Disclaimer- I don't like this kind of mom & pop Chinese food. If I want Chinese food, I'll go to China Town. This place is shockingly good. We went there for lunch on Friday, wife ordered General Tso's chicken & mine was Pepper steak. I have to say I always find it distasteful when the restaurants serve big pieces of chicken (the size of golf ball) and this place was no difference. I didn't try my wife's dish because of this reason. For me, pepper steak was really tender and the sauce was perfectly flavored. Came with a cup of soup (chose hot & sour which was a bit too salty for me) and steam rice. The amount was a Texas size for lunch. I have to say this place is the 1st place that I think they serve too much GOOD food for a plate that's less than $9. We have 1 Chinese fast food in front of our subdivision that serves the same kind of food but quantity was more important than quality. This place is just what I was looking for (good food, I don't even care about quantity but they have too much). Will be back for sure read more

There are several chinese food restaurants in my area and decided to try this new one in my area for delivery. #1 the food is not overcooked and has been great each time I have ordered. #2 This is my go to place for Chinese Now because of their consistency in delivering food that taste like is was prepared to order. Hello this is my 2nd year ordering from this place. Last year I ordered over $2000.00 from them and this year I have been ordering more often. I order the same thing all the time,2 orders of the house wonton soup and one dinner with 2 bottles of COKE. I ask for the cripspy noodles and this time I ask for a 3rd bag and she told me she had to charge me $! for the 3rd bag. I dold he if I went to there store to eat and ask for more noodles they would not charge me that $1 and with all the business I doo wilth the she was going to charge me $1 for noodles. I told he that I did not feel good about this and I now will be taking my business to Sesame House they sell the same soup. She told me that was the rule. Not one of the best ideas to lose $2000.00 over a $1 bag of noodles. One more thing It is not the $1 it is how this made me feel. read more

I absolutely love this place! I have the orange chicken every time. They have huge chicken pieces, white meat. The sauce isn't too sweet. The fried rice is good but may need a little more flavor. They have quick service which is good. The food is always hot and fresh. I definitely will keep coming back. read more

When you walk in everything is extremely clean and neat. The scenery was beautiful and the music they played was very relaxing. The menus were well put together extremely easy to read with lots of pictures !! I love to be able to see the food I'm thinking about ordering so that was extremely helpful. The staff was very welcoming and polite. They got our food to us fairly quickly. Then I was shocked at how well displayed all our food was it looked very pleasing to look at! On top of that they serve extremely large portions! I got the sesame chicken by the way. It was delicious! The sauce was great and because it was such large portions I got take it home and eat it for lunch the next day. I'm happy about that. I just had a wonderful experience there and I don't see how any one could give this place a bad review. Totally recommend you check it out ASAP. read more

This restaurant was a very nice experience today. I found a reincarnation of a restaurant in Webster that closed many years ago. We had some classic Chinese dishes: Vegetable Spring Rolls, Sizzling Rice Soup, Hot and Sour Soup, Generals Chicken, and Mu Shu Pork with Pancakes. Each of these dishes was an almost exact rendition of those I had nearly 20 years before. The soup broths were rich and correctly spiced. The Spring Roll was crisp in both the vegetables and the crust. Nothing was overlooked or improperly seasoned. I will certainly go back and eat there again. read more

Delivery was very, very fast. Impressive. However, the food was kinda blah. Kung Pao chicken tasted and looked like a bad version of General Tso's. maybe 2-3 peanuts in the whole dish. Very good Chinese food. Lunch menu prices and quantity of food were great. We had the sweet and sour chicken which was very good. The general chicken was excellent but could of used more spice. Great new place! We came Sunday at lunch time and were pleased to find out they still do the lunch specials on the weekends...for around $7 you get a good amount of food so you can't beat that! I got the pepper steak and it was delicious, the meat is super tender! It was enough for my and my son to share! My husband got the jalapeño beef. His beef was also super tender and tasted similar to my pepper steak but his was spicy. We both got fried rice which was great. For the appetizer we got a spring roll and egg drop soup, both delicious. I would definitely recommend coming here!! read more

Last meal at this restaurant, I had order fried rice and veggies in brown sauce. It ended up having a dead baby caterpillar. The staff was unapologetic and would accept it was a bug. The lady kept saying fresh veggies contain these. Will not be returning here again. read more

As far as neighborhood Chinese food places go, it's hard to find better. From dumplings to lo mein to rice with generously sized pieces of chicken, beef, shrimp, etc., everything is good to very good. The one thing they don't have on the menu that I miss from other places is beef teryaki (on kabob sticks). The LC location is in a convenient spot (in the new Kroger plaza on LCP). Delivery is always prompt, usually about 30 minutes if you're west of 45. Also worth mentioning: the one time they messed up our delivery order (switched our order with someone else's), they very quickly brought us the food we ordered, called us to confirm it was fixed, and on top of that comped us a free future meal (the exact same order). Sure enough, a few weeks later we called, they gave us our free meal without us even asking, and everything was perfect when it arrived. So the committment to great service is above and beyond just about any other restaurant. Give Bao's a chance. I think you'll be glad you did. read more

Bao's is great! I don't dine in often, but place orders to go fairly often. The staff is always extremely nice and I get my food quickly. The lunch special is a great price for the amount of food and I love the Broccoli Beef. I definitely plan on continuing frequent visits. read more

Hurricane Harvey,I get it. WHEN ANY BUSINESS TAKES ADVANTAGE OF A CUSTOMER NO MATTER HOW SMALL IT JUST PISSES ME OFF ! Just left there after waiting in line to order a take out and was told that they are not doing any lunch orders even though there menu says lunch SERVED EVERYDAY 11:00 AM TO 3:00 PM. When I ask why there answer was because of the storm. When I ask them what that had to do with anything they just looked at me with a blank face and just kept repeating no lunch,no lunch. I left. I know that it was just about 4 dollars more for a dinner but right is right and wrong is wrong. We were very fortunate to have plenty of needed food at the house nearby but we just wanted something different. We had never tried this place and since hardly anybody else was open we decided to give this place a try and also because we always try to support local businesses. This business is wrong for doing that just like people selling water for too much or hotels jacking up there prices. As-holes just trying to make an extra buck. Horrible ! read more

When we first tried this place we loved it food is fast and good. Portions seemed smaller than other places for the price but no biggie. We switched to this place from our regular Takeout at Wongs. We ordered for a while without a single problem. More recently our experience has taken a turn. The last three orders have either been completely cold food, tons of egg shells in the food, or wrong. First time I didn't complain. The second time when my daughters fried rice was full of crunchy eggshells I called. The manager was apologetic and said he would give me a free one next time and refunded the rice. Not a problem. Now tonight I placed our order and lady on the phone was rude...didn't make an issue...but when the food got here our order yet again, wrong. They gave us lomane (spelling?) instead of the fried rice they were going to replace. I have picky kids but told them to just eat it and called them just to let them know. Wasn't going to make an issue..the lady then proceeded to tell me that no, I hadn't ordered the fried rice but had ordered the lomane. She then argued with me over and over very rudely that I was wrong and that's what I had ordered. How can that be when we were simply replacing the fried rice in the first place??? It was in their computer as free kids fried rice! So guess we're going back to wongs from now on. We really liked the food but that's just horrible customer service! read more
