Vrooom vroooom! It's Autopia, where nostalgia runs on tiny gas engines and the scent of childhood is unleaded and unmistakable. Yeah, yeah, it's "just" miniature cars on a track, but don't knock it till you've rumbled (okay, bounced mercilessly and uncomfortably) through those scenic winding roads under that cute little bridge, surrounded by waving robots in scenes of the future and classic Disneyland charm. I rode this as a kid and now, even as a full-grown adult (who probably should've stretched before getting in and out of this lowrider), I still love it. Bottom line: it's worth the inevitable back pain, LOL. The cars are adorable. All brightly painted (unless you don't luck out and get the plain black one) with a retro-futuristic vibe that just screams Disney circa 1950s. Plus, there's a surprising amount to see along the track, especially compared to its Florida cousin. Disney World features a "race" theme while Disneyland has a futuristic "country" drive vibe. Sorry, Florida, but California wins this one. Is it a smooth ride? Absolutely not. Is it cramped? Oh yes. Tall people, you've been warned, this ride wasn't built with your knees in mind. Getting in and out feels like a flexibility test no one signed up for. I get all sorts of aches and pains when I ride this attraction but I still think it's worth it. One of my fave things about this ride is the gas smell. I know I'm a weirdo, but it's so strong but weirdly great. It brings me right back to my childhood. My least fave thing about the ride is the queue area. It's in full sun with zero shade, so you will bake on sunny, hot days. Make sure you wear sunscreen, or wait to ride it in the evenings (or when the line is shorter). The ride is silly, outdated, a little uncomfortable, yet I'll gladly ride it every time I'm here. Autopia forever!!!!!!!!

Located in the back corner area of Dinseyland and still a great Honda inspired driving vehicle ride for kids. While you have a track, you still need to drive in order to move, so if you have a teenager, this ride is perfect way to teach them to drive and stay in the lane without bumping. I let my husband drive and he had a great time. As it was his first time. At the end you can pay $10 ea h to get custom Autopia drivers license! A great inexpensive souvenir.tjry have 3 booths and we were having some issues with one booth, the card machine was.not working, but the app allowed us to take pictures. One of the booths was out of order and lines form quickly!!! The booths takes e pictures, and allows you to pick one! So amazing- why hasn't the DMV caught on and do this!!!! I know many who absolutely hate their DMV pic!! A ybiw, they upgraded the card system and i love the new look and thicker material! It is definitely different than the last time we got license! Love it, much better!

We walked over to Autopia while waiting for our booked time for FastPass ride to pass some time! It was a cute little ride! You get to drive these mini Honda cars on a track but it was a bit lackluster. Cannot accelerate and they basically set the speed for all the cars, no matter how hard you step on the pedal lol. I get it though since it is meant for all ages. I remember this kind of ride was one that I always needed to hit up, as a kid!

Knowing this is more of a kiddie ride, you can curb your expectations this is a F1 go kart racing track haha. Simple safe slow speed to leisurely cruise mini go karts over a set track to avoid potential disasters. Also spring loaded bumpers to minimize injury when some patrons decide to play bumper cars. Weird the pedal is in the middle at first but makes sense so parents can help kids drive it around the track! They have photobooth on the exit side for memories!

This ride is solid. I think I liked this ride more when I was a kid and went on it with my dad. Probably because I thought it was cool to drive. I'm not going to hate on the ride, because I can see why other people might love it and maybe I'm just not the target audience, but I think they probably need a refresh since it is in Tomorrowland. Maybe electric or any non-gas type of vehicle? You can definitely smell the gas/petrol in the air the entire time. On my last visit, I was behind two very young kids...my gut had a bad feeling, haha. I think usually any kid at that age (let alone two) is accompanied by an adult but they just went on anyway...sure enough, they were stopping a bunch of times while on the ride where I had to brake pretty hard not to hit them. I honestly didn't think it was a big deal but was worried the person behind me was going to slam into me sooner or later and jar my neck.

A vintage ride that still has that appeal. Line moves quickly the course is same as always. Cast members are super friendly. Super clean and fun.

This ride is a classic and will always have a place in my heart. Usually the line is not to bad for this one and if you purchased the lighting lane for the day this one is included so makes it even faster. Honestly though the line never seems long maybe 30 minutes if that for stand by. Not sure if kids just don't like coming on this one anymore or if the hype just isn't there anymore but for me I still try to ride every visit. Its pretty basic ride where you drive a go cart type Honda throughout different areas. You just push the gas and are on your way. Just be sure to keep it in line because it is rough if you hit the side. Also be sure not to hit the car in front of you. One thing I will say is it does smell like fumes or gasoline. I guess its not so bad during this short ride but I wonder if its bad for the workers. Overall its a classic and I'm sure not very long from now this will be gone and replaced with something newer and better but while its still here I will still be riding it.

This classic ride always warms my heart every time I'm on it. I loved it as a kid, and now my own children enjoy it just as much. It's more of a gentle cruise than a thrill ride, slow paced, relaxing, and full of charm. I had never experienced it at night before, and I have to say, I think I actually prefer it that way. The scenery feels even more magical after dark, and the whole experience is just more peaceful. It's one of those timeless rides I'll always love.

Autopia race cars sponsored by Honda. How do I know you can see the Honda emblem on the hood. Letting my nephew take the wheel and I'm just a passenger.

A must! When you go to Disneyland. The lines can get very long, prepare yourselves lol. It's a very fun ride. Few years back, the fake license was free but now they cost $8. Booooo... but they have to make their money somehow.

The fastest drive in Tomorrowland! Drive your own car in Tomorrowland and get your own drivers license as you exit the ride! Fun fun fun!

Fun ride to gage what type of driver that your kids will be someday. This is one of those rides at Disneyland that I will jump on occasionally if the lines aren't too long. Autopia is located in Tomorrowland and is one of the original attractions that opened with Disneyland in 1955. It has gone through many changes over the years. Even though you can use the steering wheel to move the car a little bit, a center rail that guides the car along the track does all the work for you. In my teenage years, I used to get in trouble a lot for bumping into the car in front of me. Younger kids need to have an adult with them because they cannot reach the gas pedal. As you approach Autopia, you can smell the gas fumes from the cars. It can be a bit nauseating, but not so bad once you start moving in your car. You get to drive under the Disneyland Monorail track as you ride around in your car. Autopia has been sponsored by companies like Chevron and Honda over the years. There is a 1967-era Corvette Stingray-style Autopia car on display at the Disneyland Hotel if you want to see one of the original cars from the early days.

Our first ride was the Guardians of the Galaxy Breakout. We were thinking Disneyland's Indiana Jones roller-coaster, but it was Rocket's Tower of Terror. Being dropped multiple floors was quite an intro to the park! After arriving to the Avengers Campus, we saw Iron Man, and met Antman, Dr. Strange, Spiderman, and Black Panther. The Dora Milaje put on an awesome and interactive performance, and the Avengers assembled. We also saw Black Widow and Shang Chi in passing. I like the characters here a little better because they give the same energy with their adult fans as they do with the children. Disney pricing is what it is, so eating a meal beforehand, bringing snacks, utilizing the fill stations, and a frozen Gatorade (as your large ice cube later) are helpful. We ate lunch at Pym's Test Kitchen. I got the Philly and he got a chicken sandwich. The Philly was pretty good and the chicken sandwich was ok. We walked throughout the entire park and did some shopping. Disney Adventure Park was a lot of fun! I'd say our "magic moments" were meeting Antman, Spiderman, Dr. Strange, and Black Panther, and them taking that extra time with us like they do with the kids. Both parks have characters, but Disney Adventure Park's characters seem more aware of the adult fanbase and embracing of both adults and kids.
