Never will I shop at this store! Dishonest sales help! Salesman told me that an ipad with the purchase of phone and new contract would cost us the taxes only. Then I looked at the bill and saw that we had an installment plan and were paying the full price over the next 2 years! Also purchased galaxy 5 S, did not disclose that I would not get texts messages from iphone users...when I returned items no courtesy, had to pay restocking fees. read more

If I could give this 0 stars, I would in a heartbeat. I wish I had read these reviews before I signed up for a plan. I went in to get out of my contract with Verizon for issues that at the time seemed major. Now, I've been with AT&T for a week and a half and have experienced worse support during my "trial period" than I ever did with Verizon. First of all, the guy who set up my plan lied to me about every single item. He added on insurance and a protection plan, gave me a two year contract rather than his promised 18 months, and then signed me up to activate 2 tablets with a $40 activation fee and a two year contract with $20 each month. After discovering a bill that I did not recognize, I called customer care. They said I had to go to the original store to take care of this. So I drove two hours to get to this store after work. I got there, and the manager says to come back two days later when the manager of the employee who signed me up is working. So I drove two more hours just to hear exactly what the first manager told me - they can cancel these 2 tablets because it's within 14 days but I have to pay $35 for each tablet for restocking fee even though the guy opened the devices for me. I didn't even need a tablet as I already have two! Oh, and even though their guy lied to me about a contract and activation fee, they "couldn't work a miracle for me and I still had to pay even though they acknowledged that I was lied to". They said the guy would be "disciplined in a way they could not specify". I am positive this guy was rewarded for tricking and lying to a customer as it seems to be a trend on this yelp. By the way, this is only 1 of the 30 idiot statements made by these managers. Do not go to AT&T. read more

I walked in at 8 pm looking to get an upgrade and was ignored I sat down clearly making my self visible to the employees waiting for help... I watched at least 3 customers who walked in after me get help, after 40 minutes of waiting with not even a "I'll be right with you" I left, shittiest service I've ever had, employees there deserve a pay cut read more

If there was a way to pick zero stars I would have. Do NOT go to this store. I was there the other night to get a phone activated that I had ordered on AT&T online. Easy right. NOT! Three and a half hours in the store I left without the phone working and was told just wait awhile longer we think it will work. Also they made a commendation and updated my data plan. Arriving home and thinking about the incompetence I chatted with AT&T online. I found that that i now was paying for TWO complete plans (1) my original plan of 700 minutes and (2) a new Share plan of unlimited minutes. If I ever have to go to an AT&T store again - I will drive to wherever rather than returning to this store. WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN! read more

After having the same phone for over 2 years I decided it was time for an upgrade. As soon as I walked in Calvin was right there and ready to help. He never once pressured me which i truly appreciated. He was very polite and even helped me by putting my glass protector on my phone which i would have never been able to do myself. If you ever need to upgrade your phone or add a new line i highly recommend going in to the Camarillo store and asking for Calvin. read more

I went in with my wife to buy 2 new phones and upgrade our plan and we were met 0 answers to any of our questions, little to no information, which left us both very frustrated. Instead of the customer service rep understanding our frustration, he instead decided to just look down at his tablet while we both got more and more frustrated because we were not getting any answers to our questions and felt like we were not being really helped at all. I expressed that I wasn't happy with what he was trying to offer and again he would just look down and not even address that I was frustrated and just wanted someone to explain to me these new services and answer my questions. I will never do business in the store again, I had all my questions answered and got all 3 of my phones bought and contract renewed online, better service and they actually will take the time to explain everything to you online. Followed up by the worst customer service with an attitude by Brandon and nothing done by their manager; I would never recommend this location. I like to do my Christmas shopping early, so I go to the ATT store in Camarillo in early November. I purchase an Iphone from Miguel and made it very clear that it was a Christmas gift. 16 days later I decide to exchange it for a phone with more memory. I make an appointment and again Miguel is my service rep. I explain that I would like the phone with more memory and he looks at my receipt and says that I only had 14 days to exchange the phone. He says that he explained that when I purchased the phone, I told him that I had told him that it was a Christmas gift and therefore would not have purchased the phone at that time if that were the case. He told me he would be happy to sell me the upgraded phone and that I could sell the other phone online. Why would I give him another $500-600? I told him I would have to stay with the phone I had but that in the future he should be more forthcoming. Why would I buy something with a 14 day exchange knowing full well that it would be over a month before even opening it to use it. From now on I will make all my purchase through Apple directly. Avoid this store and AT&T if possible. A Sales Agent by the name of Carlos 'mislead' me about free tables, offering me devices as part of a promotion for upgrading phones. I said I didn't want any of the free devices if I had to pay to activate and monthly fees. Carlos said there would be no fees, that they could be used as Wi-Fi only devices. Wrong. I now have 4 additional phone lines on my monthly bill under a two year agreement. Neither the manager Victor nor an agent on the AT&T Customer Relations line would assist. They both said I would need to talk to the other to get the lines removed. No help at all. read more

I was foolish enough to go back to this place. I purchased two car chargers in addition to re-upping to a two year plan with a new phone. The equipment came with a "1 Year Warranty". Neither of the chargers have worked consistently in our vehicles. I finally got around to taking the poorly designed items back. No luck. It was outside the 30 day window where credit could be issued. So I walked out with two chargers of which only one works. Given they were returns, they are already outside the 30 day grace period.The ONLY reason to go to AT& T is to return items, but be prepared for repeat visits. read more

Went in here to fix a billing problem. All of the employees were busy except the female manager. Well she was very "busy" texting on her phone. Anyways one of the customers I guess had been there for awhile and his blood sugar was dropping and said he felt a bit dizzy, so the employee helping him grabbed him something from the back. Happened to be dark chocolate with almonds. I watched the manager take a picture of the guy eating the chocolate and then texting them to people and talking about it with another employee. I don't know what kind of standards are held for your employees but that in my eyes is completely disrespectful and uncalled for. This place never ceases to amaze me at how awful some of the employees are, especially a managed. I wish she was wearing a name tag but she isn't. read more
