We ordered gumbo, 1lb crawfish and snow crabs, veggies and half lb shrimp in their Tex Orleans sauce. While we're waiting, we also got complimentary chips and dip. If you're used to the traditional flavor in other restaurants I think this seafood boil be too spicy. Crawfish is pretty good for the price! They have a 5lb for 45$ special, that's not bad at all. Without the special, the crawfish is 9.99$ a lb. We got it the Tex-Orleans way, the seasoning is really good with a good spice balance. We went during happy hour, they have a good happy hour menu! The only thing that could've been slightly better was my redfish was a tad bit overcooked, which made it a little bit dry, and my crawfish etouffee could've used a bit more seasoning. However, I do understand that certain areas and demographics have different palates that need to be accommodated, so no biggie. Let's get to the Rockstar of my visit, my waitress, Kandace. I've never had a waitress think to ask questions outside of the box that are so simple yet would prompt answers to help ensure thorough service. For example, I asked for root beer, and she asked if Barq's ok. May not seem significant, but it is because that's the only brand I like because I'm not a cream soda A&W fan. Also, she thought to ask, before we ordered, if there were any allergies. That speaks volumes because, yes, there shouldn't be any cross-contamination going on, but things do happen, so Kandace's asking made me feel like if there were allergies, extra precautions would be taken. It also showed her being prepared to suggest any needed alternatives. Which actually came into play when I ordered collard greens as a side. She informed me that it has pork in it, and I don't eat pork, so knowing that, she was able to easily suggest items cooked without pork. While we were waiting on our meals, she made sure to keep us updated almost every time she passed our table. As much as we've visited various BB's locations, she was the first to inform and explain about the Royalty Member program, so of course, I signed up. Kandace was such a pleasure to myself and my daughter that we decided this location would be the one we'd start to visit and more frequently. It makes it even more awesome when I realized we have the same name, just spelled differently. I've been to BB's and overall I've had a decent experience there. Previously i've ordered their crawfish and their BB's tex-orleans spice was very good and flavorful on the crawfish. Today I ordered the boudin balls appetizer and I absolutely loved them. 10/10 I would recommend those. For my entree I ordered the crawfish etouffee and I did not like it. It tasted like a flour and butter gravy with a little bit of creole spice, and it was also bland. The portion was very small for the price of 9.39. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend this dish. Overall, I would still come and try more dishes at this restaurant and our waitress was very kind and comped my return for the etouffee with no complaints! Staff was friendly and fast! read more

Terrific food at reasonable prices with very friendly service! Any of the po-boys can also be served as a burrito, in a whole wheat tortilla. Staff turnover seems to be rapid, so you are unlikely to have the same server when you come back. My new favorite is their pecan crusted chicken breast. I usually hesitate to order any chicken in Houston because it's usually cooked to the point of having no moisture left in it. Not the case here. Tender, juicy, and very flavorful! My boyfriend and I came on a fairly quiet Monday and were blessed to be seated with Candice. Her service was top notch. She constantly checked on us and was incredibly attentive. Never once did we see our water glass close to empty. Food- We ordered 8lbs of live Tex-Orleans style crawfish. It's the first time this year that they are live. They were pretty large and super delicious. At the end of our dining experience, Candice gave us a bowl of warm water, soap, and lemons to clean our hands. This wasn't the first time we had experienced this as last time we sat at the bar with a gentleman in glasses and had the same fabulous experience. Came here with two friends on a Wednesday evening for some crawfish. We got the three pound order twice for a total of six pounds! I also had a potato. We got the crawfish spiced the Tex-Orleans way, which is so flavorful you don't need to purchase additional sauces! Our first three pounds were pretty average but spicier than expected. Our second three pounds were huge, and by the time we got to them, we had gotten used to the spice, which I would say is pretty moderate! It was literally crawling with black flies! And there were fly traps propped up on the window ledges that were black with dead flies. How does the health department allow this place to stay open. I've frequented this BB's location plenty of time for dining in or even take out. I've never been compelled to leave a review until last night when I had Candace as waitress ! She was beyond amazing and attentive ! 2 people in my party ordered boiled seafood and at the end she brought over soapy water bowls for them to wash their hands ! Super impressive on top of her already great attention she gave our table ! Plus she was training a new hire (he was also amazing !). Only reason the review isn't 5 stars is the fact the bartender kept sending the waiter over to harass our table to finish our drinks by 2:15am which was going to happen regardless but the constant reminders were bothersome. I came in here on Sunday and it was not that busy. Crawfish season is pretty much over but they still had crawfish. The crawfish that I received were pretty small but the flavor was good and they were seasoned perfectly. They only had the field run crawfish and normally when I go to BBs they have some pretty large crawfish. This is one of my favorite places in Houston to get crawfish actually. They have all the fixings the corn, mushrooms and even edamame. The service was pretty good. It was one girl taking care of the whole dining room. She was very friendly to my daughter and I. If you like a smaller setting this is the perfect BBs for you. My baby girl enjoyed her macaroni and cheese and french fries as well. We will definitely be back. read more

Yikes. I should've checked Yelp before coming here. It was a Wednesday which I expected to mean empty and fast service, but I was wrong. I sat there for over half an hour, waiting for a simple bowl of red beans and rice, while my companion received and finished her salad. The table next to me arrived before us and had been waiting even longer for their food. The place is tiny so, it appears packed but honestly it isn't. Things are just hectic and unorganized. After almost an hour, I asked to cancel my order and get the check. That's when I learned my food was "in the window." Apparently I could have been eating long before but it didn't matter, at that point I just wanted to leave. Also, there menu is very limited compared to other locations.
