But you're going to have to forgive me a quick story. (I promise it'll be worth it.) ... It's Saturday, I'm at Ballers, and I have a problem. Tonight, there's a gathering and I offered to bring dessert. The problem? Later in the afternoon, I won't have time to drive to the store. My (sad) solution? Order something in the morning, stick it in the fridge, then bring it over in the evening. Cannolis. #Letsgo I place the order, turn to my friend, and tell him everything I just told you. The B&B team overhears it (I tend to talk loudly). Then the suggestion comes... "If the party is later tonight, I don't want you to get the wrong idea about our Cannolis. They're super delicious, but they won't taste quite as good if you don't eat them right away. Why don't you come back right before you leave. I know you don't have much time, so we'll have them ready for you." "Really? "Of course." Who could say no to that? The result? My friends and I enjoyed the best Cannolis in Burbank, hands down! I never write these reviews but understand this: if you want great pastries and organic coffee that taste like something you'd enjoy at a villa overlooking a Sardinian vineyard and prepared by the hands of next-level-dedicated artisans, go check out B&B. I always try to support small businesses as I'm an sb owner myself, but this one is totally ripping everyone off. Am I the only one shocked at their prices?? $7.99 for a SMALL hazelnut iced latte with soy milk... $1 extra for the soy and $0.75 extra for the hazelnut.. your base price should cover your ingredients... or at least the flavor? When I asked if the order was for a small, the lady helping me said yes but if you want we can upgrade you to a medium.. why offer an upgrade? Because you know your price is absolutely ridiculous.. just lower it then?? Very expensive and not worth it. I say this with respect and in support of small businesses, please reconsider your prices. We've come here several times and have gotten something different to eat each time. Highly recommend the ballers, every flavor we've tried is so good. We stan a cute mom n pop coffee place. We were in town for a trip to Universal. If you're in the burbank area (or vicinity) you owe yourself a visit here. The coffee hits. We got cold brew/ the viet cold brew both days, with a shot of espresso added the second day. (Kids in a theme park. You get it.) Smooth, refreshing, and a nice punch to fight the so cal sun. For my coffee I had a cold brew with maple cold foam and a splash of half-and-half; not too sweet or too bitter. Don't let the name fool you; this place is not a bar roaming with dudes! It's better; it's coffee and donuts as well as an assortment of sweets. One day, a kind person brought me a donut from this place. I brought it home as a treat for me and my son. We all thoroughly enjoyed this single glazed donut. The following weekend, our mission was to find this place and indulge. We had a little trouble finding this place, so drive slow and be on the lookout for an orange signage. We were greeted by the sweetest and friendliest women. She recommended the donut holes with topping choices - "ballers" - I think we got the Nutella topping. The batch of ballers was made fresh and was so yummy with their nutella topping. As we were eating, a friendly man stopped by to check in on us. I take it that these were the owners. I'm back, and yes I am continuing to frequent this place because their pastries are so so good! I now look forward to walking my dog here each time I get off from work early..it's like a reward lol! I tried their doughnuts recently, and they were so pillowy soft with just the perfect amount of sweetness. There was one person in front of us and she walked off with our order. The owner apologized profusely and gave us two maple donuts for free + our original order. Nutella ballers were AMAZING. we horked them down they were so good. Light and crispy with enough heft to handle the Nutella. The coffee was fantastic. It was smooth, not bitter, and flavorful. The maple donut was divine. It had just enough maple to not be sickly sweet and the donut was cooked perfectly. 100% would recommend for coffee or donuts. Can't wait to go back. read more

Tried this spot out for the first time and it won't be the last. I had the breakfast bagel which was delicious. The cream cheese was so soft and the eggs actually tasted good and I got the little donut balls, I got the cinnamon sugar flavor, they were so good!! I also got an Affogato which was really good. The coffee tasted great, and I got a French Toast latte which was still delicious but had a strong milky after taste. My wife and I stopped in today for some coffee and breakfast and we were throughly impressed! We ordered a Vietnamese coffee, a Açaí Bowl with Mango, and a Breakfast Bagel. Being as it was our first time visiting, the owners let us try some of their "ballers" bites... DELICIOUS! The service was fast and the atmosphere was comfy and quiet. What a profound experience! Keep in mind that this 5 star review is of a business that has been open for only 4 months and they already create so much joy in their community. I must also preface by saying that I am a trained barista at another local boutique coffee shop, so my response is of an educated stance. The very first moments of arriving, we were greeted by the kindest owners! The owners are people who truly enjoy connecting with their customers, and they make you feel right at home. Just as interested in learning who they are and how they came to be, they were equally invested in getting to know us. We ordered some of their jasmine green tea, and a shot of espresso. I was really curious to see what notes I could draw from it and it was absolutely delicious! Perfectly extracted, medium acidity (higher elevation & great roast & measurement), balanced, etc. It's very important to try the espresso alone to get an idea of how good someone's coffee is, and I'll tell you that they do an amazing job! Their lattes must be mouth watering with that kind of espresso ! When we pulled up to Ballers & Brew, we also took notice of their grand array of sweet pastries like their Donut balls aka "Ballers" (mother's recipe), cannolis (which are filled in front of you as part of the experience) and their ice cream! Ballers & Brew will be a place I can come back to time & time again to feel comfortable, to feel appreciated and to give appreciation. Happened to come across this place by accident and was so happy to find this hidden gem. The girl at the window was so helpful and friendly, I don't know why they aren't busier. They offer yummy and unique treats and coffee, tea and shake with different flavors and they have Boba!!! We got a hibiscus lemonade with boba and PB Jamm shake, and of course we had to try the cinnamon balls. Everything was delicious so we will definitely be back to try out more of the menu. read more
