My boyfriend and I visited this location this past weekend, and it was wonderful! The icecream was delicious and the lady June who made it for us was so helpful. She went above and beyond and created one the best banana splits I've ever had, and I've had many. Everything tasted fresh, both the fruit and the icecream :) It really made our night since we were in need of a late night sweet treat, so thanks June!!

Felt like 90 today, so took daughter to her fav dessert spot. BK31 is also my favorite. I go for jamoca almond fudge while she likes oreos. There's also a fav flavor for everyone at BK31. The ice cream here is always perfect. not to frozen where i've forms and not too soft like it's about to melt. BK31 has lasted my childhood and now get to share it with my daughter. PS We saw all the awesome ice cream cakes and she asked for a wicked ice cream cake for her next Bday. read more

Ordered a birthday ice cream cake from here, 9 inch round with pink stripe and floral design. Ordered and pick up available within 24 hours. Price is about $5 more per cake than the HB location on Yorktown and Brookhurst. Good thing is cake is done within 24 hours while HB location requires 48 hours notice. Walked in early on Sunday and there were tons of cake options. June was working at the counter and she was so personable and sweet. She personally went over to the freezer area to see what I was looking for and to proudly show off the pretty cakes they have. I ended up buying the cutest cake for my 6 year old. I ordered the Cookies & Cream Oreo cake to feed 16 to 20 people. Most places required I order 48 hours before pick up time. 31 Flavors didn't have a set cutoff time. I remembered June from one of the locations in Westminster! I had no idea she came over to this location after the other one closed, she's been making cakes forever and always makes them beautifully! The Icecream was very good. I had the mint chocolate chip and it was phenomenal! The service was highly remarkable especially from the server and cashier Kenny. He treated me very well and was very respectful and friendly. The inside was very clean and it was a good environment to be in. Paid $60 for a dolphin cake and it looked nothing like what was advertised. It looked like my toddler drew the dolphin. Highly disappointed that they would give me a poorly decorated cake. The lady was nice, but the cake was not... and I'm not sure how I feel about her trying to convince me that the dolphin was like that because I chose fudge crunch cake and there wasn't as much room. The only option for the cake was fudge crunch, so that made no sense. Unfortunately, I did not factor in the possibility of getting an ugly cake and didn't have time to deal with finding another one. read more

However, we were really disappointed in how they handled our order. We placed our order a couple of weeks ago and received our confirmation about a week later that they were ready to be picked up. However, the email only indicated that they were ready to be picked up anytime Mon-Sun at their popup location. When we arrived, the told us that they had taken back our order because it had been over 5 days and no one had picked them up yet. Then they told us they would try and see if they could recreate our order. TBH, that is the absolute most ridiculous way to do business. No where on their site did it say it had to be picked up within a certain timeframe, AND no where on their confirmation pick up email did it say it had to be picked up by a certain timeframe either. On top of that, they said that we should have called them. Um no, it's your small business, you have left over orders that need to be picked up, then you need to reach out to the customers and let them know they only have so many more days to pick them up before they are forfeited. That's how all small business, food-related or not, handle thing, especially when there are timeframe constraints. To be clear, the time constraint was not an issue IF they had even expressed there is one, but they never did. Please clean up on your business practices, it's very important to communicate with your customer base.

I had a disappointing experience at this location recently. There was only one worker present at the time, an older Asian lady who seemed visibly frustrated, even though the store was not busy. It was just me and two young girls waiting to be served. When it was my turn, I politely asked for one scoop. She accidentally gave me two scoops, then appeared annoyed at her own mistake. Instead of adjusting it calmly, she dumped the entire cup and gave me what felt like half a scoop in return. I also asked for a lid, and she slammed it on the counter without a word. I understand working alone can be stressful, but there was no reason for the attitude or rough service, especially when I was being patient and respectful. I hope this feedback helps improve the customer experience in the future. read more

There are so many great options to choose from, and everything we tried was fresh and perfectly made. What truly made the visit special was Dung, the owner. She provided amazing service and created such a welcoming atmosphere. Dung was friendly, attentive, and clearly takes pride in running her business. You can tell she genuinely cares about her customers and goes the extra mile to make sure everyone leaves happy. This is the worst BR location! I just went last night to get the "scoop-fest" deal advertised and the husky asian guy that works there started hanging his face with a bad attitude for no reason! This Magnolia location is so CHEAP they scoop the ice cream really small, but charge full price. Don't give this place your money! read more
