I like this one way better than the one in bremerton. The food is way higher quality and the service was outstanding! The waiter brought by more chips as soon as there were just crumbs in the bottom, and the drinks came very quickly. There was nothing left to be desired, except maybe a wheelbarrow to roll my overstuffed self out to the car and a nap. read more

The hospitality and food quality are that best I've had since arriving in WA 4 years ago. The Staff went out of their way to make me feel special even though I was doing a take out. The atmosphere was upbeat and the staff seemed to know most of the people arriving for dinner. Great rewards program and the food tasted great. I got food poisoning from one of their platters and they were super rude, defensive and sassy about it. They said they didnt have any other calls saying they got food poisoning until we called and when everyone ate the same thing from the platter and everyone got food poisoning at the same time. This is one of the best places Kitsap has to offer in my opinion, unless you're deep rooted into the traditional Mexican food then you can go elsewhere to smaller restaurants. Sometimes the rice came out dry but you always get a portion to fill up the average bear, and it doesn't taste bad. I just wish they didn't use Kraft or Velveeta cheese, which it seems like, on some of there dishes. read more

Great food, great atmosphere! My husband is particularly fond of the chili Colorado. Try the picadillo, which is a combination of pork and beef. Delicious! I always get the tamales. The filling is super moist and a little sweet, but the best part is that they have a good amount of meat filling. Portions are large. Rice and beans are perfect and simple, seasoned without any extra add ins. Great service and everything is authentic and tasteful without being commercial. The only thing I'm not a fan of are the chips- they're just average. One of my favorite spots in Silverdale. read more

I love Azteca!! I have been coming here ever since I was a little girl with their first location in Bremerton by Burger King. Their food is always excellent, the staff is beyond awesome and it's my favorite place to eat. When I moved to California for 8 months I missed this place the most. Last time I went here about 2 months ago it was almost back to the old school way of doing business before some of the management staff and employees went corrupt. This place has become a staple in the local community and I feel it is now back with vengeance to be on top as one of the best Americanized-Mexican restaurants in the county. read more

Chicken taquitos, my husband had enchiladas and so did my son, my daughters had macaroni and cheese with their choice of fries or rice and beans, the kid meals come with a drink and dessert.....all five of us had so much food that we all needed a box to take home leftovers. I have traveled many places and have eaten real Mexican food from Mexico to Canada. Arzteca is a place I call American style Mexican Family restaurant. Great food, atmosphere in this place is wonderful, but can be loud on situations when there is a party or there are many kids. Top notch service. I do prefer to eat at Mexican eatery that are mom and pop base and in some case a feeling that is more home based. read more

We liked the food and service at this place but the place is a little too cramped as far as table space. That was a bummer but with the tight space they are limited as far as correcting that. Overall a good experience. For a Mexican place the prices are on the higher end of average. I found a tiny piece of foil in my food and passed along that as information -the manager was very apologetic and offered to buy me a free drink but I don't drink too much but appreciated his gesture. I was in the Silverdale area for work and found this place on yelp, and figured I'd give it a whirl. It wasn't bad. I sat down right away and the waiter came over and gave me some chips and salsa and I ordered my drink. I ordered the chicken chimicanga and a chile rellenos. It was pretty good- nice and hot. The chile rellenos was really tasty and had some good spice to it. The chicken chimicanga was a typical item from any mexican restuarant menu. Overall the place was pretty good. When I first moved to Kitsap County I loved Azteca but now that I have lived here for a couple of years I have found other Mexican places that are way better. The food here always comes in big portions and it isn't the greatest food either. I usually judge a Mexican place by its rice and I hate their rice if that is saying something. I usually get a quesadilla here but it always very greasy and drips everywhere. The prices are too high for the food quality here. The servers are always very nice and attentive though. Now that we have found other places we don't go here anymore but it always an okay option. read more

My grandma used to work there and it was so good, i reccomend the choclate moose if you like sweets.

I have eaten several times now at this Azteca, and it never gets better. I have tried the soup several times and they have all been different, therefore, my conclusion is their food is edible, but not good. In regards to customer service, it would seem that you have to flag the waiters down every time you want something because they do not come to the tables. read more

My guy and I go here a lot, we love it. The servers are very nice and welcoming, and they are always willing to change the channel on the bar TV's to whatever game we requested. The food is pretty good, we usually get enchiladas or carne asada. It arrives promptly on a warm plate. read more

Great service. Our waiter was genuinely nice, not in that fake "I want a good tip" way and was quick to fulfill all our needs. The food was delicious, hot, and fresh. While the outside doesn't look like much it is cheery and festive inside. Will definitely be going back to this little gem in Silverdale. read more
