    Pad Thai Jay Dinner
    Stacy W.

We always order for pickup and I never go in, so I can't speak to the service or ambiance but I can speak about the food. The food is always amazing. Recently I got the pad Thai jay, but the time before that I got the tofu pad see ew. Everything is always so fresh and delicious. It's always made perfectly and is still piping hot by the time we get home. It never takes them a long time to make it either. I always get the Thai tea too because it's just so good. We also usually get the crab rangoons too. Sometimes I will get a vegetarian soup or some spring rolls. Seriously you cannot go wrong with anything you order from here.

There are other locations that are better (Norfolk). My (chicken) Pad Ka Na (sautéed chicken with garlic and broccoli) was dry, the rice was about 2 days old or seemingly so. Service was good.

My wife and I took our neighbor here to celebrate him before he moved. Our neighbor selected this restaurant and we both agreed that it was a good choice. I liked the location, and that they have their own parking lot. I wish I had known this before I parked. It was clean and set a nice ambience. The hostess and our server Cookie were friendly. I appreciated that they were patient with us when we were figuring out what to order. They even gave us suggestions, which I appreciate it since this is our first time eating here. My dish was very tasty and flavorful, but I must say the spice levels are intense! I got a level two and it was more than spicy enough for me. Next time I go back, I will probably get a level one. I recommend trying a level one or two and working your way up to level three or higher if your body is sensitive to spicy foods like mine is. When it was time for the check, and I paid, Cookie noticed that I was wearing scrubs and we had an awesome conversation about careers. It really meant a lot that she took a little bit of time to know me a little better. I felt like more than just a customer. My wife and I both agreed that we would come back!

I love Thai food, and this was no exception. We popped in on a Wednesday evening around 530. It was pretty slow, and our server was very quick and attentive. Everything came out prettu quickly, and it was all great. We started with some spring rolls, fresh rolls, and the fried calamari. I really appreciated that the rolls could be ordered by the piece. Everyone knows fresh rolls are best FRESH, and it was nice to have just how many we needed with no leftovers. The calamari was delicious, perfectly fried without that overly rubbery texture that some places put out. Our table did two orders of the Beef Pad Thai: heaping plates packed with flavor. But the real stunner for us was the Pumpkin Curry. I have never had such an amazing curry in my life... and ok, maybe my Curry experience is somewhat limited, but this one was phenomenal. Such an array of flavors from slightly sweet to a kick of spice, and the creamy silky texture... we will be thinking about this one until our next visit back.

Talk about AUTHENTICATION . Inside the establishment made me feel like I was in Thailand, I mean literally. The food was fresh and both my wife and I could see that they weren't cheap with the portions the meat, shrimps and iced coffee with milk were big. Note, if you're really from Thailand don't expect super spicy food like my wife ordered. She stated it wasn't hot enough for her. But we get it the restaurant wants to appeal to the average American who can't handle the burn in their mouth . Bowl dishes were Tom yon goon and Tom young guy. Prices were reasonable and the food was delicious. Service was prompt and servants attentive. Drop buy if you're in the area and tell them the Guru sent ya The Review Guru Long Island NY

Good to dine in here once in awhile but the way they cook food is not the same. I think, the peice of fried tilapia is over kil.

I went here around 2pm on a Saturday afternoon. It wasn't too busy and there was r&b music playing in the dining area. Our server was very quick to acknowledge us and got our drinks and appetizers out in immediately. I had ordered a Thai ice tea, chicken satay , and beef pad Thai. The Thai tea is served in a hugeeee gauntlet and is the perfect creamy sweet taste for the tea. The satay was piping out when it came out and had a delicious curry taste to it. My beef pad Thai was good as well I wish it had a bit more sauce and added spice to it, but nevertheless this is my fav Thai place to go to in the 757. Our total was $42 for the tea, pad thai and chicken satay.

Ate here for the first time with my friend. The food was AMAZING, we shared the red curry and drunken noodles (pad kee mao). We also shared the spring rolls (not pictured) and each had a Thai iced tea. Everything was delicious and had great flavor. The menu had a wide variety, this place is a worth a try. Staff was very nice as well.

Best Thai restaurant in town! I have been coming here for almost 30 years. Everything is fresh and delicious! Amazing service too! Love this place!

The Tom yum talay is a must! It's sour, spicy, and refreshing! I will definitely return for some more. The pad Thai was just okay - too sweet for my liking. But in the future I will try other things. This place has potential! Service was pretty standard. There was only one waitress for the entire restaurant so the slower service was understandable

I have been coming to this place for many years and to me they are one of the best Thai places in town. The staff is always very friendly; they recommend the best dishes and always provide background on the customs in Thailand. It makes the whole experience different when you understand more about the culture. The food is amazing!

Is this restaurant open on Sunday and do they deliver?

Yes, open on Sunday. You have to call for pick up. Not sure if you can order through any of the delivery services like Uber Eats, DoorDash, etc.

It was warm, comforting, and I Liked the big pieces of tofu and mushrooms. I'm still not entirely sure what the dumplings were...they were an odd texture to me, kind of gooey and soft, but the outside had a slight crunch to it. I can't even really describe the taste, either. I didn't taste the chives, though I saw plenty of them. The sauce was a savory flavor I'd never had before and I didn't particularly like it. I don't feel like it enhanced the dumpling. Maybe it'd be better with another sauce? The fried rice was typical thai fried rice. Steaming hot, veggies still have a crisp, flavored well. No surprises here. Ordering online was simple, pickup was easy and fast, and the place looked nice and clean inside (though I didn't stay to eat it there). I was greeted with a smile and I left with a smile, so no complaints.

I started with the chicken spring rolls, and they were perfect. Light, crisp, and clearly made fresh. Then came the red curry... and honestly, this is where they won me over completely. I have eaten a lot of Thai food over the years, at restaurants all over, and this was by far the best red curry I have ever had. The coconut curry was incredibly rich but not heavy, with deep layers of flavor that tasted slow crafted rather than rushed. The chicken was tender, the vegetables fresh, and the sauce was so good I didn't want to leave a drop behind. You can tell when a restaurant cooks with pride and care, and this place absolutely does. Friendly service, comforting atmosphere, and food that genuinely stands out from the crowd. If you're anywhere near Virginia Beach and craving Thai, do yourself a favor and go.
