Both items were so generous and actually fairly large! It also came with a side of their orange sauce for the rolls and fish sauce, veggies/herbs, and chilies on the side for guests who love spicy. Definitely larger portions and super affordable. We picked up the items 30 mins before our party started, and they were still fresh and crispy throughout the whole night! I was expecting the banh khot to get soggy/be soggy but it held up very nicely. I love the way they packaged everything and would 100% recommend for those who need easy finger food for their parties. Also ordering from them was very easy. I did it online a week in advance and they texted me at exactly 530p to let me know it was ready for pickup. Inside was a little small, considering it's mostly pickup and go, but loved how quick and easy everything was!

Pour their sweet and savory fish sauce all over it and add some of the red chili peppers if you want some heat. Excellent! + Their fried items are also what separates this place from some of the others. The egg roll is crispy and the fried shrimp cake actually has a nice big shrimp on there. Even the slightly steamed bean sprouts and herbs work perfectly with everything else on the plate. + This time I ordered the smaller plate with just the meat-filled bánh cuốn instead of the Đặc Biệt. It's around $15 and is actually the perfect amount for me where I'm full but not overly stuffed. However, for only a couple bucks more, I'd still recommend the Đặc Biệt. You just get so much more food! Service/Ambiance (3.5-4 stars) + Service is pretty standard for a Vietnamese restaurant. They're not constantly coming around to refill your water, but if you raise your hand or flag someone down, they'll come over and help you. Nobody is looking the other way pretending they didn't see you! + The restaurant itself is pretty small inside, but they have a much larger outdoor seating area. We came during lunch and didn't have to wait long. + I brought my dog Marley so we sat outside. It was a warm day but there was enough airflow that it was actually pretty comfortable. - One strange thing I've noticed during my last two visits: the water has a slight soapy taste. Maybe that's proof they do an excellent job washing their cups, but they could probably use an extra rinse! This time I just brought my own water. 4 years after my original 5-star review, nothing has really changed for me. I've had plenty of bánh cuốn around the Bay Area and this is still the place I compare everyone else to. The staff is always efficient and nice, and after all these years, the food remains consistently good. The biggest downside is parking. I'll be honest, I'm not really down with Vietnamese dessert drinks called che. They're okay. I grew up around the stuff but never was a big fan of it. Well, my friends and family were raving about this place for a long time. I finally went there with some friends on a hot afternoon. And I must say....I was shocked. The che here was GREAT! So many different kinds to choose from. A little more expensive than what you'd find in Vietnamese sandwich joints, but you're getting double or triple the amount. And, they're made when you order. It's not premade che cups that could have been sitting there for days. We all shared the different che's and they were all delicious! On a hot summer day, it's so refreshing! read more

This review is for the Jasmine milk tea. I had a really disappointing Jasmine milk tea the day before and wanted to make up for it. My friend told me that Bambu's was really good since you get a lot of the tea flavor and it's not too sweet. I was surprised since I've only ever gotten che here which is what I think they're more known for. The che is pretty good btw for a hot day. The Jasmine milk tea was perfect! I didn't adjust the sweetness at all and it had the right amount of floral bitterness from the Jasmine and sweet-creaminess from the milk. I highly recommend!! read more

Horrible customer service. I bought 4 drinks one of them being the hazelnut coffee with jelly and it came out being blend one and I wanted the ice one but she didn't exchange it for me. She argued that it is my mistake. It is so bad customer service. It is just a drink and it can be easily change to make your customer happy especially I always order a lot when I go there. She would hundred of $$ of future business then to lose the cost of about 50cents. It would never come back there. read more

I like this place, its desserts seem to always be made of fresh and super quality fruits. All the smoothies i've tried are sooo good and I have a good feeling the ones I haven't tried are tasty too. I've never been to other bambus so I can't really compare but I don't think this place is problematic based on my experiences! I don't really like their milk teas much though, the flavors don't taste that good and usually are really sweet so I have to ask for less sugar. read more

There are a few seating areas if you want to hang out before you hit the road again. I ordered the Shredded Chicken Sandwich and a Jasmine Milk Tea.
