work in a restaurant and I've NEVER treated a customer like that. I will never go back. read more

I had an amazing experience at Acedero Prime in Kent! From the moment I walked in, the service was top-notch. Nick, the manager, and Mandy, my waitress, were absolutely fantastic--friendly, attentive, and genuinely great people. I ordered the Australian Wagyu with a baked potato, and it was incredible. Perfectly cooked, rich, and full of flavor. I also tried the Guava Margarita, which was refreshing and paired perfectly with the meal. Great service, great food, great atmosphere.
