I tried calling the business 3 times during my lunch break at work so I could quickly do a pick up order but no one answered the phone. I then had to do a pick up order through a third party app that adds on extra unnecessary fees. I used grub hub for a third party app which was a pain because they didn't have an option for pepperoni pizza by the slice. I had to do cheese and add the pepperoni as an add on. Since they took forever to accept my order I had to send my step father to pick it up since my break was over. They told him they couldn't find my order so I had my step father read them the order number and the employee said to him " why didn't you say it was grubhub". When I finally got my pizza I saw that they messed up my order.. their pizza is usually good and I used to love them but this made me not want to come back anymore. Especially because I couldn't even get in contact with them to tell them they messed up my order. read more

Highly disappointed in what was one of my favorite places to eat. A slice of pizza was ordered. It was overcooked/nearly burnt. My sister informed them, and they gave us another slice. This time, the slice was cold. So cold that when my sister turned it to the side, all of the sausage pieces rolled off and onto the plate! That's because the cheese wasn't melted. She then handed me the pepperoni slices. Yup, cold as well. It seems as if they picked up an extra slice they had lying around and threw cold meats on top of that cold slice. We were stunned at the apathy when they were informed. There is no way I would let a customer leave my restaurant dissatisfied like this. The saving grace was that the stromboli was good, as was the ziti. Unfortunately, that doesn't make up for the unappetizing pizza and their disinterest in customer satisfaction. I don't know if management has changed or somehow no longer care. Word will definitely get around about this unacceptable behavior. I have never had issues like this before. It really hurts to see a once-great eatery plummet in quality. Wish I had taken pics of this "pizza". Guess the moral of the story is to never order a single slice of pizza from Atlas. I never put 2 and 2 together. I frequently get menus for this restaurant in the mail and I also driveby here at least once a week and I never realized that they were the same place. Even when I did a delivery order, it wasn't until I drove by again and recognized the name that I realized they were the same place. Its about a 10 minute drive from my house and yet it took about an hour for my order to get delivered, I felt that was really slow but I'm not sure how crowded the store was at the time so I wouldn't "drop any stars" for that. Onto the pizza, it is massive, 1 slice is about the size of 2 normal slices so 1 satisfied my hunger, I also got their hot wings. The pizza looks good, the ingredients look like things you would make at home, sausage sliced instead of chunks, peppers cut thick and not thin, etc. Even with all of the great ingredients, I was not a fan of the pizza. It all boils down to the sauce, and it just wasn't good, the flavor wasn't there. I loved the wings, they were not too spicy and hot just the right amount of sauce without being too messy. If I return it will for sure be for just the wings and maybe to try out a sub, the pizza is a no in my book. read more

Now I remember why I don"t go to this establishment. I have been a resident of this area for over 25 years and remember when this place was opened. They were very good at first but started going down. The place was not packed so I thought I would be in and out. It took them 20 mins from the time of my order, to receiving my Steak and Pep sub. I should have know something was not right when the young blond lady only opened the container of my sub about an inch or two. After I got home I relived the sub was kind of small and not very much meat. Okay folks, my 12 inch sub was 10 inches. I called back and was told that the sub bun will shrink when toasted. I will say they offered to remake the sub but I declined. All I can say is WAWA is about 100 yards away. read more

This pizza place used to be our favorite place to go each and every Friday night as this was our "Family Pizza Night" stop! They HAD an amazing pie that reminded us of a home (NYC) slice. We were faithful customers for years until things slowly started to change. One thing in particular was the ingredients on the pizza. All pizza's whether from a restaurant or grocery store have 3 main ingredients; Dough, Cheese and SAUCE. For some reason, about a year ago the cooks basically stopped putting sauce on the pizza!!!! Not sure why, but when I say we kept being served "triangle cheesy bread" I tell you no lies!!!! It really sucks because we are literally around the corner from Atlas and now travel a ways to get "sauce" on our pizza. We are hoping they will make the necessary changes because we love the staff, they are super sweet and welcoming but cheesy bread is NOT pizza, its cheesy bread! read more

The staff is always friendly. The food portions are large and prices reasonable. The only reason I gave them a 4 is they can definitely improve on bumping up the wait staff in the dining room. On more than one occasion we have noticed the waitress work the entire dining room which was filled. Drinks were left empty and had to ask for silverware. I went here with my friends for book club and it was the perfect spot for it. We tend to like booth areas with lots of space and restaurants that don't rush us out. We usually stay for hours just talking and taking up a table. My friend Regina got one of the pizzas and it was huge! She really enjoyed it. Their house salad was really good (had a lot of different veggies on it). They had endless refills. The main area was large and it looked updated. They decorated for the holidays which was a nice touch. I had the calzone and it was huge!! I had left overs to spare. Overall I think their food was pretty great. It was typically of a pizza place. The waitress was nice and she didn't seem bothered by the fact that we were staying for hours. She would check on us, but not rush us. We are a weird group to come it and not everyone appreciates it. I wouldn't recommend this place. I tried their appetizer sampler and a deluxe pizza. They were out of mushrooms for the sampler, so they gave us some extra zucchini and cheese sticks. The zucchini was stuck together, so it wasn't crispy. It was very doughy and soggy. Not sure how fresh the oil was because all of it tasted burnt and old. The pizza wasn't very impressive, either. The pizza sauce just didn't have any flavor to it. The service was okay. The server could've been a little friendlier. Usually the food here is great. Unfortunately, if you're ordering delivery I wouldn't bother ordering a Cheese Steak. The past 3 times I've ordered a Chicken Cheese Steak from them I ask for NO ONION and it always comes with it. And this last time they managed to finally omit the onion but it ended up giving me Steak instead of Chicken. And I cannot eat red meat. It is absolutely frustrating that a place that makes good food for everything else can't get a Chicken Cheese Steak order correct. Even though the Suffolk location is closer to the hotel we are staying at they say call Chesapeake. Chesapeake takes our order, charges our card for delivery, says 45 mins. 30 mins later they call and say they can't deliver to us as we are too far away. Now I have a hungry group of 8 year old baseball players, no Pizza and still a lingering charge on our credit card. Horrible customer service. Shouldn't the person taking the delivery call know the delivery zone? And once you realized we were outside of your zone why didn't you just transfer our order to the closest location. My wife and I like to go here when we are craving a simple NY style cheese pizza. I'm sure that there are other NY style pizzerias in the area, but we prefer Atlas. We've tried a few other things on the menu; fried appetizers, salads, etc. We have not been disappointed. The restaurant portion is really basic, but gets the job done.
