When he was done he handed it over to me, I noticed he did not PUT ANY REESE'S PEANUT BUTTER CUPS IN MY DANG SUNDAE, WTF, the whole reason why I wanted the dang sundae in the first place! So I asked did you put any Reese peanut butter cups in my sundae and he answered yes very angrily and pointed to some dried up peanut dust he had sprinkled on top, LMAO WOW. So I tell him sir I wanted my sundae to look like your picture that your advertising, I told him I don't want a product that's being falsely advertised! So my girl tryed to order and he asked her are you with him, she said yes and this A-HOLE flat out refused to serve her. I don't really care for Ice Cream, but my free birthday cone coupon came, so I went. WOW, you had WATERMELON sherbet!!!! I haven't found that flavor since FRIENDLY'S on the East Coast. I got a scoop of WaterMelon and a chocolate hard shell covering and ....was in bliss! Thank you for carrying this flavor. I even went back yesterday and bought another; best flavor ever!!! I've been coming to this location for years and years. Since I was a kid. The staff has always been friendly. But during these tough times I've noticed they aren't the same. I have visited the store in two occasions and I always found people outside mad because the staff wouldn't let them in and claimed to be closed even though it was not closing time and people were inside. Today I was turned back rudely by the older lady working the closing shift. I was there 50 minutes before 5 (Curfew hours) and I was denied service. I understand there is a curfew hence why I arrived before. As employees you are permitted to travel to and from work they aren't doing anything illegal by attending the customers 50 minutes before. read more

So I have worked so hard all month at the gym and today was my only cheat day and I wanted just one thing, a Reese's peanut butter Sunday with the melted peanut sauce and peanut butter cups but no, I get a lazy version of what I wanted and from the manager at that. For the past few days I've been craving root beer floats! Not that cheap fast food joint that put in the pull down handle ice cream, but real hand scooped. I decided to see if a B & R was near my work and Voila! Yelp has not steered me wrong. I hop in may to start what was to be the junk food lunch of the week. Get over here, and when I ask do you have root beer floats, was met with a yes.. then a gasp! Oh no we ran out of root beer. BUT the lovely lady said if I get a root beer from the liquor store, which was a mere 2 stores down she would make it an only charge me for the ice cream!. How customer service was that! I thought that was great. Off I go. so for 3.00 but the 85 cents I spent on the can of soda. I had a large cup of root beer float, with left over soda, and enough ice cream to make a second one when I got back to the office, but you know that was pretty much gone by the time I got back. I was disappointed to see someone who appeared to be the store manager and his friends and employees smoking marijuana basically right outside the store and then proceed to walk right back inside for work. Owner beware, there is a good chance your employees are stealing from you. I went in about a week ago (7/14) to buy an ice cream cake and as I took out my cash I was told the price was $40 even because of a coupon. When I asked for a receipt (meaning the register needed to be involved in the transaction) the price changed and he couldn't find this $2 off coupon. It seemed pretty likely that he intended on keeping the cash for himself. UPDATE: After my past ordeal I came a few days later around 9:52. Their doors were locked, workers inside. They once again, told me their register has been closed and that they were closed. It says clearly on the window that their hours are from 10-10..I pointed out that it was not yet 10 and that this has happened before. Once I asked who "they" was, he said "oh I just decided to close the register early"....Baskin Robins, get your workers to be more professional. I LOVE Baskin Robbins. My only complaint about this location is that they aren't 24 hours, although I've never seen one in LA that is... maybe that's just the way it is back in the midwest, but there's nothing like a baskin robbins/dunkin donuts stop at 3am. I like my milkshakes extra thick. A lot of places don't get it when I request this, and I end up with a perfectly liquified, drinkable through a straw beverage. However, I prefer when I couldn't possibly suck the shake through a straw because it is impossibly thick, and a spoon will stand perfectly upright in the center of the cup. If details and getting what you pay for matters to you, please go to another location. Sure the manager doesn't care if they got it right, it's not HIS daughter's 1st birthday. I ordered my cake online, the 3 pink "ombre-inspired" rosette cake. When I pick it up, it's two colors, light and darker pink sloppily and hastily created...doesn't look like the pretty rosettes on the pic. The little banner for the birthday message was placed unevenly toward the back. Not much thought on placement, because if you put the candle in front, it blocks the message, and in back, there's a bunch of empty space in front, like really off balance. Ok, I can deal with that, and even if the rosettes aren't perfect, which does bug me, I'll deal with it...but the colors? This was $35.99, nearly a $40 cake, and you can't put a little effort into getting it right? The manager was the one helping me and when I asked about the 3 colors, he said, "Well we follow the directions given to us on the order." But it says right here on the receipt "ombre 3 pink colors like the pic" I point out. He tells me "Well if you aren't happy, we can give you a refund." And I'm like "But then I don't get my cake?" (Mind you I'm on the way to her birthday party) He literally shrugged at me! And so I'm like, "Ok, you guys mess up the order, and I either get my money back and no cake, or just deal with the cake?" Yes he says. "You guys should at least refund a little discount. The directions were right here." "No we can't do that." The manager couldn't seem to care less. His vibe was totally annoyed and just trying to get me out of there. Ok, the clock is ticking, party is starting shortly, and I take my sad little cake and leave. Like I said, this is my daughter's first birthday and it really meant a lot to me, especially to get nice pictures for her baby book. Maybe other parents will get why I was so bummed. But really, the most hurtful part was the shrug and total lack of care for my concerns. This wasn't like a crazy custom cake, this was a standard one they offer on their website. Am I really asking too much to get what I paid for and what they are advertising? And at least pretend to care and try to make it right. Not a shrug. I won't be coming here again. Baskin Robbins use to be the bomb. What happened to them? I remember the good old days where I would get a scoop after school or wanted an Ice cream cake from them. I remembered when they actually had 31 flavors to choose from, now it seems like they flipped the number to 13 flavors to choose. I always have to settle for a flavor I have never heard of, or a flavor that was named after combining two celebrity names. What happened to the great flavors of Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry, and yes dare I say "RAINBOW SHERBERT". I am not afraid to admit that I enjoy Sherbert. Baskin Robbins has gone down, I hope they somehow meet me halfway and have 22 Flavors instead of just 13. I'm a sad little boy now. :( read more
