Went to Aurelios two weeks ago. Do not know what happened, but the place is slipping bad. Sauce tasted like it was out of a can. Undercooked and overly sweet. .The great crust was now, just mediocre. I don't know how long this location has been here but I'm so glad I came across it. I used to go the the location on West Cheyenne. This is some of the best Chicago style pizza you will find. Like a taste of home. Aurelio's was our go-to in the Chicago area. I love the square cut pizzas, thin crust is the way to go. Very generous with ingredients. Although the stuffed pizza we ordered for a football game one Sunday was gone in no time also. Everyone loved it. I am a delivery driver. I showed up on time and was told 10 minutes. I left and delivered another order saying I'd be back. 10 minutes later I was back Christina? Said another 10 minutes. Aurelio's has always been 5 star for us - until our last order in Vegas. We know what to expect and did not receive a good pizza. When we asked the owner to fix it he refused. Said he would only give a refund and no pizza or charge us extra. He insisted he made the pizza without cutting corners but this was not true and he would not fix it. We hope this is an unusual occurrence and not the norm going forward. We have been grateful to have them in Vegas and happy they survived the Covid years etc. We know inflation is a factor but to us his honesty was more the concern. read more

Being a Chicago native, this is a staple for us back there and I've loved this pizza for over 40 years. After reading some of the reviews I was a bit skeptical and thought maybe it wouldn't be authentic or nearly as good as the original back in Homewood, IL. Wrong!! This pizza is awesome! The pizza, bread sticks and cheese sticks are excellent and made of fresh ingredients without preservatives and items shipped in from China like some pizza chains use to cut costs. Yes, this isn't the cheapest pizza on the block but if you care about quality this is the hands down best. I'm glad they have an addition here in sunny Las Vegas. Oh ya. Aurelio's Pizza recently moved from Craig/Commerce to this one at Craig/Jones in the same parking lot as Lowe's. Same high priced pizza with many misses in the flavor department. I called to order a medium 1 topping pizza and the girl who answered was friendly and let me know the order would be ready in 15 minutes. Walking inside the tables all looked clean, but the floor was filthy and there was a smell that wasn't appetizing in the air. I walked to the counter and let them know I was picking up an order and then I was rung up. The total shocked me because I only ordered a medium 1 topping how could this be almost $20??? Thin Crust Pepperoni ($17.75 for a medium) - With tax my total was $19.21 which is outrageous for 1 pizza of this size and toppings. The sauce was sweet and actually, I liked it. The sauce was the only thing I liked. The cheese tasted spoiled which completely ruined the pizza. The pepperoni couldn't even be picked off, it stuck with the spoiled tasting cheese that wouldn't even stick to the crust. With each first bite the cheese and pepperoni just slid right off in all stuck together in one piece. I somehow made it through a square and a half (it's cut in squares) and then had to throw the rest on my plate out. The taste of that spoiled cheese was just too much. Aurelio's Pizza might be a long loved pizza chain, but for me there was nothing to love and it wasn't worth the money at all. read more

Service: appalling. They would have been better off installing a robot. No customer service, no ability to critically think, or use resources to try and resolve anything. The pizza was SO small it slid around the small pizza box. Same with the slice of what was supposed to be NY Cheesecake. Anyone from NY or who knows NY style cheesecake is WELL AWARE that the slices should be better than a frozen cheesecake from the grocery store frozen dessert aisle. The pizza? Poorly constructed, tasted ok, but it was really really small. Like a toddler pizza. Overall I paid a little over $20 for the order and that was the last $20 that this place will ever get from me. This is a mixed review. AS ex Chicagoans we love Aurelios and this location does not disappoint. We had lunch there on our last visit to Vegas and decided to do the same this current trip.We went out of our way from the casino we were headed to just to have a pizza before going there. Supposed to be open at 11:00 for lunch so that's when we arrived only to find them closed. We waited, we called, waited decided even if they did decide to show up at all it would take longer than we were willing to wait to get ovens ready, etc. SOOOOO disappointed! This is my favorite pizza of all time from my childhood days in Chicago. We attempted to eat here for lunch today and waited an hour because we arrived early (due to finishing our previous day's activities early). The door clearly said they open at 1100 and the sign was even flipped to open. The place was a ghost town with no indication why they were not open. Piss poor business. At least leave a note on the door if there are extenuating circumstances. I'm sure corporate Aurelios would not be happy to know how this franchise represents their brand. Do not come here!!! Absolutely ridiculous! We ordered over the phone with a woman who couldn't speak English. Don't answer the phone if you can't complete a sentence in English. We payed for $54 and when we got our order we told the lady we were missing our tiramisu and she said we don't have soup today. Thank god we speak Spanish so we can speak to the dumb lady. She didn't put that in so we had to pay. At this point I'm irritated so I open my order to make sure everything was good. It was completely wrong! My plain wings had Buffalo sauce and my pizza was missing toppings. She goes and tells her coworker then he comes and says he refunded the card and now we have to pay again because we weren't charge for one of the toppings. So our new total is $55. We wanted some quick and nice pizza, this wasnt the place for it all. There seemed to be one server and one cook. We were one of two tables available and took ages to get our order taken. It took no joke an hour or so for the pizza to come out. We were even joking at that point that they had to grow the wheat for it. We were even told by the server the cook was just staring at the uncooked pizza at one point. when the pizza came out it was fine but tasted like any usual mom and pop kinda pizza. To be a person from the Chicago suburbs and extremely familiar with the deliciousness of Aurelio's ...I must say this Vegas pizzeria isn't the same. The cheese didn't stretch like it should...had minimal sauce (which is not like Aurelio's and moreso Vegas business owners being cheap) and it's overpriced for the quality. Maybe it's Vegas' water? Nope...Giordanos is supremely scrumptious! I'm giving a 2star primarily because they were still closed even 10 mins after they were supposed to be open and it messed lunch up (Friday prior). I paid for 2 toppings of pepperoni but got only what looks like half a serving on my pizza. That was $6 worth of extra toppings. I asked for extra marinara sauce on the go and was given a very small container. Was excited to try this pizza place, because it's right by the house. We got a coupon in the mail so I was like OK and went there with decent expectations since it seems more like a local smaller chain restaurant. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and chicken wings; first I'll start with the pizza which was horribly dry I'm not sure if it had any sauce on it or flavor and secondly the chicken wings are definitely by far the worst I've had in town I'm not sure if they're even considered chicken wings because there's no meat on them dry skinny little things, husband wouldn't even eat them. Tried calling Aurelio's to order a pizza I had to give the lady my number 3 times to get it right. Then I asked for the biggest pizza with half cheese and half pepperoni. Then she had to ask me to repeat it cuz someone was talking to her. I order from her once or twice a week. But she has the neve to tell me not to be rude. How am I rude I'm the customer trying to order my pizza. If you can't take a simple order you're in the wrong profession. This location just LACKS...it lacks reasonable pricing, it lacks the taste and freshness the parent location offers.
