1st time here! Was greeted right away. There is an expansive menu selection to choose from. You also receive huge loafs of bread on the house with your meal. Although, they do have nice service their food wasn't spectacular, especially for the price. We even tried several different options but nothing worth coming back for. My cousin and I had dinner here on 8/07/25. We had seperate checks and we did not leave a tip for our server because he was very rude. We asked for a few more rolls after he brought our food and he never returned and we sat there with empty glasses. I recieved my bank statement and notice this server added his own tip to my bill after we left. I have called several times to speak to the owner and they said she was out of town. This is considered fraud and theft and is against the law. It is illegal for a restaurant or any business to add a mandatory gratuity without properly informing the customer beforehand. I do not know if the owner or manager is aware this server is doing this. I will be contacting the Flower Mound Police about this and will be meeting with my attorney to see what action I can take next. My credit card receipt shows the name Seni Z was our server. I would advise anyone that has dined here to make sure to check your credit card bill. read more

For our first post-quarantine venture out to a restaurant we chose Bari's. The dining room was nearly empty for a Saturday night but this was by no means a reflection of the quality of food or service. I believe it was simply due to the reduced capacity guidelines for all restaurants. Once seated we were immediately provided with a basket of soft, warm rolls with an oil & vinegar dipping sauce. Then came our appetizer, fried calamari served with a generous portion of marinara sauce. The breading on the calamari was light and crispy, not too heavy or greasy, definitely among the best versions we have had. Our entrees were soon to follow fresh and piping hot. Out of all of the dishes the chicken Siciliano stood out as the best of the bunch. The diablo sauce (a recommended substitute by our server) had the perfect balance of sweetness and acidity along with a touch of heat. The rigatoni Toscana with pink sauce was a close second. Once again the sauce, a hearty and creamy tomato/alfredo blend, being the highlight of the dish. The Special pizza deserves an honorable mention as well because their expertise isn't limited to pasta dishes. They clearly have some proficiency when it comes to pizza making, especially the crust which had a perfect consistency - sturdy enough to support plentiful toppings, yet thin and foldable. Our server was quick, efficient and personable. She appeared genuinely happy to be there which elevated everyone's moods. Finally, I would like to point out that the entire place was noticeably spotless. It was evident that they take cleanliness very seriously which I can appreciate. Keep up the good work! read more

We have been ordering from Bari's for years, today's order has finally convinced me to find somewhere else to get Italian food. The garlic bread was dry with no hint of seasoning, the mushroom spaghetti was tasteless like someone opened a can of tomato sauce and poured it on, again no seasoning. The few mushrooms were cut thick and some were not cooked through. It is sad to see this once tasty restaurant turn into mall food. read more

Here's the deal with this place: you come for the food, not the spectacular service. Not that the service is necessarily bad, it's just not great. Kind of meh. Host/Servers/Managers all definitely know each other and it gives "run by a family who kinda does whatever they want" vibe. But I will take that meh service any day because IMO, this is one of the top 3 best pizza places in FloMo. I love love love Bari's pizza. Can't speak for the other dishes, because I haven't had them personally, but I've never heard a complaint. If you are a stickler for service, maybe opt for carry-out, but if it's no sweat off your back to deal with it, I couldn't recommend it more! Seriously their pizza is to die for! read more

With my ADD, Yelp is essentially my food diary. Even when I love a place, I check back on my reviews to see if there was something less than stellar (the tea was overly sweet, the fries weren't crispy) so I can try something different and maximize my next food experience. So imagine my surprise when I dropped in to Bari's for lunch in mid March and was shocked to see that I already had photos and a tip posted. Weird... I don't remember that, maybe it was because it was a delivery order and that day was hectic? Then today I was going through my drafts and saw my notes on this place and my first reaction was 'I've never been there!' I eventually remembered after jogging my memory with my latest pictures. I don't know why, but there is something about this place that I apparently find forgettable. Judging from my draft, the food is decent, just not special or memorable. No crime there. I stopped by on a Wednesday at 1:30pm to see a specials board and find they had a lunch menu. Judging from the shopping center and the décor, which was slightly upscale, that was a nice surprise. The place is large and capable of seating on both sides of the restaurant and the bar. I assume they chose to seat everyone in one group since it was after the rush. The tables and booths are pretty close together (and minimally comfortable) so you will hear everyone's entire conversation. Though they did place the normal menu on the table, I made a quick decision off the one page lunch menu that was in front of me. The lunch prices were pretty reasonable, all being $10 or less. The lunch special comes with bread, salad and entrée, drinks are separate. I did notice during a brief peruse of the menu that some pastas are available gluten free, which is a necessity for some. I even saw that they offer low fat pasta, which has never occurred to me. The bread was fine. The salad was not impressive and the house dressing has a heavy marinara flavor which I find odd with a salad. If I were to dine in again, I would ask for ranch, which was the only other option. The lobster ravioli was acceptable. The flavor wasn't very strong, but you could see the lobster in the mix. One of the four ravioli was overcooked on the edges, so it was really chewy. The other three were fine. For $9.99 I was full and ready for the rest of my day. Service was a bit slow considering the amount of diners, but everyone I dealt with was polite. This place was okay, so if someone asked me to go there, I would amicably agree. However, I'm not going to return on my own. There are too many restaurants on this road to explore and I like to remember how I spent my money. read more

When we walked into the restaurant, the server/host lady kept talking on the phone and tapped on the table with her two fingers to try to tell us to seat on the table. while kept talking on the phone. She didn't hang up the phone even when taking orders. We ordered three pasta dishes and one large phili steak pizza and it didn't taste anything like phili steak I had before. We asked the lady if there's any other sauce like phili steak and she said they don't put any sauce in the pizza. We asked if we can any hot sauce like tabasco and she said they don't even have any hot sauce.. I have never seen an Italian restaurant that doesn't have any hot sauce! I have been here many times always for the pizza which is mostly really good. Although last time there was way too much cheese on the pie. This time we are inside and ordered Chicken Marsala and combo pasta dishes. The Marsala lacked flavor and the sauce was a little watery. The pasta dish was better with the tomato sauce. The bread and olive oil is really good. The service we received wasn't very good from a high school aged guy. Perhaps they are hurting to find help. Second time visiting. Called to make sure they were open on Christmas Eve, and we were told they were. Came in and only one staff serving the entire restaurant! We had to ask for a server in front bc no one came to our table to greet us after 5-10 minutes. The lady was rude and stressed. They can't substitute anything, even if it's the same exact price. We ordered a Caesar salad. We should have asked the price bc it was $10! We thought we were getting a side salad add on. The lady didn't bring our check so my husband had to go back up to the front and ask for it. The lady said she told him and blamed him not knowing on him. Again, rude. The food was good, that was the only silver lining. Likely to find a new Italian place where the customer service is better. P.S. I see a trend with the bad customer service on other reviews. My drink was on point , service was spectacular ( I feel he was the owner ( young man50+ ) our food was serviced quickly - fresh bread with olive oil with Italian spices and butter if you like, then we had the Bari's salad which we the house dressing - great choice it was tasty and I just love homemade sauces - The God Fathers pizza was amazingly delicious I highly recommend Baris - great tasting Italian food - love this place ! My husband and I came here for dinner and had a very underwhelming experience. We were very quickly sat, but then sat for over 10 minutes before anyone checked on our table. When the waitress came to take our drink order, she was very abrupt and rude. She just said, "what do you want." Instead of even apologizing for the wait. The bread was off, it was at best 76.2 degrees while the butter was near its melting stage. How? idk. The pasta sauce to the fettuccine felt extremely glassy, not comparable to the ones i've had in Emiliano Italy lol. the pizza had a nice firm but floppyness to it, reminded me of pizza hut but healthier, a bit oily but no biggie! the water reminded me my time in Vietnam and Colombia, i could taste the tap, harsh on my palate but water is water! Came here last night for my birthday. Had FANTASTIC service and delicious food. I regrettably don't have our server's name (he my have been an owner), but he was phenomenal. So attentive and kind and interactive. I had the lobster ravioli and it was great. Family members had the cheesesteak pizza, Bari's trio, chicken piccata, and shrimp Diablo. All had great reviews from those who ordered. But let me tell you, DO NOT skip the tiramisu. I'm not even that big of a tiramisu fan but that may have just become my favorite dessert. It was insanely delicious!! And the pricing here is not terrible, which is much appreciated with the way things are going right now. My husband and I have also called in pick up orders before and never had a single issue. They have always been kind and food ready on time. For others with to go issues, I recommend calling directly instead of a third party. I will say that the calamari is good but doesn't travel too well, but that's expected with any fried food. The pizza and calzones travel great and have been a home favorite. Don't skip this Flower Mound staple!!
