very disappointing when going there today. the order was correct but you need to add your own milk in the coffee I walk over the machine it was empty I then grab the milk and put some in my coffee and place the open container in the area for other people to use I didn't realize this was not acceptable the worker came over about 15 mins later ask me about it I was honest and said yes I used it he stated I had to pay $3.25 extra because I don't work there and cant use that milk I agreed to pay because it was early and I just wanted peace, the lady at the counter was beyond rude and disrespectful telling me that's a sign of stealing ? really I was sitting at the table eating I didn't know it had to be a trained staff member to put milk in the milk dispensary learn how to talk to people and treat people with respect this went way out of control due to both workers ruddiness. read more

This bagel shop is pretty large, especially for NYC. It has a long counter for ordering, a section for drinks, and then multiple tables to sit at. We came here for the rainbow bagels and loved seeing all the bagel decor when we got there. There are so many cream cheese options, and you can get different sandwiches. I ended up putting salmon cream cheese in my rainbow bagel as a compromise between my desire for sweet and savory. My friend had the rainbow cream cheese so I tried it. It's almost like a cream cheese frosting, so while good, I'm glad I didn't get a huge dollop of that on my bagel. read more

This is my second time going to Bagel Belly to eat their gluten free bagels. The first time I went I just got a toasted bagel with butter and this time I got a bacon egg and cheese. I have to say that since going gluten free a solid bagel is something that I really miss, and most bagel shops that say they have gluten free bagels they'll come from a bag from some store or else they'll be wayyyy too tiny to be a breakfast sandwich. I have to agree for both the bacon egg and cheese and just a toasted bagel with butter that the flavor of the bagel itself is very very strong and almost overpowers everything else. The bagel is also really hard? Which isn't the most pleasant thing. So for people who would get cream cheese.. idk how you will feel! If bacon, eggs, cheese, salt, pepper, ketchup don't cover up the Taste of the bagel it might not be enjoyable. So overall I'm not sure if I would get this again. I usually get Tofu Scallion and you get a lot of it! The coffee is also amazing - they have different flavors, and you can fill the milk yourself (they have almond milk). 1 star: When I paid for my order, and asked for it to stay, the guy took out a fork and knife and put them down on top of a greasy filthy calculator that was sitting on the counter next to the register. That's unacceptable in the first place. When I asked for another one, he said he'd give me another one, and took them and reached under the counter, without looking, seeming like he was hoping to make it appear that they were new. If not, then he put them back in the bin. Totally unacceptable. The deli has a lot of different types of cream cheese. They truly have a wider range compared to different bagel places. they have a lot of sweet cream cheeses that I haven't seen before. Good descent bagels for the neighborhood. They had a really cool rainbow bagel, which is not a plain bagel with food coloring. They said it actually has a sweet taste, but they couldn't tell me where the sweetness is from, so I opted not to order it. It was also twice the price of a regular bagel. I had a ham, egg and cheese everything bagel, toasted. It was a solid bagel sandwich and quite good. The deli has a large selection of cream cheeses, lox, and also potato, macaroni and other salads. As I sat down, I opened a wrapper full of cream cheese and a rock solid bagel. It was so hard that I scraped the roof of my mouth. Hard bagel and a tub of fat stacked onto each other. Not a fan of bagel belly. It's the closest bagel joint to me, but I think I'll walk a little to avoid this place. I got a bagel and spread ($4.50), but needed to buy something to put me over the $5 credit card minimum. I foolishly ordered an iced coffee, what I thought was a safe bet. I'm a pretty non confrontational person, but had I taken a sip of this before being blocks away, I'd have asked for a refund or exchange. It tasted so old it made me gag. It was only 9am, I doubt it was made fresh this morning. I don't want to think it was mold or an unclean container but I just cannot imagine how it got to taste like that. Truly terrible, I'm not picky when it comes to coffee either- I just need caffeine. The bagel and cream cheese was equally awful. I've had grocery store bagels that were better and fresher.
