Pretty good for basically fast casual food court burgers. I got the Hawaiian burger, and it was well cooked, juicy, tender. Cheese melty, gooey. The pineapple actually tasted fresh, not canned. The chicken sandwich, every time we've ordered it, has been too salty and overcooked, making the meat unpleasantly chewy, but I do enjoy the combination of their sauce and pickles with the crispy texture of the batter. Loco moco is okay. I honestly think that due to the high foot traffic, they tend to rush cooking the food, which come out either under or over seasoned and over cooked. Now, their garlic fries are my favorite! But I am a fry girl lol so I may be a bit biased. If you're hungry, this is a decent place to fill your stomach. They've got a nice open seating area for you to enjoy the music flowing out of Kuhio food hall, which is always a plus! After a quick nap, we came here for dinner. We ordered 4 sandwiches (pipeline, 2 Kuhio chicken & local catch), regular fries and garlic fries. Out of the 3 different sandwiches, I was able to try the chicken and the fish sandwiches. Both meats were juicy and hot. Unfortunately, the patty itself lacked flavor. Since I don't eat beef, I didn't try the pipeline. However, hubby said the burger was good. As for the garlic fries, it had garlic flavor but the fries were somewhat soggy. What we order I ordered the Hawaiian Burger; it was tasty but had too much teriyaki sauce. My husband had the Waimea Burger with the right amount of banzai sauce, he was pleased with his choice. We also ordered a side of fries each (It didn't come with the burger), but just one order could have been enough for both of us. First wise ordering our food was fine - I asked the guy what was better the burgers or the fish?? He couldn't give me an answer. Anyways we ordered our food and waited to go. We ordered the fresh fish burger and a chicken burger and fries. The fries weren't salted at all so we had to manually salt our fries what we got back to our hotel, 2) the crispy chicken burger was overcooked and was soooo dry, and 3) the guy that took our ordered was busy restocking the sodas and forgot to get our food after someone asked their orders that were sitting at the counter. My fish burger was good. I enjoyed it - I thought it was like a filet fish at McD almost. I would try again. Our first stop after settling down in the hotel. We didn't want something we'd have to wait too long to be seated and to order. However, it was a bit confusing who was in line and who already ordered as there were 2 entrances from the inside the marketplace and from the street. Once that was figured out - order process was simple since not many items in the menu. I did goof up and forgot to order the fries on side for each burger. Burgers came out within 10-15 min. They are the fall apart burgers so make sure to grab lots of napkins. My loco moco was tasty and had plenty of gravy to go with the burger patty and eggs.
