Had Autumn Air out to look at our Bryant heater today that has been malfunctioning. Service was great! Was able to get an appointment fast and my service tech Matt was very knowledgeable and did a thorough inspection of the system. He explained what he found, what he did to correct those issues and then tried to recreate the malfunction, which did not happen. He even explained the error code given by the system so I know exactly what was happening in the event the malfunction happens again. I appreciate the detail and time spent. These folks installed my air conditioning in 2012. They did an extremely clean installation. It has worked flawlessly since then. However, this July, it started to function poorly. Long story short, it had developed a leak in some of the copper tubing in the compressor. After 10 years I consider this to be normal wear and tear. I called Autumn air, since they installed the system, and they responded almost immediately. They came out, inspected the system, and gave me an estimate. These guys are awesome. Craig the owner and Matt his employee spent hrs on the phone going back and forth trying to figure out what was wrong with my forced air unit. It wasn't blowing enough air through the ducts, finally they figured out that inside of the return duct had come apart and blocking the flow but you couldn't see it from the outside the ducts looked fine. I have no idea how they found it. Also they fixed a few other issues that other air conditioning guys could not figure out. Poor customer service. I was referred to Autumn air from a family member. I contacted Autumn Air in the summer time to have my HVAC system serviced. When I called they said it was a busy time of year , but they would call me back in a week. I never got a return call. Very understandable! My service call was not an emergency, but only preventative maintenance. I contacted them in early 2017, again, just to have my HVAC looked over and make sure it was running efficiently. A date and time was set, only to have a representative call the day before and say they couldn't make it because it was going to rain. Hmm! Thanks guys! We called Autumn Air after our A/C unit was only blowing warm air. The owner of the business, Craig is a nice enough guy but his employees are not very skilled. He dispatched a repairman in swift time but when he came out he didn't seem like he knew what he was doing. We were charged a hefty amount, the A/C worked for a day and then went out again. He came back and claimed (via broken english) that our filters were 'too good' and we needed 'cheap filters' in order for us to get our A/C unit to blow correctly. We went on vacation, came back and found it broken once again. We had a new company come out and discovered that Autumn had overfilled Freon in our unit resulting in the compressor to overheat. I would highly recommend you call someone else if you need service. read more
