Soooooo good! I was so surprised at how good the good was. Took a few orders of salt and pepper wings and spring rolls, as well as rice, noodles, and a chicken dish in a picnic. The cashew chicken was serviceable with way too many chunks of zucchini that I have never had in this dish - sparse cashews and the chicken was cold when served. Some personal favs of mine are the Mongolian beef, crab rangoons, bbq pork chow mein, and steamed bbq pork buns. This rating is based on the food. I was craving Chinese's food so decided to try this place out. I ordered broccoli beef, fried rice, and sweet sour pork to-go. Unfortunately, My husband and I didn't care for any of it. The next day our stomachs didn't feel well either. As for the customer service over the phone...they're nice. Well, we decided to get take out for Game 5, of the GSW. Hadn't been to Asian King in years, so we decided to give it another try. They deliver, and it wasn't pizza, When no one wanted the leftovers the next day, it confirmed our disappointment of the night before. We did get to try the Shredded Pork in garlic sauce this time. It had good heat, but way too sweet. The potsticker wrappers were too thick and doughy. Black mushrooms and broccoli, were the only tasty dish. Chow mein was forgettable. The kids loved the food, and the portions for the lunch specials were huge, with large sides of fried rice and chow mein. Potstickers were pretty good, a bit greasy. The Mongolian beef was surprisingly tasty & tender, not too spicy. The kids' orange chicken, was crispy & good, but the sauce is definitely of the thick, syrupy variety. The owners have done a nice job fixing up the space, and the service was friendly and pleasant. The food isn't up to the standard you'd find in SF, but it's still a pretty good option for tasty and reasonably priced Chinese food on the Coast. read more

The orange chicken was extremely dry. Not only the meat itself but also the sauce. It definitely needed more orange sauce. I was expecting a sweet and tangy flavor like most orange chicken. If you want Chinese food delivered on the Midcoast, Asian King's is your only option. So, there's that. Tried this place for the first time tonight. The soup is bland, the broccoli beef is average, but the Walnut prawns are simply not edible. Completely mushy and undercooked. I think I'll be driving back in the Pacifica or Foster City from now on. read more

My wife and I drove up to buy a Ford from James Ford. We hadn't been back here in four years. I asked my wife since we had one night only where she would like to eat? I gave her the option of the Ritz Carlton, the Miramar Inn or Tres Amigos, or the Italian Restaurant right over the bridge on Main st. . All of these establishments we're wonderful in their own right,, she chose Asian King. So very good is all the Food! The Wah Wonton soup is delicious, the tempura asparagus the Crab Rangoon and BBQ pork chow mein We took back to the great Half Moon Bay Lodge and thoroughly enjoyed every bite.
