Great food. Cheaper than the sashimi places in Buena Park where I live so it's a bit of drive. Worth it tho.

The Spanish bluefin tuna was rich, buttery, and one of the highlights of the meal. I also loved that they offer more than just sushi. The hot dishes and yakitori were just as delicious, making it a great place whether you're craving sashimi or something cooked. If you visit on the weekend, don't miss their live sushi specials--they're definitely worth trying. The service was friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was comfortable and relaxing. It's the kind of neighborhood restaurant that earns loyal customers through consistency and quality. I'll definitely be back!

Kamon Sushi - Rowland Heights…read more Kamon Sushi is one of the few Japanese restaurants that has managed to stand the test of time in the Rowland Heights area. I've watched the restaurant go through management changes over the years, but they've done a solid job maintaining a consistent mid-level quality while continuing to attract local customers. One of the biggest draws is still their business lunch pricing. The menu is extensive, covering sushi, bento boxes, kitchen dishes, and more recently, yakitori. My personal preference is their bento boxes. The two-item and three-item combinations, typically ranging from the mid-teens to low twenties, remain a dependable choice. Inflation has made them less of a bargain than they once were, but compared to similar Japanese restaurants in the area, they are still reasonably priced. Over time, Kamon has evolved into a more modern Japanese restaurant with a broad menu. The upside is variety. The downside is that I don't think they've found one category that truly stands above the rest yet. The yakitori is alright. The tempura is alright. The sushi is decent. The bento boxes are probably the strongest part of the menu. What consistently stands out is the service. The staff is friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which keeps me coming back. Kamon may not be the place for the best sushi, the best yakitori, or the best tempura in town. But if you're looking for a reliable neighborhood Japanese restaurant with a wide selection, fair pricing, and great service, it continues to be a solid choice.

Kopan Sushi & Ramen in Rowland Heights always hits!…read more There is a closer location, but I enjoyed dining at this one. My wife and I have dined here a few times and other visits with my cousins. The parking near the entrance are usually occupied and some of spots in the lot are compact so just an FYI. The location is nice and the staff will acknowledge you as you walk in. There are a number booths for intimate seating. There is a sushi bar towards the back of location and also bigger tables for larger groups. Kopan offers a lot of various items from the sushi, sushi rolls, ramen, curry and even a limited time wagyu menu. Each visit has been a positive one. Some days have BOGO 50% on rolls. The quality of the sushi rolls is fresh and nicely presented. On a few recent trips, we tried the Wagyu Uni Sushi which was insane! I tried the Chicken Curry Katsu which was delicious. Served on a hot stone and full of flavorful curry with a large cut of chicken katsu. Overall, the menu options and a good quality service make this location a stand out. Thanks, Kopan Ramen! ( ^_^)b

We ordered two (H4) orders of Chirashi, one (C12) una don (eel don), and I ordered (C13) the Chilean Seabass. The owners were very friendly. As we spoke with them casually, the lady knew it was my birthday yesterday. She said they would serve me a complimentary cake as dessert later. The Chirashi bowl had tuna (2), salmon (2), shrimp (1), white fish (1), yellow tail (1), albacore (1), uni (1), smelt egg (1), tamago (1), & salmon egg. The portions were good, and the fish was so fresh and delicious. My hubby and older daughter liked their Chirashi bowls. For the una don (eel served over the rice), my younger daughter also liked it so much. I liked my Chilean Seabass. It was served with salad and miso soup. The Chilean Seabass was fresh and flavorful with a tangy, sweet flavor. They provided a piece of lemon wedge, so I squeezed some lemon juice on it before eating. Then the owner brought us the Japanese Yuzu cheesecake. I was surprised that the owner gave our entire party slices of complimentary cake, rather than just one for the birthday person; mine even came with a candle. It was very generous of them. The Yuzu cheesecake was very delicious. The service was great, and they were very friendly.
