There are other locations that are better (Norfolk). My (chicken) Pad Ka Na (sautéed chicken with garlic and broccoli) was dry, the rice was about 2 days old or seemingly so. Service was good.

My wife and I took our neighbor here to celebrate him before he moved. Our neighbor selected this restaurant and we both agreed that it was a good choice. I liked the location, and that they have their own parking lot. I wish I had known this before I parked. It was clean and set a nice ambience. The hostess and our server Cookie were friendly. I appreciated that they were patient with us when we were figuring out what to order. They even gave us suggestions, which I appreciate it since this is our first time eating here. My dish was very tasty and flavorful, but I must say the spice levels are intense! I got a level two and it was more than spicy enough for me. Next time I go back, I will probably get a level one. I recommend trying a level one or two and working your way up to level three or higher if your body is sensitive to spicy foods like mine is. When it was time for the check, and I paid, Cookie noticed that I was wearing scrubs and we had an awesome conversation about careers. It really meant a lot that she took a little bit of time to know me a little better. I felt like more than just a customer. My wife and I both agreed that we would come back!

I love Thai food, and this was no exception. We popped in on a Wednesday evening around 530. It was pretty slow, and our server was very quick and attentive. Everything came out prettu quickly, and it was all great. We started with some spring rolls, fresh rolls, and the fried calamari. I really appreciated that the rolls could be ordered by the piece. Everyone knows fresh rolls are best FRESH, and it was nice to have just how many we needed with no leftovers. The calamari was delicious, perfectly fried without that overly rubbery texture that some places put out. Our table did two orders of the Beef Pad Thai: heaping plates packed with flavor. But the real stunner for us was the Pumpkin Curry. I have never had such an amazing curry in my life... and ok, maybe my Curry experience is somewhat limited, but this one was phenomenal. Such an array of flavors from slightly sweet to a kick of spice, and the creamy silky texture... we will be thinking about this one until our next visit back.

Talk about AUTHENTICATION . Inside the establishment made me feel like I was in Thailand, I mean literally. The food was fresh and both my wife and I could see that they weren't cheap with the portions the meat, shrimps and iced coffee with milk were big. Note, if you're really from Thailand don't expect super spicy food like my wife ordered. She stated it wasn't hot enough for her. But we get it the restaurant wants to appeal to the average American who can't handle the burn in their mouth . Bowl dishes were Tom yon goon and Tom young guy. Prices were reasonable and the food was delicious. Service was prompt and servants attentive. Drop buy if you're in the area and tell them the Guru sent ya The Review Guru Long Island NY

Good to dine in here once in awhile but the way they cook food is not the same. I think, the peice of fried tilapia is over kil.

I went here around 2pm on a Saturday afternoon. It wasn't too busy and there was r&b music playing in the dining area. Our server was very quick to acknowledge us and got our drinks and appetizers out in immediately. I had ordered a Thai ice tea, chicken satay , and beef pad Thai. The Thai tea is served in a hugeeee gauntlet and is the perfect creamy sweet taste for the tea. The satay was piping out when it came out and had a delicious curry taste to it. My beef pad Thai was good as well I wish it had a bit more sauce and added spice to it, but nevertheless this is my fav Thai place to go to in the 757. Our total was $42 for the tea, pad thai and chicken satay.

Ate here for the first time with my friend. The food was AMAZING, we shared the red curry and drunken noodles (pad kee mao). We also shared the spring rolls (not pictured) and each had a Thai iced tea. Everything was delicious and had great flavor. The menu had a wide variety, this place is a worth a try. Staff was very nice as well.

Best Thai restaurant in town! I have been coming here for almost 30 years. Everything is fresh and delicious! Amazing service too! Love this place!

I have been coming to this place for many years and to me they are one of the best Thai places in town. The staff is always very friendly; they recommend the best dishes and always provide background on the customs in Thailand. It makes the whole experience different when you understand more about the culture. The food is amazing!

Bangkok Garden is the first restaurant I recommend when it comes to Thai food. Whether you order take out, or eat inside, the experience from start to finish is amazing! Service is always friendly and prompt. During our most recent visit, they were out of the hot fish oil. But no need to fret-- our server made us a homemade hot oil! They truly go above and beyond for their customers. We love starting with the spring rolls. They come out HOT and we could drink the dipping sauce with a straw. We also love the salad you get with dinner-- again, great dressing!! The Pad Thai has never let me down, and my husband swears by the Pad Kee Mao (he likes to add broccoli!). We love Bangkok and will be visiting for years to come!

I chose the $25 option, which included an appetizer, an entrée, and a dessert. For the appetizer, I picked the shrimp rolls and crab rangoons. You get two shrimp rolls and four crab rangoons with a side of sauce. It was a really solid starter--perfect to hold you over until the main dish. I also loved that it was a duo, so you didn't have to choose between the two. That was definitely a plus. For my entrée, I ordered the shrimp pad thai, and this was actually my first time ever trying pad thai. I wanted to try something different, and I'm so glad I did because it was really, really good. I would honestly go back just for this dish alone. The shrimp was cooked well, the noodles had the perfect amount of flavor, and the portion size was very satisfying. No complaints at all. For dessert, you can choose between coconut ice cream or fried bananas. My friend got the coconut ice cream, and I got the fried bananas, and we ended up splitting both. Together? Delicious. They do offer them together as part of the $35 option, but since we both did the $25, we just shared--and it worked out perfectly. The customer service was also great. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted and seated right away. They kept our table clean, cleared plates quickly after each course, and checked on us throughout the meal. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, professional, and happy to give recommendations. Overall, I would definitely go back to try more of their food. This was a really good experience from start to finish.

I started with the chicken spring rolls, and they were perfect. Light, crisp, and clearly made fresh. The wrapper had that delicate crunch that never feels greasy, and the filling was flavorful and balanced. The dipping sauce tied everything together with just the right sweet tang. Then came the red curry... and honestly, this is where they won me over completely. I have eaten a lot of Thai food over the years, at restaurants all over, and this was by far the best red curry I have ever had. The coconut curry was incredibly rich but not heavy, with deep layers of flavor that tasted slow crafted rather than rushed. The spice level warmed you without overpowering the dish, and every bite tasted intentional. The chicken was tender, the vegetables fresh, and the sauce was so good I didn't want to leave a drop behind. You can tell when a restaurant cooks with pride and care, and this place absolutely does. Friendly service, comforting atmosphere, and food that genuinely stands out from the crowd. If you're anywhere near Virginia Beach and craving Thai, do yourself a favor and go.
