I was craving pizza during the pandemic, but also too lazy to drive anywhere far. This restaurant is literally a 4 min drive my my house, and decided to give it a try. Upon entering, they have nice outdoor seating with cute lights and what not. Parking may be difficult to find along the narrow street and busy intersection, so you may need to make a couple of loops. Service was quick and friendly. The pizza, unfortunately for me, was just OK. We got the large Supreme, and the dough was a bit soggy, flat. The toppings (veggies) didn't have that nice crunch to them. For an expensive pizza, I was expecting something special, but I realized that a Costco pizza would have probably tasted better and for cheaper... regardless, it's a family business, and especially during these COVID times, I would still recommend this if you want a new place to try pizza. read more

Pizza was rubbery, burnt, cold and just bad and the cookies you'll break your teeth on. See the pic. They were so insanely burnt. I had to search for the delivery driver and retrieve my cold pizza from him. They flagged my review but it's 100% accurate of what my experience was so that's pretty messed up they don't want people to give their honest opinion which makes sense because this isn't a good review unfortunately. The whole reason Yelp exists is to tell others about their experience! I was hoping to like this place because this has been our pizza place for years now! What used to be Blazing Stone and is now Bambino Stone and it's not the same quality of good ole Blazing Stone. They have new management and it's not the same place! I was glad to have found this local pizza place near my house. I tried pick up a couple times but difficult parking has led me to always ordereing "contactless" drop off. I find the pizza yummy. Great thin crust, stone baked (so YES there is char) and the sauce is amazing. I always get sausage and extra mushrooms. I have also ordered the wings for my old man, which he loves. VERY DISAPPOINTING. Pizza was oily and not good at all! When you take a bite the dough feels tough. On top of that they gave me the wrong ingredients! I ordered chipotles chicken and got pesto! I will post photos. I also ordered wings and those were so disgusting I only ate 2 of 10. They were old and did not look fresh. So thankful for wing stop. They didn't even put the sauce on the wings. This place used to be great and my go to pizza spot. My last two times ordering though, the pizzas we've gotten through delivery have been burnt even though we have specified 'Lite Cook'. This latest order, part of the pizza was folded over on itself because of the way it was placed in the box. When I tried to call in and to someone about the order, I kept getting hung up on and then a recorded message they were not taking phone orders at this time. Staying at a hotel and found this pizza place to deliver, out of the hundreds In L.A. this was amazingly delicious pizza! The crust is outstanding, thin and has a nice chewy crunch, medium for two ppl, half BBQ chicken and other artichoke. Full of flavor with a good portion of toppings at a reasonable price. Came here for the first time with a Vegan friend. He ordered the Vegan Supreme Pizza. They do not have the Vegan menu posted. Had to ask the guy at the register. Now I'm not a Vegan but I figured, it can't be THAT bad... The crust was crispy. The pizza was sort of bland. The worst part was the tomato sauce and Vegan cheese. It was some gooey lumpy mess. I only had one slice and that was it. The next day I had another slice and I put mozzarella cheese on it. That didn't save it. I'm not sure what all that gooeyness is on top of the pizza. read more

We just stumbled across this place while driving in the area and looking for ANYWHERE in the area to eat (not exactly Restaurant Row here). It was hard to find parking, and then we walked into the patio area and saw only one other client there. About 9 pm on a Wednesday. The Dodgers vs. the Padres on a nice size flat screen. We ordered a large Supreme. The patio is nice and lit just right and spacious. Conrad and family were all bright and cheery and friendly. We joked easily. I was all prepared to get just an average pizza. But, wow! This was the best pizza I have ever had in L.A. Maybe anywhere. And I have eaten in many of New York's and some of Chicago's finest. Conrad was helpful and friendly to family. We were all given glass plates and good silverware when I asked for it. Not a huge drink variety, but they assured us that they are working to have OK to serve beer. Just not there yet. This was yesterday and I am already telling friends. When I first ordered pizza there, I had an issue with the quality, but I have ordered there many many times after and they have definitely made up. I loved stopping by at lunch to grab a couple slices as well as order custom pizza for delivery. I absolutely love their crust and their rustic sauce. I know they change their hours often, so definitely call or check online. I really wish they were open for lunch again, but I know there are reasons for everything. This place must have changed ownership but are living off the the old Blazing Stone name by literally copying the names of all of their Pizzas. Even the sauces have the same names (rustic, gravy) to fool people into thinking it's Blazing Stone. This pizza is off. It's soft, the sauce lacks flavor and the ingredients are lower quality. The interior has changed too it doesn't resemble an inviting atmosphere. It feels like you're walking in on people who don't want to be disturbed. When I walked in to let them know I ordered online the guy just says okay. And turns around without saying anything. Usually they tell you it's not ready yet or it'll be a minute. Just crickets. You could tell by the Banda music and food product and Cleaning materials next to the pizza counter this is a place where the back of the house has taken over the front of the house. It's actually a really nice building and seating area. Too bad, since now it feels like you're walking into a local Pizza Hut, just to pick up and leave. I won't be back. read more

I'm not understanding the high marks. I was excited to give this place a try and wanted to like them but was completely underwhelmed. I ordered 1/2 Pepperoni + 1/2 White: the crust was dense and cheese was rubbery. The toppings were flavorful but the entire experience just fell flat. read more

My pizza and wings were cooked to order and they were delicious! I was also super pleased with the customer service, they explained the menu, asked about the cook of my wings, and then brought the pizza out to my car (for carry-out). Had a few people eating and more came in after us. Ordered the 18 inch Double Down on the house crust with spicy sauce and it was dee-licious!! The spicy sauce isn't really that spicy, but ingredients are good and the crust is amazing! Everyone who works there is also super friendly. So I hadn't returned to this place for years...my first couple of visits, I was very pleased with their lunch specials. This recent visit was beyond expectations. First bite into the pizza (artichoke and spinach), I was amazed at the crust. I don't think I have had a better crust. Simple yet perfect. It was light, and crispy, and doughy, and yummy, nothing overwhelming by being too bready or unnecessary added flavor. It was great, little did I know that they pride themselves on their crust, I later read this on their website: "LA THIN ( THIN ALL AROUND WITH CRISPY OUTER CRUST OR HOUSE CRUST ( A THIN IN THE MIDDLE WITH A FLUFFY EDGE)...no joke, so good...of course that is my opinion, but I gotta say my brother agreed, and so did my parents, who are hard to please. I was not a fan of beets up until a few months ago, so when I come across a beet salad, I order it. I do not enjoy prepping beets myself. Anyway, their beet salad is good, especially with that burrata cheese! Being an omnivore, the meal was completed with a meatball appetizer, that satisfied my protein craving. Parking might be a little difficult, you may have to walk a little bit, but so worth it. And the seating area is quaint. I'd say a casual date works here. A small gathering of friends for sure. When I first saw the sign that a pizza place was opening down the street from my house I was ecstatic. I waited and waited for the this place to open up and I somehow completely missed the grand opening. After my best friend came here for dinner I knew I had to try it as well. The inside is relatively small, about 2-3 tables, but there are several tables on the outside. I came in and ordered a Supreme 18" pizza to go. They told me it would be about 20-25 minutes and they weren't kidding. Pretty much at the 20 minute mark they called me up to grab my pizza. You can ask for pepper, Parmesan cheese and ranch to go, so I suggest you take advantage. That came out to about $21, but you can get a 12" or individual slices as well. My first thought when I got home and opened the pizza box was that they do not hold back on toppings. They are very generous and extremely friendly so feel free to ask extra of any topping or to customize one of their pizzas. The 18" pizza is huge and this includes each slice. I could barely hold it with two hands, let alone one. But that first bite will leave you extremely happy you got the large. The cheese oozes off the pizza with each bite and you can tell the toppings are fresh. I had tons of leftovers and even reheated in the microwave the pizza was great because it tasted just about the same, plus it wasn't stale or overly crunchy. I seriously can't wait to go back and try some of their other pizzas. read more

I wish I read the recent reviews before ordering!!! I'm sooo saddened we didn't get to try the original spot before management changeover. I knew something was amiss when we drove by and saw that the decor/logo had changed. We ordered the blazing chicken and everything about it was rubbery. The chicken, the crust. Rubbery and droopy...chicken and cheese tasted old. Such a waste of a meal and calories lol! Why did we have to get the largest size pizza?! Went here a few weeks ago. Blazing Stone was our go to weekly pizza place since they opened years back. When we went to order online we noticed that the name was different and appeared to be under new ownership. The service was fine, but the pizza was not the same. The sausage was of lower quality, and you could taste the difference in the cheese and sauce. Also, the dough and crust were not the same, and the bottom of the pizza had powder all over it to where it stuck to the roof of your mouth. We will need to find a new go to moving forward. read more

Was a big fan of Blazing Stone and wanted to give the new management a chance. I ordered on line to be delivered and had to verify my account and when I put the verification in my phone crashed so I had to call the order in, sadly by doing that you can't leave a tip on your card FYI. So far so good order in and pizza arrived in 30 min!! Hot and looks like the same pizza we loved. The crust was the same but the ingredients were off. We ordered the Supreme and it usually had more pepperoni and sauce. The sauce was close needs more seasoning and a bit more sauce on it. Overall it was pretty close but lacked the flavors from before and the sausage was dry and not nice. I will try again as I am sure they are working out the kinks and will get in stride.
