This Ballast Point in Long Beach has a great view of the waters and great food. I came for a Saturday lunch and it was extremely packed. Although the parking lot is big, it was difficult finding a spot. Inside is huge. There's outdoor seating, upstairs, in doors in the first floor. However, because of how crowded it was, finding a good spot was also tricky. Patients is virtue! For food, I tried the pastrami fries, flatbread pizza, and Cobb salad. They did a great job on these items and the portions were notable. Overall, I enjoyed my dining experience at Ballast Point. I hope they accept reservations for smaller parties in the future. I'd come back.

This was my first time coming to Ballast Point, and I had a blast. I went with my wife to watch some of the World Cup games, and the vibe was amazing! TVs in every corner, great views, and tasty food. The ordering setup was very unique. The whole place is open seating, and once you find a table, you scan the QR code located on it to start ordering your food and drinks. Food and beverages arrived within minutes of ordering. Overall, we had an excellent time, and I will definitely be coming back soon.

It was my first time at Ballast and the beer was excellent but after a couple of beers, these fries and wings hit so different. They were crispy but not dry. Love this place!

came here for a friend's birthday and they have plenty of seating indoor and outdoor, but parking can get scarce, especially in the evening! i have to say their patio is definitely a whole vibe though with the views of the water and fireplaces. they even had a dj playing on the top floor on saturday when we went. even with our large party, service was always nice and welcoming. drinks were good and they have a wide variety. the food we ordered were pretty good as well. everything came out fresh in about 15-20 minutes. it's a great, casual place to hang with friends.

Vibes: Chill, classy, great views Crowd: Surprisingly reasonable on a Friday evening Menu: lots of brew/bar food options Value for price: 5/5, good food flavors and nice beer prices Service: 5/5, friendly and quick Parking: plenty, private lot My friend and I met up at Ballast Point on a Friday afternoon for drinks/food. For such a lovely day, there was a surprisingly small crowd, and we had open pick of indoor seating (which has a view of the lake/sunset) and two levels of outdoor seating. We sat up top at a 2-person tall table with a spectacular sunset view. Lots of people were here on dates- great casual place to chat for extended periods of time. I had an IPA (I'm sorry I forgot which brew, but it was delicious) and my friend had a wine. Although there were water drops in her glass for some odd reason, both of us enjoyed our drinks. We shared the loaded pastrami fries (DELICIOUS, decadent treat with cubed flavorful pastrami), and each had the ahi poke bowl (generously portioned, lots of fish, sriracha mayo drizzle). They brought out heaters when it got cold. Highly recommend!

Great place to watch the sunset. Wall of glass is great. Views are so relaxing. Fantastic beer selections my go to is always a Hazy IPA also love a Black Marlin. Food is decent we live the Cauliflower tacos always on point. When ever the craving hits this is our go to place QR codes on the table make ordering fast and simple. Staff is friendly and the vibe is pretty cool. Music is current and a mix of styles. Young old all types of folks here.

Such a beautiful sight to see while drinking. They offer an outside patio, inside seating, and it's two stories. The food and drinks are all ordered from a QR code taking a little away from the service opportunity however our time there was beautiful. They had tvs to watch games and the location was clean. The only sad part was that 75% of the drinks were sold out come mid week.

Was in town so decided to swing by this location since I've never been here before and wow such a gorgeous location!!..I got the sculpin IPA and it was super tasty..I didn't eat any food from the location..walked out with a 6pk of sculpin for about 13$..being next the marina was such a beautiful sight to see i can just image how gorgeous the view is at night time.

Bring your out of town ppl here! The views are spectacular! We visited on a Friday around 5pm and it wasn't super crowded. Walk in, find a spot, scan the code, and start your order online and they bring your food to you. Hubby had the pastrami burger and I had the poke bowl. He had their beer on tap and I had a Hawaiian Mai tai. We were celebrating an early Mother's Day. I had such a great time! The servers were friendly and quick. I highly recommend!

Visited Ballast Point Brewing Long Beach on a Saturday afternoon with a party of 10 and had a really good experience overall. The view is beautiful and even with a larger group, finding self-seating was surprisingly easy. I also liked how simple it was to pay individually through the QR code system, which made splitting the bill hassle-free for everyone. I spent around $80 for 3 drinks, an appetizer, and an entree, which felt pretty reasonable for the location and atmosphere. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the food I ordered just wasn't really for my liking. I'd still come back though because the vibe, service setup, and scenery made it worth visiting, and I'd like to try different menu items next time.

The waterfront view is spectacular and is honestly the main reason to come here. We took a short stroll on the dock after dining here to take it all in. You can seat yourself wherever. Of course, most people go to the outdoor area with the nice view of the marina, so it can fill up quickly. Ordering is done via QR code. They have a good variety of craft beer to try. I'm not a big beer drinker, but I thought they were all good for what it's worth. As for the food, don't expect too much other than munchies to compliment the drinks. We shared the Ballast Point Wings and I ordered the Ballast Point Burger. The wings weren't the best and it really needed the sauces for added flavor. The burger was decent, but nothing special to justify the price. Overall, it's a fun environment to hang out with friends and have some drinks. Come for the drinks and view, just don't expect much from the food.

Sicilian-style pepperoni and sausage slice with crisp edges, melty cheese, and a cold beer on the side.

We have been there for breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can eat in or outside. They have a full bar and sometimes it gets a tad loud on weekend nights, but it is fine. We just eat inside. The place is clean, comfortable and super cute. It is right in Seal Beach and be patient trying to find parking. The service is great with the sole exception of the hostess. She is fine, but she needs to pay a little more attention. The rest of the staff is the best. They know their large menu and all the drinks they have. You will love them. The food is outstanding. We love their breakfast items. They have a pancake that my grandson loves that is chocolate and not thanks for me, but he thinks it is great. Their eggs, hash browns, waffles and plain pancakes are perfect. For lunch they have some of the best sliders with great buns and wonderful French fries. They also have ribs and all sorts of seafood. We love their fish and chips and they are often a special. The fried shrimp is great with super dipping sauces. Their sea food pots (the BOUNTY OF THE SEA POT)is my favorite) is so good and you can get it as a starter or for your main. We also love all their shrimp dishes. There is something for everyone. We love it.

Perhaps she should ask if the stroller can be stored on the side instead of assuming it needs to be at the table causing longer wait time and then have a condescension tone when asked how much longer. Once we were called to be seated she threw the tablet on the stand and the menus in the table. Completely unnecessary and awkward. Pretty much killing the mood for a simple bite to eat on a nice day at the beach. Then she had the nerve to lie to the manager and say she was cussed at when we asked to speak to the manager. No one deserves to be treated with such attitude. The manager mentioned that she was only 17. I said well hopefully this is a teachable moment for her. The server was great aside from that. Upscale Restaurant on 2nd Street with Delicious Food…read more I've visited Saint & Second on multiple occasions: for drinks, a casual lunch, and my birthday dinner. Reservations are fairly easy to get, which make it an optimal choice if I'm looking to have a nice meal. The ambiance of Saint & Second is what sets it apart from other Belmont Shore restaurants. There's indoor seating and rooftop seating upstairs, and both areas are designed impeccably. The food menu changes every few months, which is great because it allows the chefs to experiment with new menu items, but I have been left missing past items. When I returned for the third time for my favorite hummus, I found that it was discontinued for a nice, but less tasty green hummus (which leaned more into an avocado flavor than traditional hummus flavor). Overall, if you'd like to return to Saint and Second, you should expect some changes to menu items every few months and plan accordingly. One appetizer I'd recommend is the tuna on crispy rice. This is a consistent item with great flavors that trump other tuna crispy rice dishes I've had at other restaurants. The amount of fish on this item is generous. If you are celebrating your birthday here like I did, they offer a delcious smores-flavored dessert. However, this dessert is not complimentary, and we were charged without the server informing us of the dessert's price. Overall, in terms of food, this restaurant offers a fresh array of menu items. I believe the server told us that their kitchen is a scratch kitchen, which contributes to the great quality of the food.
