    Caramel rose latte (large)
    Kamy T.

A local neighborhood spot serving coffee and a selection of pastries/sandwiches/small bites. Got to try their caramel rose latte, and it was nice! It wasn't too sweet and had a nice floral touch. They serve fresh biscuits and warm it up for you - it was incredibly buttery and soft. There's a choice of salted honey butter or jam to go with it, and I went with the former which was tasty. Service is friendly!

What a lovely neighborhood gem. Friendly and welcoming service. Delicious coffee and one of the best cappuccinos I have tried in a long time. Loved sipping it on their beautiful and serene back patio. Saw lots of pretty birds back there. Tried the breakfast sandwich on one of their housemade biscuits. I added turkey bacon to mine. Definitely recommend 10/10 excellent way to start the day. Will be back to try more items and enjoy their back patio area!

Every third Friday the cafe offers a comedy night starting around 7pm. It's free but donations are appreciated and highly welcomed. We had the grilled cheese and tomato soup with potatoes. It was really good. The lineup of comedians was great and we had a good time.

I always like to stop at Bazaar when I go to SF. I will actually go out to my way to get coffee here after stopping at Arsicault in part because of the service. They are always friendly and in a good mood. However I do love the coffee as well. Added bonus is that they serve Chagaccinos ‍

my favorite cafe in SF!! simply magical being here and sitting outside on a sunny day. love the lattes and biscuits too. feels like home

I really like the vibe a lot of this place. It has an old skool coffee shop from the 90s atmosphere with nooks and crannies with indoor and outdoor seating. I love the outside patio especially on a sunny day (though realistically the Outer Richmond has more foggy days than sunny). The patio is spacious and enjoyable to sit and eat there. They serve pastries, soups, sandwiches, quiche, biscuits and have lots of different tea lattes. I love any place that has a rose latte. My favorite sandwich is the Cape Town which is basically a grilled cheese with onions and tomatoes. Parking around here is extremely difficult. It's definitely more a neighborhood type place. 1 star off because they don't list their prices on the menu which I find very bizarre (pun intended).

    The breakfast Awesome biscuit!

First time here. Small place. Pretty empty when I came so food and coffee was quick. I got the Honey Lavendar Latte 9.5/10 Really good. Also got 'The Breakfast' which is a biscuit sandwich 10/10 the biscuit itself is so delish!. I added turkey bacon and avocado to mine. It hit the spot ! And also got a cookie on the side which was decent . Overall , yes I recommend. And I will be back to try more and get that biscuit again

LOVED THIS LITTLE GEM!!! My friend's cat got me a gift certificate here for watching her while her owner was away on vacation. Go Irma, you know what I like - and that is BISCUITS. (in the carb, and "kitty massage" formats) Hubbs and I came here for breakfast. I ordered the breakfast biscuit with egg and hubby got the curry biscuit. We also got a sesame match mini bundt. Let's start with what a cute place this is, inside and the courtyard. Also how sweet and welcoming the staff is - It truly feels like a little neighborhood hangout. They have live music some nights - and I want to come back and check that out. My breakfast buscuit was delicious, but now I want to come back and just try a biscuit warmed with only butter, I bet that is great! They also have a small selection of rotating sweet and savory baked goods, all made in house. Hubbs liked his biscuit (with curry) too - it could have been hotter (but that kinda proved that they do NOT use a microwave, which would have ruined the biscuits texture). Hubbs also says the coffee was great - and that is praise he gives rarely . Another person at a table had grilled cheese and soup - HUGE and looked awesome!!!

The atmosphere of Bazaar is warm and inviting and the owners go out of their way to foster events and activities that create an unmistakable sense of community that can be felt the second you walk through the door. The food and drinks reflect this care too, with the menu reflecting the dynamic nature of the space by rotating from the standard breakfast/lunch menus to event/evening-specific ones (all of them yummy). Staff is friendly and accommodating.

    The Breakfast

Husband and I had visited and enjoyed the garden the last time we were in the city. Today, I brought my daughter. We were greeted upon entering. The owner seeing that his staff was busy with drink orders jumped onto the register to take our orders. It seems like this place is known for their biscuits because they are only available until they sell out. We already had in mind The Breakfast and the Curry & Biscuit. We had a question about "rocket" as an add on to The Breakfast. It turns out that the Europeans call arugula by that term. I ordered The Breakfast with everything but the bacon and the owner very kindly put the cream cheese sauce and some kind of hot sauce on the side. For my beverage, I wanted the London Fog. The owner recommended oat milk as a milk alternative, but I'm not a fan of the taste of oat milk and went with almond milk. Daughter ordered a Fuijan Fog with oat milk. There was a choice of chicken or zucchini tofu with her Curry & Biscuit and she chose chicken. I knew from my last visit that there were seasonal specialties when it comes to the pastries. I enjoy looking at what is offered in the case and the way the owner talked about them being made in house and his familiarity with the items sealed the purchase of a few items. He suggested the French onion and the cinna which we will need to try next time when we bring the members of the family that like French onion soup and cinnamon. He had a midweek cookie special and we got the last white chocolate cardamom with black currant cookie. I enjoyed the maple dark chocolate bundt last time. It's wheat free and vegan. Daughter wanted to try the black sesame matcha baby bundt. It was such a pleasure having the assistance and menu knowledge of the owner. He started the bag with the pastries to which our breakfast orders were added. The temperatures of the drinks were perfect to drink in the walk home with a little nip in the air. My London Fog with almond milk was excellent. The maple dark chocolate bundt which we took a few bites of in the garden patio was sweet and moist. Father was waiting at home to share The Breakfast with me. With the sauces on the side, I liked adding the slightly spicy sauce to my egg and dabbing some cream sauce on the arugula. Daughter would have liked more of the cheong or orange syrup in her Fuijan latte. We had a good breakfast this morning.

I got the caramel rose latte and it was so good!! There's tons of seating and the vibe is so cute. They also have pastries. There's music which is nice, and a piano if customers want to play.

    Do they have bathrooms?

Yes, they have one single-occupant gender neutral restroom.

Did Bazaar Cafe close? I'd be so sad to hear that if it's true.

It's temporary, new owners. They told me they'd be reopening near the end of October...so should be anytime now!

I have gone to Blackbird a handful of times and have enjoyed the experience each time. Blackbird is primarily a bookstore, but they do have an outdoor window where you can order drinks ranging from matcha (Rocky's Matcha, if you're curious about which brand they use), lattes, and tea. They also carry a good amount of pastries (even mid-day, they have a lot of goodies), which I really appreciated. When you order your drink, you have to enter inside the bookstore to wait for your drink to be called, but you can take the time to stroll around and look at their book selection and trinkets. Heads up: the seating here is limited but very lovely. Inside, there are a couple of community tables, but their outdoor area is absolutely magical, with lush greenery and benches for you to enjoy your drinks. This time around, I got one of their seasonal drinks, a honey lavender vanilla latte, and I paired it with an Earl Grey olive oil loaf. The portion of the pastry was generous and moist, while the icing was not too sweet. Overall, a great pick for a cafe if you're in the area.

Olive oil spelt cake: It reminds me of pound cake. Not that sweet except the frosting/icing. It was okay but as someone who's not as fond of that kind of cakey texture, I'd probably not get it again. They have a really lovely garden and patio in the back. There is also a bathroom. The acoustics and set up for events isn't great, though. It was hard for me to concentrate on the speaker for the book talk since you can hear the noises from the cafe behind and also the sounds of other store customers all around you. That was the only downside, but I think it's a very charming bookstore otherwise.
